Welcome to the NHK Abridged Bits
Project Overview
Hello, everyone! I am currently working on a YouTube video for the anime Welcome to the NHK and need some help! I wanted to make some moments in-between the sections/chapters of the video to cut up the flow a little bit and keep things interesting. So what I landed on was making little abridged-esque bits! And that's where you all come in! At the current moment, I'm looking for three voice actors (may be more later depending on the clips decided) to help me make these! A few things that you should know beforehand is that there will likely be some crude humor involved. Nothing beyond what you'd expect in a TV-14 rating but keep it in mind in case you might you're not comfortable swearing, for example. There might also be some changes made to the lines, so I might ask for a re-recording to either better fit the context or readjust the atmosphere. Nonetheless, more will be detailed upon selection! Yamazaki is a strange otaku character who has both a hyper-confident and a sensitive side. For this role, I'm looking for mostly the former but there will likely be lines that need that hint of vulnerability in them for the scene. Overall, this is the only role I'm really looking something of a voice sound-alike (example here: https://youtu.be/mohcPIaupxg?si=H72aXHrboNJl4saV&t=38). Essentially, he has this kind of wimpy, nerdy sounding voice that I'd like to lean into for the comedy bits. But I'd love to hear whatever voice you can perform for this, so feel free to send it my way!

Hitomi's place in these bits is to be a super toxic counterpoint to the main character, Satou. Her place in these bits is to sound super sincere but to come off extremely awkward in return. Most lines will be delivered in a very "matter of fact" way but there may be a few lines where she'll show a more emotional, sorrowful side. Kind of like a tinge of regret... But mostly drug humor...

*remorseful* Maybe all of this wouldn't have happened if we just got together back then, huh?
Misaki is meant to be played off as something of a confused, naive girl. She means well but often comes off as... a little too honest. Still, her delivery is meant to be very sincere. Pretty much as if she's a teacher trying to educate someone. So imagine her being on the bright and bubbly side. However, some lines will also be more on the sad side.
