Fire Emblem Heroes - Fates Royal Siblings Dubs
Project Overview
So! We've done a Lord's version, now it's time to start gathering together the next group, the Fates Siblings (that's Hoshido and Nohr, and no Corrin as we've already done them!)
We'll be doing a summoning fandub and a skill/critical hits one too! We'll just be doing the characters main unit for now (so no summer versions etc, they'll come later, but you will be expected to record for them if you are cast!)
I'm just going to post my rules below from last time. Good luck!
GROUNDRULES
1. Good acting! - Now if you've played Fire Emblem Heroes you'll know that the skill quotes are very poorly done...it's embarrassing to listen to professional voice actors and actresses sounding so bored. So please, really go for these quotes and don't give us a half-a**ed attempt.
2. Accents! - As fun as it would be to give every series a different accent, I'd like all the characters to have nice North American accents. If you aren't American, fear not! As long as your accent is convincing enough I'll be happy.
3. No time wasting! - Ok, saying "Hey [insert name] here and I'm auditioning for the role of [insert character name] enjoy!" No, no, no! Let's get straight to the audition and not waste any time with boring intros!
4. Feedback! - If you'd like feedback can you please send me a PM.
5. Be nice! - This is to be a fun project. Don't be rude or disrespect one another, or get salty if you aren't cast.
And lastly, although all the characters have English voice actors, I''d like you to give an original take for the characters and not try and impersonate the English VA's. There's no point doing a fandub if we're just going to be impersonating the characters is there?
Also, with regards to casting - no limit to how many characters you can be cast as. Audition for as many characters as you like!
Do your best and stay positive :D

Just Hinoka and Azura left! Hopefully I'll be able to cast next Tuesday!
High Prince of Hoshido, voiced by Matthew Mercer
In line with his position as the direct successor to the helm of Hoshido, Ryoma cuts a figure of calm collectedness, keenly scrupulous as he rigorously analyses the innumerable situations that he finds himself mired in before finalizing any decisions. This greatly contributes to this aura of charisma and wisdom that he is known to exude, one that sees many turning to him for his sagely advice in his support conversations. Adept in the art of war, this, combined with his shrewd sense of insight and intelligence, has helped Ryoma to lead the Hoshidan army to victory in the campaigns that they have participated in. Further complementing his astute skill as a battle tactician is that of his skill with the sword, one that is regarded to be unparalleled throughout the kingdom of Hoshido. In his spare time, Ryoma often meditates to keep himself calm.
Consequently, due to Ryoma seemingly appearing to be perfection incarnate, both his brother and son feel insecure and inferior to him. Despite this, Ryoma cares greatly for his siblings, having a strong bond with each of them. Despite not being his sister, he also is protective of Azura as well. Even the Avatar is a person of great importance to him, even after years of separation and expresses nothing but joy in their reunion despite being the only one of the Hoshidan siblings to know that they are not his sibling by blood. However, his duty to his nation and his family can overrule these feelings for Avatar if he believes that they have betrayed them, most notably in Conquest where he is lead to believe that they killed Hinoka. However, in Birthright and Revelation, he expresses complete confidence in the Avatar leading their armies, being a wise consort to them during their campaign.
His undying will makes him the last one to give up out of everyone in the army. His birthday is May 1.
"You're always so diligent. Remember to rely on your allies for strength. And I say, think of me as a brother."
"I will always give you my all, no matter what my power."
"May your blood crust my blade!"
"You deserve worse."
"We stand together."
"You have breathed your last."
Princess of Hoshido, voiced by E.G. Daily and...Cindy Robinson...
Though born a princess, Hinoka's personality is nothing typical of one. Serious, determined, and unsophisticated, Hinoka has the spirit of a natural warrior and valiantly charges into battle with utter fearlessness and courage. This spirit of Hinoka's is strongly complemented by her passionate sense of patriotism, one that compels her to personally take up arms in order to defend her homeland and its people from coming under harm. In this regard, she has the tendency to charge headlong into battle with wild abandon, often disregarding her personal safety and the objections of others as she does so. She is known to overwork herself to the point of exhaustion as shown in her support with Hinata.
Ryoma and Hinoka note that in the past, she was much more shy and even a crybaby. However, the Avatar's kidnapping proved to be a turning point both in her lifestyle and her personality. Their kidnapping is a source of much guilt and regret in her as she was unable to rescue them. Hinoka became devoted into becoming a warrior in order to gain the strength to rescue them. As a side effect, this caused her to be unintentionally yet extremely neglectful to Takumi, Sakura and Azura, not spending a lot of time with them while she trained to rescue the Avatar: her supports are possibly the first real bonding time she's ever had with them, and she's stunned and regretful when she realizes that Takumi believes she wouldn't care if he died and Sakura thinks they are not alike at all. Despite that, she cares deeply for them, with her supports with Subaki telling that, in the midst of a heavy storm where pegasi couldn't fly, she charged into a forest to look for a lost Sakura with complete disregard for her own safety.
It is through Hinoka's adamant desire to protect others that a softer side to her personality is simultaneously revealed; she is, at the core, selflessly compassionate, where she values the lives of others more than she does her own, no matter what their social class may be. This is especially evident in her supports with Azama, where, in spite of his protests, Hinoka desperately attempts to salvage the life of a fatally wounded soldier, unreservedly demanding him to lend his healing assistance to her.
She is the most caring person in the army, knowing plenty of soldiers by name and acts with consideration towards them. Her birthday is August 18.
"You can depend on me completely. There's something about you. For some reason, I feel like you're family!"
"Well? Do I seem stronger than I was before?"
"Here to help!"
"I won't lose!"
"Clear the way!"
"I can do this!"
Prince of Hoshido, voiced by Roger Rose and Michael Sinterniklaas
Constantly overshadowed by the talents of his older siblings, Takumi is thus, understandably, sometimes portrayed in a state of moody malcontent due to having developed a bit of an inferiority complex that he covers up, keenly desiring to receive recognition without being framed by the achievements of Ryoma and Hinoka. This fact alone serves as a strength and a flaw; on one hand, this has spurred Takumi to be immensely diligent in his austere efforts to upgrade his abilities, which have made him a very skilled archer. This fact is evident in his supports with Mozu, where he disproves her doubts over his farming capabilities by tirelessly engaging in manual labor on the field.
On the other hand, however, Takumi is known to be rather mentally weak due to the overwhelming inferiority complex that he harbors, a fact that is easily exploited and corrupted by Iago. The seething words of hatred that Takumi repeatedly utters while under the corruption's influence are very telling of the crushing inferiority that he feels, as they revolve around a desire to be stronger. His supports with several characters also highlight this; the conversations that he shares with Kiragi particularly exemplify this, where his immediate reaction to witnessing his son's stellar hunting skills at a tender young age is to experience jealousy at the possibility of him mastering the Fujin Yumi and eventually surpassing him. Unlike his clear sense of inferiority, he does not exhibit any sign of megalomania outside of this scene, which is why it is uncertain whether this something he really feels or simply brought on by Iago's manipulation.
Takumi does care for his siblings. He always look up to his elder brother, Ryoma and wanted to surpass him one day. He cares so deeply for his younger sister, Sakura and willing to protect her from any harm, even though they're in the middle of the war but they cannot cancel the tradition Hoshidan banquet. Despite of his care for his elder sister, Hinoka, He's being to harsh toward her when he'll catch up to her even though he is seriously wounded causing his sister's concern but he promise to never do it again.
Takumi is also known to be a very cautious person, a fact that is proven throughout the Birthright route, where he is suspicious of anyone from Nohr. One such instance that clearly proves this fact is when the Avatar makes the decision to allow Zola to accompany them to Nohr; refusing to place his trust in Zola, he makes it a point to remind the Avatar of the Dark Mage's treacherous attempt to kill both them and Sakura previously. Despite this, Takumi is known to be rather amiable and friendly towards those who have gained his trust. This fact is best proven through his supports with Leo, where he initially treats the latter with cold arrogance, only warming up to him upon learning that they share similar aspirations. Despite his possible hate and distrust towards Nohr and its people, he has been shown to have an interest in their culture and history. This is shown in his supports with Elise, where she offers some books about Nohr and he seems relatively intrigued to read them.
Takumi has an interest in shogi, a fact that is mentioned during a conversation shared between him and Leo and one between Hisame and Kiragi. In Leo's case, their interests are almost the same; Takumi's interest in shogi mirrors Leo's interest in chess, while his partiality for miso soup mirrors Leo's love for beef stew. He is also skilled with the katana, as shown with his supports with Hinata and Hana.
Takumi is said to have the worst dreams out of everyone in the army. This is most evident in his S-Support with Azura, where he has a nightmare about Queen Mikoto's death. His birthday is December 14.
"I heard you can't fight, so you can count on me...no matter what some people say behind my back."
"Heh. Nice to see that you're really taking an interest."
"Die already!"
"I'll shoot you down!"
"You'll never hit this target!"
"Oh, that's it!"
Youngest Princess of Hoshido and voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker.
Shy and timid by nature, Sakura is very polite to others but is prone to stuttering during her conversations, a fact that becomes especially prominent when she is nervous. She tends to be very easily intimidated when confronted with unfamiliar situations existing outside her comfort zone. These traits of hers particularly stand out when she is compared alongside her older siblings, all of whom are relatively more confident, self-assured and sanguine. Complementing her shy demeanor is a heart of compassion and kindness, a fact that has led to her devoting her life towards the cause of providing healing aid to others in order to alleviate their suffering.
Hidden beneath the folds of Sakura's meekness is a strong will, one that emerges when she is tried by situations that threaten to endanger the lives of her loved ones. This fact is best exemplified through her actions in Chapter 25 on the Birthright route, where she stops Iago from ruining Azura's song to free Takumi from his spells and in Chapter 22 on the Conquest route; although she clearly possesses a disdain for warfare and harbors no desire to attack her sibling, she resolves to personally take up arms against them nevertheless for the sake of defending her homeland from their invasion.
She is the best at healing out of everyone in the army. Her birthday is April 9.
"I'm pretty fond of sweets. If you see any sweetshops around, please, let me know right away!"
"You've made me stronger? Thank you so much!"
"Please, take care!" (healing)
"I'll do my best for you!" (healing)
"It's all me!"
"Don't come any closer!"
"Excuse me!"
"Sorry about this!"
Crown Prince of Nohr and voiced by David Stanbra
As the direct successor to the throne of Nohr, Xander was raised to wear the crown. As such, he expresses complete patriotism to his country, cutting down all who stand in the way of Nohr's prosperity and well-being. Any order of King Garon given to him is completed with utmost perfection, even when Xander may not completely agree with its intentions, believing that all are done for the sake of bringing glory to Nohr. He does not tolerate any traitors from Nohr, and is willing to kill them, including the Avatar, and his half-sister Camilla in the Revelation Route. This devotion of Xander's is double-layered, however; beneath his apparent belief that Garon's involvement in the war is for the sake of Nohr's future, he also holds a stalwart belief that the king will revert to being the loving father he once was once the war ends in his favor. So strong is this belief of his, Xander has thus proven to be obstinate and intractable in having his opinion swayed, insisting that solid evidence must be presented to prove that Garon's change is permanent.
This naive belief of Xander's in turn suggests at a tender side that he is defined by, especially one that is displayed to both his siblings and his own sons. Despite appearing too busy to get to know his siblings well, he shows Camilla how much he knows about his four siblings in their support together including a surprising wealth of small tidbits of their habits. His love for his siblings often provides the catalyst to disobey his father's orders, such as sending the Avatar help on their mission in Conquest to quell the Ice Tribe rebellion despite the fact that Garon had ordered them to complete it alone. However, at other times his sense of duty may overrule his own familial sentiments, as he tearfully continued his duel with the Avatar in Birthright even though he had just accidentally killed Elise moments before. Despite knowing that the Avatar is not his true sibling, he nevertheless has always seen them as such, usually and affectionately calling them "Little Prince/Princess." This tender side is usually kept under tight wraps, as Xander considers open displays of affection to be unbecoming of his position as the crown prince, as shown in Felicia's supports, where Xander himself comments on how his title and responsibilities have come to define him so much that even when in private he cannot shed the mantle, while Nyx's highlights that he put loyalty to his kingdom over his personal feelings for so long that doing so is reflexive at this point.
Like his younger half-siblings Camilla and Leo, Xander does care very much for his step-sister, Azura and wanted to spend more time with her. In his support for Azura, he offered her attend meeting with him regularly even though he is aware of Azura's mistreatment by the Nohrians and having dinner to be served. In Warriors support, Xander always think Azura as a younger sister. He always talk sincerely to her and felt like he lost his own family member when Azura was kidnapped by the Hoshidans.
Xander dislikes and distrusts his father's retainers Iago, Hans and Zola for their actions as much as his younger half-siblings does. He arrested Hans and sentenced him to prison until Garon liberated him for his own "good". Despite it, Xander still remained suspicious on Hans. He also threatens to kill Iago if he and Hans didn't stop killing the surrendered Hoshidan soldiers, before being cut off by Garon. When Iago attempts to kill the Avatar for sparing Hinoka, Xander steps in and, along with the Nohrian royals, vows to kill Iago and be rid of him for his cruel, disgraceful, and cowardly ways, and shows no hesitation when Leo executes Iago.
Xander has also been depicted multiple times in supports as a humble person who delights in bringing happiness to others without inviting any attention to himself. This fact extends to situations when it is blatantly obvious that he is responsible for the happiness experienced by others, where he will take the pains to stage arguments in order to conceal his involvement. In this regard, he is known to have gone so far as to outright deny claims that he has provided aid to others.
In spite of the fact that Xander has been vastly portrayed as a battle-worn individual whose skill with the blade is seemingly unrivaled, his supports with Nyx reveal that contrary to that portrayal, he detests killing and feels immense guilt for having killed so many people, even harboring suicidal thoughts as a result of his actions, leading him to believe justice is an illusion not worth chasing in this world.
As a result, while he has some sense of honor, and believes in a concept of right and wrong, Xander does not seem to think there is any such thing as a truly evil person; just evil acts and whether or not the person is forgivable. This is something reflected in how he trusts Peri with his life just because he has seen her good side, despite her violent mental instability, but is disgusted by Zola's actions in Chapter 18 of Conquest, where he refuses to win the war by killing the Hoshidan royals while they are unarmed.
The bond of trust between Xander and his retainers is one that evidently transcends the classic master-servant relationship, where he instead regards them as dear companions. This fact is best evidenced through Chapter 26 on the Birthright route, where he becomes fraught with worry and agitation when his retainers outright disobey his orders to save themselves from needless sacrifice.
As a parallel to Camilla’s role of being a mother figure, Xander is often depicted, albeit more subtly, as a fatherly figure in his interactions with others, even those beyond the realm of his family. His support interactions with others often portray him as a mature, dependable figure with extensive life experiences, and is eager to help others about their issues. For notable examples, as seen in his support with Sakura, he cites his experience of being a shy, introverted child who has trouble socializing with others as the source of his empathy for her, and displays willingness to be her practice partner in speaking so as to help Sakura overcome her social anxiety. Furthermore, his dynamic with Takumi in their mutual support (available in Fire Emblem Warriors) is presented in a similar fashion; in which he approaches a restlessly training Takumi and expresses genuine concern over the younger prince’s health, telling him that his strict training regimen is detrimental to his personal growth in the long run. In an attempt to urge Takumi to drop this habit, Xander informs Takumi that he, too, used to be a stubborn teenager who trained excessively with little concern of his own being. However, he then realized his training regimen was in fact useless, as it resulted in him being bed-ridden as much as the time he spent for actual training. When it is clear Takumi is not ready to accept new changes to his training method, Xander then elects himself to be Takumi’s training supervisor so that he doesn’t commit the same mistakes as Xander’s younger self did.
Although an accomplished military figure, and possessing a certain degree of self-respect, he is often shown to be deeply unsatisfied about his ability. As a result, he comes across as an overachieving perfectionist, notably from his support with Marth where it is revealed he heavily monitors and keeps a record of his combat performance after every battle in order to improve himself. This tendency is not exclusive to war-related matters, as even in non-serious situations such as cooking (in the My Castle game mechanics), he still displays a strong desire to carry out his tasks as best as he can, and will wholeheartedly commit to them throughout the entire process. In addition, his support with Takumi suggests that this character trait of his existed as far as since he was young; in his younger days, he was extremely dedicated in his training to the point where he would fall ill.
This never-ending obsession to improve himself is an effect of not being a natural talent, a fact alluded to in his support conversation with Sakura, and admitted by himself in his support with Frederick. He reveals that due to not born gifted, he had always been extremely diligent and serious in learning things or training so as to make himself competent. Furthermore, despite respecting Marth’s opinion that he is indeed already very skilled and absolutely needs no further improvement, he disagrees and still firmly believes that he is not good enough.
Xander is said to have the best handwriting out of everyone in the army. His birthday is October 27.
"You always look very busy. Remember to mind your limits. Stay safe and healthy."
"My gratitude. Still, as a future king, I must strive higher."
"Right where I want you!"
"Down on your knees!"
"Prepare yourself!"
"You're going home, in pieces!"
Eldest Princess of Nohr, voiced by Paula Tiso and Misty Lee.
Camilla's most notable trait is her strong motherly instincts, ones that are very specifically directed towards the Avatar. To this end, however, the maternal role that she plays in the Avatar's life has been portrayed as one that is rather excessive to the point of being uncomfortable at various junctures by even members of other armies. Through Camilla's interactions with the Avatar, it can be observed that she completely disregards the fact that they are an adult, choosing instead to treat them as one would a child. The language register she employs, for one, is remarkably juvenile and is commonly reserved for speaking to adolescents. Camilla's actions also prove this fact, as she constantly makes it a point to identify discomforts that the Avatar may not necessarily be experiencing in a bid to offer them her assistance. In this regard, she has been known to threaten death upon people whom she perceives will bring the Avatar grief.
Such behavior does have a reason, as many of her supports shows that Camilla's nature comes from the horrible experiences from her past and lack of maternal love in her life, admitting to Niles when he confronts her about such things, explaining her overprotective, smothering attitude towards the Avatar is because she knows what it's like to be alone, and doesn't want the Avatar to ever feel what she felt growing up. But it doesn't mean her fawning is entirely reserved for the Avatar alone; she is known to treat her younger siblings as if they were her children, although at a level that is not intense as the one that she adopts in her treatment of the Avatar. Her supports with Leo is a case in point, where she, despite acknowledging his battle prowess, refers to him as her beloved "baby brother".
It is through this same set of supports that Camilla can also be observed to be an individual who is rather shrewd in the observations that she makes of others. Her A support with Leo reveals that she has, despite his insecure rant, closely observed the fervor with which he has worked and trained both his mind and body. This observation made by Camilla in turn points towards the fact that she is a family-oriented person, one who values the maintenance of a strong relationship with the people whom she recognizes as her family. In Revelation chapter, like Xander and Leo, Camilla recognized Azura to be her adorable sister and wanted to spend time with her as she and her half-brothers never forgotten about her despite of her mistreatment by the Nohrians' nobility.
Camilla adopts a completely different persona when she interacts with others, where she is portrayed as a figure of maturity and elegance. Her supports with a variety of different characters stand as testament to this fact, where she is known to adopt a language register that is formal and polite, befitting a member of the Nohrian royal family. Through her supports with Laslow, for one, she responds to his quips with a gentle politeness in spite of her awareness of his philandering ways and them broaching subjects of a morbid nature.
Camilla has also been depicted as ruthless and bloodthirsty on the battlefield, deriving disturbing joy from striking down her enemies with wild abandon. While she is not without the capacity to show mercy to her foes, Camilla usually only does so on the behest of the Avatar. In Conquest, she is particularly cruel to Hinoka, mocking the fact that the Avatar is fighting for the Nohrian army and has, essentially, chosen her over Hinoka. However, while she may have different desires than the Avatar in dealing with the defeated Hoshidan siblings, she nevertheless respects the Avatar's choice to spare them, warning Hinoka to accept the Avatar's mercy (or else she will cut her down); plus she personally tells Hinoka that Sakura is alive, to make sure that she will get to safety (under the premise of seeing Sakura again when the war is over). Plus in Revelation, she shows a quite kinder disposition towards Hinoka, seeking to approach and look for ways to connect with her rather than antagonizing her like in Conquest.
Last but not least, Camilla also shows hatred towards Iago, distrusting for being cruel and attempting to kill the Avatar many times and she along with the siblings defend them against Iago, and she is pleased when Leo executes Iago, knowing he will not bring harm towards the Avatar.
Camilla is known to enjoy bathing the most (including hot springs and spa treatments). Her birthday is November 30.
"How sweet of you to look in on me. If ever you get tired after battle, come rest your weary head in my lap."
"What's this? You must be growing fond of me."
"Time to play!"
"You've been naughty!"
"Sweet dreams!"
"Say night-night!"
Younger Prince of Nohr and voiced by Max Mittleman.
Leo is portrayed as a character who possesses a keen intellect, one that he devotes towards the study of magic and strategy. In this regard, he is known to be diligent and hardworking in honing his expertise to a fine, sharp edge, to the point where he is widely regarded as a genius who is more than capable of flawlessly handling any difficult situation. Further complementing this facet of Leo's personality is the cold demeanour of calm that he assumes, one that he resolutely maintains even in the face of trying situations.
Beneath this exterior of perfection that Leo exudes, however, is a deep-seated inferiority complex that is specifically directed towards the Avatar. This inferiority complex is not one that takes its roots from the Avatar being his intellectual superior, stemming instead from the fact that they receive far more attention from Xander and Camilla than he does. This dimension of Leo's character is unveiled through his supports with the Avatar, where he, while in the midst of tutoring them in the art of strategy, reveals his jealousy of the Avatar having received far more attention than he has from both Xander and Camilla.
Like his half-sisters Camilla and Elise, Leo hates his own mother as she never loved him and even using him as a tool in order to gain his father's favor during the Concubine Wars. In his A-support with his half-sister Elise, he stated that his mother never loved him and considered him as her instrument and lever. In return, he held nothing but hatred & contempt toward her.
Leo has shown that he truly cares for his elder step-sister, Azura as much as Xander and Camilla do. In his supports with Azura, Leo admires Azura's song. He apologizes to Azura, stating that her singing entranced him, as he had never heard music like that before. Leo is also aware of the stories about the Nohrians' mistreatment towards both her and her mother, Queen Arete.
In spite of him being recognised as an intellectual genius, Leo is not blinded by his reputation to the point of arrogance and pomposity. He is instead known to treat the people whom he engages with the utmost respect and civility, a fact that helps him to cultivate strong relationships with relative ease. His supports with Mozu prove this point, where he, in response to her woefully commenting that she is not the right person to turn to for strategy advice, kindly informs her that different people possess different strengths and outlooks that help make them who they are.
Leo has also been portrayed to be quite the romantic, capable of capturing the heart of the lady whom he has fallen in love with. This fact can be observed throughout his S-Supports, where he is shown to refrain from being too forceful in his attempt to convince the person he loves to accept him, choosing instead to adopt a slow, yet steady approach to prove the sincerity of his heart. Leo's S-Support with Nyx stands as a good example to prove this fact; in this support, he gently melts away the chronic insecurities that she harbors of being trapped in the body of a child by urging her to envision herself as an adult before carefully getting her to imagine him as her spouse. In doing so, he succeeds in convincing Nyx of the sincerity of his love, following up his feelings with a proposal.
Leo hates his father's retainers Iago, Hans and Zola just as his half-siblings do. In Birthright and Conquest, Leo personally executes Iago for attempting to kill the Avatar many times and for attempting to save his skin by begging for mercy. In Revelation, when Zola attempted to escape by taking princess Sakura as a hostage, Leo immediately executed Zola for his cowardly actions of taking a princess hostage.
Leo is known to be ruthless in his treatment of those whom he has developed a tremendous disdain for. This is supported in both the Birthright and Conquest routes with Iago, where he is sick of Iago's pitiful attempts for mercy and promptly executes him.
Leo is said to like tomatoes the most out of everyone in the army. His birthday is June 30.
"Good work with the patrols. It seems that the Order of Heroes keeps you on your toes. Let me know if I can help."
"You have my gratitude for giving me more power."
"You can't hide from me."
"To ashes with you!"
"Contemptible fool."
"May darkness clean you."
Younger Princess of Nohr and voiced by Natalie Lander.
The youngest of the Nohrian siblings, Elise's personality is defined by a pronounced lack of jadedness or cynicism, and is instead imbued with traits that are common to a child: juvenile, innocent and pure. Tenderly loving her siblings, she does not hesitate to be generous in her displays of affection for them, which is particularly pronounced in her treatment of the Avatar; right when she is first introduced in Chapter 1, she hurls herself into their arms and tightly embraces them in response to their professing their love for her. Yet another example illustrating this fact is that of her choice to dye specific strands of her hair purple in order to match the hair color sported by Camilla. Elise became extremely close to the Avatar despite the fact that they are an adopted sibling, and she truly sees the Avatar as an integral part of the family.
Despite her childish antics, Elise is known to be immensely astute in her observations of the situations that she finds herself involved in, adeptly adjusting her behavior to suit the occasion. Despite her often childish mannerisms and behaviors, Elise has demonstrated herself to be strongly selfless and courageous in the face of danger. She expresses her kindness to everyone, including enemies. This is shown in Conquest where she finds common ground with Sakura and tries to cheer her up, and in a support with Xander, where she heals pirates that had been captured when they raided a port town. She is also one of few female characters in S supports who consistently and proactively ask for her love interest's hand in marriage.
Like Camilla and Leo, Elise has no love for her mother, who showed no love for Elise and even used her as a tool in order to gain favor with King Garon. Elise remembers that her mother only cared about King Garon, even in her final moments.
Like all of her half-sibilings, Elise despises all of her father's retainers Iago, Hans and Zola. When Iago attempts to kill the Avatar for sparing Hinoka, Elise steps in and, along with the Nohrian royals, stands up to him by vows to kill Iago and be rid of him for his cruel, disgraceful, and cowardly ways, and for being mean and attempting to kill the Avatar many times and becomes grateful when Leo executes Iago, knowing he will not harm the Avatar any longer.
Unlike her half-siblings, Elise doesn't know much about Azura when she was born. She learned from many Nohrian residents that Azura was the princess of Nohr which makes her as Elise's elder step-sister and encourage her to play around with her. In her support with Azura, she tries to get close to her, only for Azura to turn her down, which causes Elise to push her to play with her, in which she accidentally mentions Sakura, causing Elise to be sad and mad at her, thinking she prefers Sakura as her sister over her and Azura attempts to fix this, knowing that she didn't mean to hurt her feelings. They make amends later when Azura gives her the kimono Mikoto gave her before her death.
Through her supports with Sakura, it is revealed that Elise is proficient at playing the violin, a fact that later sees the pair strengthening their friendship by performing duets alongside Sakura's koto. Her birthday is March 19.
"Let's sneak off sometime to explore the town! I used to do that all the time back home - but don't tell my brothers!"
"Yay! Now I'll sparkle even more!"
"Glad to help!"
"Go team!"
"Take your punishment."
"No more holding back."
"Ah, how dare you!"
"Leave everything to me!"
As if I'd forget about Azura. This mysterious Princess is voiced by Rena Strober.
Due to the heavy rejection, bullying, and discrimination she faced in her time as a princess in Nohr, and the distrust from some of the people in Hoshido due to said Nohrian ties, Azura developed a reserved and stoic personality, sprouting from her fear of provocation and rejection, only opening up to people she is close to. This stoicism can sometimes cause her to hurt others' feelings without meaning to, like in her support with Elise and though via bluntness rather than naiveté, as she is not afraid of telling someone what she thinks of them. She is well aware of these things, as she does not want this happening to her children, if she is married, and wants them to stay the way they are, rather than have them grow up like her.
When she does open up, she proves to have quite the mischievous side, as seen when she teases Sakura by scaring her with ghost stories. In her support with Elise, she tries to get close to her, only for Azura to turn her down, which causes Elise to push her to play with her, in which she accidentally mentions Sakura, causing Elise to be sad and mad at her, and Azura attempts to fix this, knowing that she didn't mean to hurt her feelings. Despite that, she is never cruel and tries to help those she criticizes overcome a flaw or problem by pointing it out to them.
Azura feels guilty that she received the love from the Hoshidan people and the royal siblings that rightfully belonged to the Avatar. This is stated directly to the Avatar as well as through her supports with Hinoka and Ryoma where she tells them that they no longer need to love her now that their rightful sibling has returned to them. However, both have expressed that their familial love for her has always been real and regardless of her true origins, she is still their sister. While she still feels guilty, she becomes much less hard on herself as a result.
When she reunites with her step-siblings, she learns that all of them (except for Elise before she was born) still care about her and have never forgotten about her despite the other Nohrians' mistreatment toward her. In Revelation chapter 12, Azura appreciates when Camilla referred to her as her adorable sister. In her support with Xander, he allowed her to meet with them regularly and eat with them. In her support with Leo, she is caught by Leo while she's singing, which he calls a lovely melody and Azura attempted to forget her time in Nohr, with Leo having heard stories about how she and her mother were mistreated. In her support with Xander in Warriors, she appreciates when he always acknowledges her as his younger sister and even felt when he lost his own family member as she was kidnapped by the Hoshidans.
Although she can get slightly emotional at times, Azura is kindhearted and surprisingly knowledgeable about many things, some of which others would not know about. This is namely information of Valla, her unique ability to manipulate water through the use of her necklace and a brief history about dragons and degeneration from her mother. Although she is more cynical and world-weary than the Avatar, she shares their conviction in trying to make the world a better place and wanting to be with the Avatar until the very end of the path to see peace. Normally neat and tidy, she has the worst cases of bed hair in the army and is a restless sleeper. She also has a weakness for cute things and enjoys telling scary stories.
"You'll often find me singing. I hope you like songs. They convey truth in ways that the written word cannot."
"My heart swells in thanks. I will give you my all!"
"Time for your final bow!"
"You're finished!"
"Now for a showstopper!"
"Let's cut this short!"
