"Guardian of the Sanctuary" is the third installment of the trilogy "The Breath of Life". A high fantasy feature animation released 3 years ago by husband and wife team. Yes, two people make these productions on a very low (non-existent) budget. We both work full time.
Although we cannot promise the success we had on the first film (62 awards at festivals around the world) we will release it to festivals first, then available for streaming on various platforms. The second film is still in the festival circuit, and already has awards! It will be released probably next year. Still putting finishing touches on. This third release is projected to be released in two years. Best guess. 2026.
The story is original. We hope to find the right talent for these small roles here, like we did on the first and second film! Thanks Casting Call Club!

For all those who participated in this audition, my wife and I thank you sincerely! We are very pleased with the outcome, and once again some of the choices proved extremely difficult. We will do our best to reach out to each one of you over the next couple days. But please bear with us. I got a cold, and several other thing came about that takes our time. (always happens lol)

(38 Lines) She is an old, wise Asian woman. Meditates often, she gives her wisdom to her grandson. (supportive role) We are looking for an asian accent, preferably Chinese.
[With Astonishment] "All my life… Our life… has been about mere survival... in desolate caves... And this… This is like stepping into a living fairy tale."
[Heartbroken but caring, to Mila] "Please... Let's not press this, daughter... Nobody can tell right now.."
[With concern] "It's the most perilous of all your challenges... I’ve been worried, Will..."
(23 lines) Teenage Girl (18) She has the magic power of passion, and is a passionate character. She attempts to lure the lead character, Will. Her voice should be charming, and sometimes passionate. (not to be redundant) Italian accent. Voice should not be cartoonish or over-animated.
[Cheery, bubbly.. charming] "Of course! You are the most powerful Mage of Dreams! I can't believe it’s actually you! I’ve always wanted to meet you!!"
[whispering sensually to his ear] "It’s a skeleton of a woman."
[A bit of urgency, perhaps quickly] "Yes, I can control demons... But I’m here to save you. The Cursed are coming for you."
(23 lines) Creepy, middle-aged leader who rules the underground cursed. Speaks with strength and sarcasm. (Gypsy - spanish accent)
"And YOU still don’t know who he is… You were a little girl, so in love with him… Love made you blind… In reality, he only wanted - -"
""HE FAILED! Do you think he’s not going to try again? He’s trying right now, right under your nose."
"We just finished with the Mage of Music. Ah! Here are his lungs! (showing lungs that glow with turquoise magic in a glass capsule) Wow! Beautiful!"
(7 lines) This male adult mage represents an African-like culture. Preferably a mature and slightly arrogant rich African voice with South African accent. (or other African accents possible) (the arrogance becomes hypocritical)
[With confidence] Arrogance precedes a fall. You wear it heavily."
"Perhaps there’s hope for you yet... What do you need?"
(11 lines) Freckled is an adventurous young male teenager of the Natural Forces nation. (viking culture) Full of energy. (but not a cartoon voice)
[With energy] "He said he’s not going to fight the BEAR-WOLF! Then called us superstitious idiots..."
[casually teasing] "But if the back of your head is itching, it means someone’s going to kick your ass soon!"
[superstitiously trying to make good luck] "Now flip over! Come on! Flip! Or we’ll have bad luck!"
(12 lines) Hairy is another adventurous male teenager in the nation of magic of Natural Forces. (viking culture) Not a cartoon voice.
"You can't do it because you KNOW it’s impossible... So, we need someone who DOESN’T KNOW it’s impossible!"
"Your left cheek is itching? That’s a sign of good luck!"
(5 lines) Mage of Animals is an older man. He speaks urgently in this scene. (preferably with an Irish accent)
[with urgency] "You must leave at once!"
"It's a defense against intruders. The forest plays it every night to protect itself. So, leave"
[answering nobly to the question "who are you?"] "I am the supreme Mage of Animals."
(3 lines) Middle-aged Male, Mediterranean accent. Kind and charismatic.
"Ignore him. This harp functions like any other. He’s just struggling because he lacks motivation. What about you? Got any motivation?"
(3 lines) Chordy is a Mage of music, a irritated teenager who plays the harp. Just a few lines, preferably with a mediterranean accent.
"Hold it right there! Unless you’re a Mage of Music, you shouldn’t even think about touching this harp"
"It’s always out of tune and impossible to tune."
