Project Overview
Hometown Summer is an animated feature film about a teenage girl, Serena who is determined to prove to her friends that she has the most memorable summer. But when her parents suddenly announce they'll be spending this summer in Sydney, Australia, Serena begins to question her friendship with her so-called friends as she rekindles with her hometown friends.
Release date : June/July 2025 (might be push to 2026 due )
Payment : All payments will be made once the film is released to make sure nobody drops out in the middle of production.

Serena is the main protagonist of the film. She is an online influencer, therefore she radiates confidence and is outgoing. She is the IT girl, the popular one in the friend group, but she has a heart of gold. Despite being an influencer, Serena has developed a passion for cinematography.

Rylie is the youngest in the friend group, yet she is the smartest and most intellectual. She craves academic validation and the desire to one day succeed as a doctor. She is outgoing and opens her heart to new opportunities. Unlike her friends, Rylie comes from a low-income immigrant family. Her parents are not educated and barely graduated high school, but they strive to provide Rylie with what is best for her.

Caroline is the crazy and weird person in the group. She loves a good drama or gossip session. She knows everybody. Apart from that, Caroline is a fashion enthusiast and a huge film geek. Her career aspiration is to become a renowned fashion designer and start her own fashion business like Christian Dior.

Kaylin is the pretty downtown girl. She is the chill one in the group. In the film, she carries her digicam everywhere they go. She makes sure she captures every moment. Kaylin loves music, collecting records and singing. She also plays the guitar and occasionally writes songs.

Olivia is the creative artistic girl in the group. Unlike Rylie, Olivia is rather shy. She keeps to herself and prefers a lot of introverted activities. But she has grown more confident and comfortable speaking out. She also loves cats.
