Ben 10 - Summer Ends is a fan-made, short film and finale to the popular show Ben 10, made entirely in Minecraft's engine using the popular animation mod Blockbuster by McHorse. However, it can also be considered the beginning, because depending on its success, a fan-made sequel series to the Original Series could be a possibility with paid opportunities for voice actors, editors, and more.
The synopsis is "Ben Tennyson, along with Grandpa Max and his cousin Gwen Tennyson, are returning from their summer road trip. After discovering the Omnitrix, Ben was given the ability to transform into different alien species. With this power, he's saved the world countless times, but their adventure is coming to a close and Max has to take Ben and Gwen home. Unfortunately, some old enemies get in the way of their trip back home."
Requirements:
- Discord for communication
- A quality mic or the ability to improve your audition with audio editing (i.e. noise removal, EQ, deesser, etc)
- Once casted, you will need to submit your lines in .wav format

First of all, thanks to everyone for the amazing auditions so far! I'm confident from looking at the auditions, and how many we've got in such a short amount of time, that we can safely move up the deadline!
I am very eager to record and I'm sure everyone's eager for the process as well! But please, if you're interested in auditioning and you haven't yet, submit your audition before May 30th!
As for the applicants, I strongly recommend to audition for whatever other role you're interested! This way you can increase your chances of being in the film!

Description: If you've watched the show, you should know that Ben in the original series is obnoxious, smug, likes to be the center of attention, and loves making jokes and picking fights with people. However, he is also noble, confident, heroic, and serious. While not the case at first, his negative traits were are all amplified to hide how emotionally traumatized he is, because he was just a 10 year old kid who had to save the world 100 times.
Voice Type: Middle Pitch or Mid-High Pitch
(bickering) What’s that Gwen? I can’t hear you with your nose stuck in your book
(sarcastic) Another Omnitrix talk? I'm not gonna go Heatblast and take on J.T. and Cash at school, you know.
(serious, reflecting) Yeah, but school just feels like this huge challenge, way bigger than any alien I've faced! It feels like nothing will ever be normal again.
Description: Gwen Tennyson is an intelligent book worm who cares a lot about school, staying organized, and her future. Thanks to stealing Charmcaster's spell book, she's able to conjure spells herself. Her cousin, Ben, gets on her nerves and the two will often bicker with each other at this young age. Sometimes, she'll not even try and just be fed up or annoyed with his antics. I guess you could say they have somewhat of a cousin rivalry. However, she still cares about him and relies on him for a lot.
Voice Type: Mid-High Pitch
(bickering) Maybe you should try it. You could learn something… (annoyed at Ben for putting feet on table) Like table-manners!
(sighs) It’s never too late to get ahead, dweeb. (snarky) Not like you would know anything about that.
(desperate, upset) Ben! Ben, help! He’s not moving!
Ben and Gwen's caring, funny grandpa. He used to work for an organization that protected the world against alien threats, but retired due to aliens no longer being a threat. That was until Ben found the Omnitrix. Max is confident and brave as he'll fight for his grandchildren whenever they're in danger. He's capable of giving some very encouraging, inspiring speeches for both his grandchildren when they need it. He's also responsible for mediating and breaking up a lot of Gwen and Ben's arguments.

(serious) Listen, you two, things are going to be a lot different from now on. Especially for you, Ben.
(inspiring) About our talk earlier, the Omnitrix doesn't make you face everything alone. We're always by your side, supporting you. That’s what family is for.
(cheerful) Morning, Ben! Breakfast is ready if you’re hungry!
Description: Four Arms is just an alien that Ben can transform into, so refer to Ben's audition description for personality traits. However, Ben does try to put on a more macho vibe when it comes to Four Arms so also consider that as well in your audition.
Voice Type: Mid-Low Pitch, Gravelly, Rough

(witty) Did you forget? (sounding out) “Four arms”?

This character will have a metallic, robotic filter over the voice to make him sound like he's cybernetically enhanced. So, I encourage VAs to submit their auditions with that effect in mind.
Description: Kraab was one of three alien bounty hunter sent by Vilgax to retrieve the Omnitrix. Kraab has a personal grudge against Ben for being defeated by him before, but this time Kraab is more calculated and prepared as he's under new orders to kill Ben to get the Omnitrix. Kraab should sound menacing, intelligent, serious, and like he has a grudge. He's also very condescending and a lot of his lines where he's mocking Ben should sound as such.
Voice Type: Mid-Low Pitch
(snarky) Tennyson… I’m sorry, but were you going somewhere?
(serious) Did you seriously think the Conqueror would let you live after the humiliation you put him through?
(mocking) What? No last quips for the “Mighty Ben Tennyson”?
Description: Ben's mother, Sandra, doesn't have a huge appearance in the short film, but she will play a bigger role in the future if a series happens. She loves her son despite how much of a troublemaker he can be. She is very warm and very caring.
Note: It's possible that, depending on how good your audition is, you won't need to do any more lines unless there is something I think you can improve on.
