Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hi everyone my name is Alex and this is our casting call for our ARG project. Due to the mystery nature of ARG projects I can't divulge much about the project from a story perspective, but I can say is this will be an ongoing Youtube series to be recorded in 3 batches and released one at a time. The videos will consist of voice over from fake Youtubers in a variety of genres, as well as two scientist characters who will be seen throughout the series.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
Please send the suggested lines for each role you feel you are a good fit for. If you want to include anything else in addition that's great as well. The deadline for auditions is currently January 13th, but may be pushed back a week to the next Monday.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This casting call is part 1 of 3, so if you don't get one of the few roles know there will be more coming up in the future. If you do get one of the scientist roles, there will be more paid work throughout the year, so your availability to record again will be important.
For the two scientist roles a boiler plate NDA will likely be required.

Scientist Micheal's counterpart. He is less outgoing and more reserved, but is far more dedicated and serious. He has few hobbies, dedicating his life to his work to an obsessive degree. He speaks softly in normal conversation but easily gets excited when talking about his work, getting far more intense without raising his voice. Later in the story he gets a bit of a superiority complex.
This role is more prominent later in the story, so there will only be a short dialogue scene to record for now, but there will be more to record once part 2 and 3 go into production.

Yeah... But... but but but lets say its not , but its something our supplier is doing, we need to control for everything, how they harvest the samples, the age and size of the samples…
I was put on this world with just one desire, everything else is secondary. If I have a real shot of making it actually real… I’ll take it. I’m sorry but its what i’m built to do
The role will span from Micheal's optimistic youth to his disillusionment in his middle ages. He talks in a manner that gives weight to his every word, and usually speaks in a tone like he is sharing a secret with the person he is conversing with. His speaking lines are split evenly between monologue and dialogue scenes.
This will be an ongoing role and will be hired again for parts 2 and 3

[Monologue] Still, even after everything, I’m a scientist so I’m pretty good at making educated guesses. I’ve been reading all of the feedback after the last many injections. Hell of a lot of work for one man, but I’m starting to put a few things together, so I’m going to make a guess right now.
[Monologue] I hate that phrase people use, messing with forces beyond our comprehension. I can comprehend what we’ve made just fine. I have the documentation to prove it. I can create more with my bare hands if I didn’t have factories doing it all for me.
[Realizing / Dialogue] Yeah I see where you’re going. So. You usually already have something in mind. If its their fault, what are they fucking up so bad its giving us unusable nonsense?
An economist turned Youtuber who enjoys teaching and talking everything about the economy. He tries to make his videos fun and approachable for general audiences. He has a dry sense of humor and likes to sneak in a few jokes

This is Bengria, a small country home to an impressive 76 million people. It is a country of wild swings, known for explosive growth, explosive recessions, and well, explosions. While it might be insensitive to make light of, the Bengria explosion has made a serious impact, not just on its people, but on its economy as well, and a surpring one at that.
A Youtuber who covers true crimes in gruesome detail in a way that's a bit disrespectful to the real victims of the crime.
He speaks in a very formal authoritarian kind of way, much like a narrator for the twilight zone. He explains both the mundane and the horrifying in the same dramatic and serious tone.

On November 3rd 2030 at the historical museum of science and progress, terror was about to be unleashed on the unwitting patrons. Despite the beautiful blue sky and unseasonably warm weather earlier in the morning, by evening, many would be traumatized, or even dead. The cause of this terrible event? Located on the second floor east wing behind the thick glass of an air tight display cage, was this seemingly innocent teddy bear. You are watching Scarier Than Fiction, and as always, viewer discretion is advised.
