Our Sky Fades : Radio Drama
Project Overview
Floating islands connected by a sea of clouds. At the edges of the world. A terrifying storm that never ends. This is Lutch, a world fighting itself just to exist just a couple more years. A truly beautiful world that will take you into the abyss of the clouds if you aren't careful.
This is a Radio Drama that takes place in a Steampunk/fantasy world. Where it's people are in a constant struggle for supplies and land. A mixture of fantasy races and technological advancements. The story follows Harper and Jake and their struggle to live in the world. But they both have a habit of getting into other peoples business
Audition guidlines
1. A good mic quality is a must here. I don’t want one guy to sound like they recorded in a snowstorm. So no background noises, no peeking, and no popping. If you don’t know how to get rid of these then look it up.
2. Don’t be a Dick. This one is obvious, I don’t want to work with people who are rude to me or anyone else on the team. I’m looking for cooperation. Not discourse.
3. You must do live direction! Look I know it might be nerve racking to have another person listen to you act. But I don’t have the time to do the email chain. And if we do Live direction Lines will get done so much quicker. Also i’m not going to say you suck. I’m not gonna violate my own rules, of not being a dick. I'll do my absolute best to work around your schedule, and be nice with my directions. all and all. If you get the part, we are a team making a project. And I want to make sure that you feel like a value you as a team member.
4. Be fine with cursing.
5. Do 3 takes of each line. If you want to have a leg up on the people who didn’t read the rules. (cause I know there will be some) Do multiple takes and show me your acting range. I have each line equipped with an emotion or way I want you to deliver them, but put a little bit of you in the take. If you want to do the line like a Dragon who lost it’s milk at the store and burns it down to the ground on accident because of it. Then do it. But do make sure you do the directions first.
6.Have a discord. This will be the main way I’ll inform everyone of what’s happening when, and it’s where I’ll distribute scripts, and updates on the project.
7. I’m not afraid of recasting. If for some reason you aren’t following the rules even after you get casted. I will replace you with someone who I’ll enjoy working with. Reference rule number 2.
8. This project is long term. so just know that some roles will be reoccurring

Harper's home was destroyed by a natural disaster. Fleeing her island with her dad, Paps. They landed on an Island called Thieves Haven. There Harper learned to steal, lie, and run like a professional thief.
Personality wise, she is a goofball. She's not afraid to go shot for shot with her dad in the local Tavern. She'll crack jokes and have a carefree attitude most of the time. "Life doesn't last that long so enjoy it while you can" is her saying. Although she fears dying early. It's all to common for people to die in this world. And she has so much to do in such little time.

Jake was born to his Mother Angelica Krenner, a Captain of the Victorian Air Fleet, and raised by his father Franky Prennen, A Peace loving Philosopher. His parents are divorced and he lived with his Father for most of his life. After his father died he moved in with his mother. They do not have a good relationship with each other.
Personality wise, He is a logical and straight forward person. He hates any conflict involving bloodshed and would rather solve things peacefully. Though he knows that sometimes violence is needed. Despite his cold standoffish nature, He has a genuine want to help people.

Angelica Krenner is a Air Captain for the Victorian army. Above all else she values, Strength, Discipline, and Honor. She uses brute force to enforce laws in the Eastern Sky. Her war name was 'The Horned Angel' by the few pirates that lived to tell the tale. She is happily remarried to Parker the Satyr.
Personality wise, She is stubborn and does not change her opinions easily. What she believes is right, is right.

BONCHO THE MACHO! He's just a dude wanting to make the world a little better. He helps outthe town with any heavy lifting or physical tasks. And when he's not helping out in town, he's working his part time job at the docks. looking after the airships.
Personality wise. He's a genuinely nice guy. He wants to help people and loves to hear them happy.
