@sterlingcbeardHey there! If you'd like to see my work in action, you can find a few samples in a playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwbVQ7Zff05jso0NxzQEVMmymeqYooIwP
Hi there! My name is Sterling and I'm a voice actor.
My recent major voiceover projects include:
Skyrim: Bard's College (Peras)
Sim Settlements 2: Chapter 3 (Jeremiah Glatton)
Sim Settlements 2: Chapter 2 (Courier)
Fallout: The Frontier (Alexander Warren, Dahmer, et al)
The War of the Worlds (Cpt. Lansing, Operator Four, et al)
Skywind (Larrius Varro)
I'm coming to voice acting from the stage, specifically my musicals hobby. My singing voice is in the baritenor range (medium-low to medium-high), specifically F#2-F#5. Since 2005, I've acted in 20 productions, including:
Something Rotten! (Nick Bottom)
Disney's Beauty & the Beast (Beast)
Pippin (Lewis)
Nice Work If You Can Get It (Duke)
The Wedding Singer (Sammy)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (St. Aphrodisius)
Curtains (Harv Fremont)
Hairspray (Corny Collins)
The Producers (Jason Green)
Jekyll & Hyde (John Utterson)
Nate Plummer has been my acting and vocal coach since 2017. I work with him on a weekly basis.
During early COVID, I studied commercial voiceover with Craig Klein from the Theatre Lab in Washington, D.C. Coursework with Craig involved commercial voiceover, documentary narration, and video game voice acting.
While earning my BA in history from Dartmouth College, I minored in theater, specifically taking classes from Profs. Carol Dunne and Peter Hackett.

This is ridiculously overdue, and hopefully not too late. I want to begin this by saying that you want to hire this man for your projects. He is professional, hard working, driven, and most importantly talented actor. He provided me with excellent lines and content when I was in desperate need of someone to voice an essential character in my audio drama I was creating for class. His performance really added that special something to my project hat changed it from, not only a project/passion project, to a seriously legitimate piece of media. For that, all I can do is tell anyone who reads this to seriously consider using Sterling in their project. Because you want him.

@voxridian
Sterling has been a reoccurring voice actor for my projects, and time and time again he's produced amazing recordings for my works. He is very easy to work with, very cordial and very on time. He's very fun with delivering lines, sometimes even giving me extra recordings to give me a laugh and embellish on the project we are working on (which usually ends up making it into the final product), while also being professional regarding delivery and schedules. He's very versatile, aiding me in filling in various roles with ease and getting the lines delivered in a way that suits the direction given. After working with Sterling over the last few months, I have come to really appreciate his involvement in my works, and I hope to continue working with him for a long time to come. So if you are looking for a voice actor to fit a witty, sarcastic intellectual, a gentle muscle-head, or just an all-round good guy, Sterling C. Beard is your man.

Sterling was an absolute delight to have on our project! His submissions were stellar across the board, he was incredibly punctual and professional, and the delivered lines were top-quality-- exactly what we were looking for, top to bottom. Do yourself a favor and hire this man for your next project, you won't be disappointed!

Sterling recently joined an animated project that I am working on. He was flexible, a great communicator,
and on top of that, he's an incredibly talented voice actor! He took the characters and made them his own, bringing life to the script and project. I highly recommend him, both for his skill, and the fact that it is a joy to collaborate with him!

Sterling is proving some additional voices for my webcomic Paladins. He gave a great performance, delivered the audio promptly and in good quality. He took direction well and was friendly and easy to work with during our live session. I look forward to working with him again!
