Hello! My name's Meghan, and this is the first comic dub I'm attempting to do by myself! It's called Sensory Overload, and it's by il-li-an over on tumblr. It's a fanmade comic for the series My Hero Academia by Kohei Horikoshi.
FRANCHISE SUMMARY
My Hero Academia takes place in a world where over 80% of the population is born with a unique superpower known as a quirk. Quirks come in all shapes and sizes - some are powerful, some are not very powerful, and some can be more of a hindrance than a gift.
The characters featured in My Hero Academia are going to U.A. High School in order to further develop their quirks so that they can become Pro Heros that combat villains all over the world. U.A. is one of Japan's top schools for training heroes, and is revered all over the country for its hero training capabilities.
COMIC SUMMARY
In Sensory Overload, the girls of class 1-A pressure classmate Izuku Midoriya into crossdressing in a girl's uniform. After escaping the room in a panic, the now crossdressing Midoriya runs into some trouble.
AUDITIONING RULES
1. All auditioners must be of 14 years of age or older. These characters are 15-16 themselves, so anyone younger than that simply won't fit. Also, this is for maturity reasons as well.
2. Auditioners must have a good microphone. There's no need for an XLR mic, as this is simply a comic dub, but no laptop, webcam, phone, or headphone mics will be accepted. A Blue Snowball is good enough for me.
3. Auditions should have minimal to no background noise. A bit is okay, but if I hear fans whirring very loudly or children laughing or something around those lines, you won't be cast.
4. All who audition must have a Discord. Let's face it, the chats here on castingcall.club are not very ideal. Thus, a server for all who are cast will be made to discuss the project and prepare/submit lines.
5. Record 2-4 takes of each audition line. Three is usually optimal. One take won't really let me know what you're capable of.
6. Only audition in you're ready for the commitment. This may take a while! It'll take especially long for characters like Bakugou and Midoriya who have a lot of lines. Don't audition if you think you'll be too busy or quit midway!
7. Don't bother introducing yourself. Just go straight into your lines. If I want to know about you, I can check your profile.
