(Before you guys start auditioning, read this)
Heya, folks!
So, as you guys may know, I've been working on a Sonic project. The name of it is Chaos Academy. It is currently 2 years old now, happy birthday lol. Now, why am I saying this, some of you are asking? Because I've been taking a good peek at this casting call and realized something... I have changed the story up so much since it's conception and that got me thinking...
HOW ABOUT I MAKE A COMPLETE OVERHAUL OF THE PROJECT?????
That's right, guys. I decided I want to completely, and I mean completely remake this casting call from start to finish, and the first thing I should do, is mention the roles that have already been cast and the roles that will sadly have to be closed for good. Now first off, the cast roles:

Maria the Hedgehog (the first iteration of her was kinda silly, buttttt maybe just maybe, I could do something about it)
Whisper the Wolf, Nicole the Holo-Lynx and the Slimeblugs (I don't what the f### I was thinking with that name though man.)
The reason for them being removed is simply due to the fact that they just don't fit the story.. yet. And it's sad because some people genuinely wanted them to be in this project. However, this is a good thing, as I've included plenty more characters that fit with the overall tone of this new story. And, while I won't show them off here, you guys will definitely have a good time with them once they're in action. Also, once I have all my consistent artwork in one place, I will def show it off here as you can definitely see that the artwork is really inconsistent.
But that should be it, guys! This project will be further updated soon with the new characters I have in mind. But until then, see ya on the flipside and I hope I did not disappoint anyone. Ok, see yaaaaaaaa!

Just so you guys know, the series is getting a complete story overhaul which means some characters have been removed and will be replaced with new characters.
The deadline has also been extended to mid 2025 for more auditions.

Cream is the main character of this fan-series, being a 12 year-old anthropomorphic rabbit with a sweet loving attitude, and a passion for making friends. Having a caring heart for her friend, a chao named Cheese, she's willing to make anyone smile.
Give me your best voice. Make sure that it sounds a little bit like Rebecca Honig, Cream's voice actress.

Chao are creatures that exist within the Sonic universe. The most prominent Chao that exist within the series are Cheese, Chocola, Hero Chao, Dark Chao, and Angel Chao among many others. This role is just to simply voice all variety of Chao, as there will be a bunch of Chao in this series. Yeesh, said Chao a lot there.

Character Bio:
Vanilla the Rabbit is a character who debuted within the 2002 video game, Sonic Advance 2. She is an anthropomorphic rabbit and the mother of Cream the Rabbit. For a time, she was separated from her daughter, but was eventually reunited with her after being saved by Sonic the Hedgehog. She resides with her daughter and their robotic assistant, Gemerl in their lovely home within the Floral Forest Village.
Vocal Direction:
Now, for the vocal direction it really seems like Vanilla doesn't have a lot to go off of. Her one and only voice actress within the American localization of any Sonic media is Sonic X, where she is portrayed by actress Rebecca Honig, who also voiced Cream the Rabbit and even Maria Robotnik for the 2000s era Sonic games. Her voice is a lot more reminiscent of Cream's, being rather soft and kinda squeaky, while also being a slight bit deeper due to her being much older than her daughter. Considering in this project that she's over 30, the choice of a deeper rendition of Honig's vocal portrayal would suit her perfectly. However, if this doesn't work, then you can simply come up with something completely original (or you could go for something similar to Michelle Ruff) and I'll see if it fits.
The custom test lines will be taken from Sonic X, the Archie comics, and the IDW comics.
They will not be in any order. There will only be three lines for each.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a title character and the main protagonist of the video game series of the same name published by Sega, and appears in numerous spin-off comics, animations, and other media. He is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds and curl into a ball, primarily to attack enemies. In most games, Sonic must race through levels, collecting power-up rings and avoiding obstacles and enemies.
Voice Direction: Now, for the voice direction, there is a select few of voice actors to choose from for the preference of Sonic's more matured state in this series. If you could, try to make your voice somewhat similar to Ryan Drummond, or Jason Griffith's voice directions for the blue blur. You could even go for the much deeper voice direction of Roger Craig Smith in Sonic Frontiers. Or, if you wish, come up with your own original preference and I'll see if it's the right choice for him or not.

Sonic Unleashed Lines: Well, this is new. Showing remorse, Eggman? If you played nice, I wouldn't have to break all your toys. Woah! This guy's tough! What's a guy gotta eat to get that big?! Here we... GO! Whoo, feeling good!
Sonic Frontiers Lines (SPOILERS): Careful, where's the fun in that? Never a dull moment with you. It varies. Sometimes it's a spinning sign, sometimes it's a big ol' ring. He took your home world. He took your LIVES. Are you going to let him do it all over again? I need your help. We can end this. Please.

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, is a fictional character in Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog series. Tails also appears in his own spin-off series, comic books, cartoons, and films. He is the second character to consistently appear by Sonic's side in the series. The name "Miles Prower" is a pun on "miles per hour", a reference to the famed speed of Sonic the Hedgehog. He is a two-tailed fox, hence the nickname.
Vocal direction: Now for the vocal direction, there are a few select voice actors I could go with. Those being Amy Palant, who voiced him from Sonic X to Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, Kate Higgins, who voiced him from Sonic Free Riders to Sonic Lost World, Colleen O’Shaughnessy, the current voice actress for Tails, voicing him from Sonic Boom all the way to Sonic X Shadow Generations. The final would be Ashleigh Bell, who voiced him, as well as Nine, an iteration of Tails, in Sonic Prime. Sonic Adventure 1-2 Lines: Everything's working great! All systems go... Full speed ahead! Uh oh! What's this? Nooooooooo! Aaaaggg...! I'm outta control! Mayday! Mayday! Goin' down! Aaaaggg...! Look out below! I’m the one who should be asking that question! Don’t you know it’s dangerous here? Again? Ok, you stay here and I’ll be right back! But how did he manage to harness all of that energy? The Chaos Emeralds are like magnets… they have the power to attract each other. If I can use that to find where Eggman is. Got it! For some reason, I’m not getting a signal from the six remaining Chaos Emeralds. So… how did you know it wasn’t the real one? Sonic… Sonic has asked me for the first time to do something for him. I won’t let him down. I won’t give up! Sonic, I did it.
Sonic Frontiers Lines (SPOILERS): We’re coming up on the Starfall Islands. Whoa! There’s some kind of atmospheric charge! Hang on! Sonic! The spatial anomaly that affected us seems to have left me in a digitized state. But those same energies are manifesting into some worrisome mutations for you. I’m saying I’m fine, you’re not and I’m worried. You’re always rescuing me, and… Let’s focus on the now. What do you need? I’m on it! Yeah… and? Of course. I’ll admit he isn’t perfect, but Sonic has overcome impossible odds over and over again. I know he’ll save us all. It’s not a matter of faith. I’ve got a lifetime of data to back up my observations. Sonic… am I a burden to you? Whenever there’s a crisis, I’m either running away or standing on the sidelines! You’re always rescuing me when all I do is follow you around! I… then I’m wildly inconsistent! When did you get so insightful? They say the bridge is out. They say this was the last of the defensive measures.
Sonic Prime Lines (SPOILERS): You’re late! Sonic! Sonic, we don’t know what the Prism is capable of. Be careful. Sonic, no! As long as I’m around, you’ll always have a wingman! Heh heh! I don’t need an army when I’ve got a friend like you, Sonic. Nothing could break our friendship, Sonic. What did you just call me? The name’s… NINE!! What do you want? Who sent you? Nine! I have no friends! I was trained by the misery of life and this foul and heartless city. I don’t care what kind of mind games you’re playing, but it won’t work! You saved me? Fabricated stories won’t keep me from beating you back, intruder! How do you know about that? That’s not how it happened... and you weren’t there. I was a kid, minding my business but not minding my surroundings. Some creeps came along and picked on me for having one extra tail. I took a beating. It was the same for years, until I used my cunning fox brain to give me a real way to fight back. I take care of myself and need no one. Period. No one has friends here! Why do you think I live down here? To avoid everyone… you included. So… so what else did you do? I do? You mean the Chaos Council? So, Mr. Doctor Eggman, then? Um, I… I think your shoes are smoldering.
Shadow the Hedgehog is a 21 year old bio hedgehog created by Gerald Robotnik, as the Ultimate Lifeform, created for world peace and happiness, although taught the wrong way by Dr. Eggman. He resembles an opposite of Sonic, having the same speed, but different attitude. Despite looking like an edge lord, Shadow actually keeps a promise to his friend in spirit, Maria Robotnik.
Give me your best voice for this character. Make sure it sounds a lot like David Humphrey or Jason Griffith.

Amy Rose is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a Mobian hedgehog with a major crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has become his self-proclaimed girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.
Vocal direction: For the vocal direction of this character, there are a select few voice actors I could go with for Amy. Those being Jennifer Douillard, who voiced her in the Adventure duoligy, Shuffle, Heroes and in the GBA games. Another would be Lisa Ortiz, who voiced her in early-late 2000s games. Another would be Cindy Robinson, who is the current voice actor for Amy, voicing her since Colors all the way to Frontiers. And you could also go for Shannon Chan-Kent, who voiced her in Sonic Prime. Everyone's trying their best to help out, and so must I! Shadow, we need you! Please help us! There has to be! I know that people fight over the most trivial things. Some people may be selfish, like the professor said... but they're basically good, if they try their best and never give up on their wishes. They always have a reason to be happy; that's why you should help them out! Saving them is a good thing! Shadow, I beg you, please do it for them! Give them a chance!
Sonic Frontiers Lines (SPOILERS): How exciting! Hello? Is someone there? Help me! Sonic, are you all right? I feel fine. But that energy that was holding me prisoner went into you! Well... in that case, we need to get moving. If I was trapped, I'm sure Tails was too! Deal. Be careful. Honestly I don't feel that different since you helped clear my mind. I guess it feels kind of... detached? Have you ever flown around in a dream? Like you're lighter than air? That's what it feels like to me, anyway. I just wish I could finally land and be whole again.
Sonic Prime Lines (SPOILERS): I may be the one who can bring everyone together, but there's only one hedgehog they'll follow into battle. You're late! Sonic! Where have you been? If Eggman wants it, it can't be good. Sonic, no! The forest is the most beautiful place on earth. Why do I feel like Eggman's keeping us off the main stage? Let's go crash his show! And Tails never gets upset.

Rouge the Bat is a fictional character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic bat and jewel thief that has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N). A world-famous treasure hunter, Rouge has a weakness for jewels, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, which she always obsesses about. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight.

Those being Lani Minella, who voiced Rouge from Sonic Adventure 2 to Sonic Battle, Kathleen Delaney, who voiced her from Sonic X to Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Karen Strassman, the current voice actor for Rouge, voicing her since Sonic Free Riders, and last but not least, Kazumi Evans, who voiced her as well as her multiversal iterations in Sonic Prime. I despise anyone who takes jewels from me. All the world’s gems are mine to keep! Do you really think it will be that easy? I’ve got a great idea! How about making a deal? When you grabbed that huge Emerald, you said something about a reaction; a reaction that it may have with the Master Emerald. Now, if you could just let me borrow that radar, I may be able to help you. What do you think? I have an idea where the other Chaos Emeralds may be. I may not look like it, but do you know that I am a treasure hunter that specializes in all kinds of jewels? Okay then, it’s a deal. I don’t think we’ve been introduced. I’m Rouge the Bat. But, you can call me Rouge. Do you really think… that the professor created him, Shadow, to carry out the revenge of all those who live here, on earth? I guess you’re right… Nah, I think I’m gonna give up this line of work. Too much work, for too little pay. Anyway… I’ve got something better than jewels that I’m thinking about right now… …It’ll all work out, you’ll see. This must be it! I’ve found Eggman’s secret treasure! Huh? Hey, hold up! Now I get it… now I know what this is all about. You’re mad at Eggman for sealing you in this room. And you… you can’t remember anything, can you? Then it’s settled. Now you two make up so we can start looking for Eggman, together! Aw yeah, baby, this makes us a team!
Sonic Prime Lines (SPOILERS): You’re late! Don’t mention it. Literally. Sonic, no! You may not like the way I do things, but I get things done! The fox is on to something. He played you for a fool, Blue. Well… I have a hunch. You see, I’ve been searching for years for a super rare and shiny gem called the Paradox Prism. Legend speaks of untold power, and it’s buried deep within the Green Hill bedrock. My guess is that he used your power against you to find it. …You left the door open. He’s fast, powerful, and hates the egg. We gotta follow this guy. When have I ever steered us wrong? Rhetorical question. Loud and clear. On our way.
Character Bio:
Knuckles the Echidna is a character from Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a red anthropomorphic short-beaked echidna who is Sonic's secondary best friend and rival. He is the current guardian of the Master Emerald and the sole surviving descendant of the echidna race from the Knuckles Clan, after his clan had been killed by the God of Destruction, Chaos. He is also very shy when it comes to girls.
For his vocal direction, there are four select voice actors I have that can be used as reference. The first is Scott Dreier, who voiced Knuckles in Sonic Adventure, Shuffle, Adventure 2 and the GBA games. He gave Knuckles this laid-back, chill and distant voice that gradually shifted to something a lot more open. The next is Dan Green, who voiced Knuckles in the 4Kids era of Sonic games, and who has also voiced Mephiles in Sonic the Hedgehog. He gives Knuckles a more broad, fierce voice which makes him sound like someone you don't want to mess with. The next after Green is Dave B. Mitchell, who currently voices him in the games as of right now. His voice is a lot more jock and loud, which makes sense as even if he is a distant echidna, Knuckles always loves himself a good fight. The last voice actor is (and is honestly the best, to be honest) Idris Elba, who voices Knuckles in the Sonic Cinematic Universe, starting with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. His voice makes Knuckles sound incredibly intimidating, he has this hint of gruff, and a little bit of a British accent to go with it. However, as the series goes on and he's adopted by the Wachowskis, his voice comes off as a lot more incompetent. If you can't go with these, however, come up with an original take and if I like it, I'll take it.
The lines will be from Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic X, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 respectively. It won't be in any order.

Sonic Adventure 2 Lines: What are you talking about? That emerald's mine! You got that? The Master Emerald contains special powers that neutralize the energy of the Chaos Emeralds. That makes it very powerful! What the... a-a ghost?
Sonic X Lines: Tails is trying to tell you that we don't want you getting in our way! I did. Because I wasn't too busy partying with the locals. He's late. What's taking Sonic so long? You're late, Sonic! Sonic, why you...
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Lines: Where did you get that? Pitiful. Do I look like I need your power? I was expecting more of you. You're unskilled, untrained, and unworthy! It is my destiny to do what my ancestors could not. To restore the ultimate power to the home of my people. Don't play dumb with me, apprentice of Longclaw. We fought and died at their hands, now you will die at mine!
Tikal is a 3000+ (physically 20) year old anthropomorphic echidna, being one of the only remaining echidnas in their tribe, besides Knuckles. She also helps guard the Master Emerald with him.

Gemerl is a character from Sonic Advance 3. The bot was originally designed by Eggman to stop Sonic and the others, but Tails’ programming made him a more passive creation, and eventually the protector of Cream and Vanilla.
Voice Direction: I don't have one right now, per-say, but go wild with this one. If you can, make sure it sounds more robotic than organic, and use a filter if you want.

Archie Lines: Buddy, what I want is to live peacefully, but you just had to come to my town and cause a fuss. So instead, I'll make you rest in peace! Oh hey! It's you! The ORIGINAL ability-stealer with the identity crisis! Firewood for the next three years coming up, ma'am.
IDW Lines: Request acknowledged. Proceeding to assist village defenses to protect Cream, Vanilla and family. It is too dangerous. You have proven to be very brave already. I will not--cannot--lose you too. I will stay with you until... you are well. Goodbye, Cream. I will be back soon. YOU. HURT. CREAM.
Dr. Ivo Robotnik, or Dr. Eggman is a supporting antagonist for this fan project, and is the main antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Getting his name from his eggy body structure, he's not someone to mess around with. He's a master at some of his skills, especially when it comes to building bots. However, he isn't really the one that wins a lot.

Give me your best voice for this character. Make sure to sound like Mike Pollock, or Deem Bristow.
Orbot is a spherical robotic character who first debuted within the 2008 video game, Sonic Unleashed as SA-55, before getting a complete redesign and name change in the 2010 video game, Sonic Colors. One of Eggman's aide robots, Orbot mainly assists the doctor in his schemes for world domination and makes sure his plans are carried out correctly, with his partner Cubot working alongside him to perform various duties. Serious and intelligent, Orbot is loyal to Eggman.
For his vocal direction, there are two voice actors that could be used as reference. The first is Christopher Collet, who voiced him in Sonic Unleashed, giving him a more emotionless, monotone voice, which makes sense as it highlights his sarcasm in a way where it seems like he genuinely doesn't care about what Eggman does or says. The next is his current voice actor Kirk Thornton, who also is the current voice actor for Shadow the Hedgehog in the series. Character Bio:
Cubot/C0-CK1 (to match with Orbot's name, SA-55) is a cubical robotic character who first debuted within the 2010 video game, Sonic Colors. One of Eggman's aide robots, Cubot mainly assists the doctor in his schemes for world domination and makes sure his plans are carried out correctly, with his partner Orbot working alongside him to perform various duties. Although being very incompetent and illiterate, Cubot is loyal to Eggman.
For his vocal direction, there is only one voice actor that could be used as reference. His name is Wally Wingert, and he gives Cubot a rather goofy voice, highlighting his charm, incompetence and mean spirit in a wonderful bender of expression. However, if this doesn't work out, you can always come up with an original vocal direction and if it works, I'll take it.

Vector the Crocodile is an anthropomorphic crocodile that debuted within the 1995 video game Knuckles' Chaotix. He's the leader of a detective squad known as the Chaotix with his partners, Espio the Chameleon and Charmy Bee (alongside Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel in this AU.) He is shown as the power character in the 2003 video game, Sonic Heroes.
For his vocal direction, there are three voice actors you can use for reference. The first is Marc Biagi, who voiced him in Sonic Heroes. He was the first who gave him the iconic voice we hear today, however it was a little deeper than the rest. The next is Jimmy Zoppi, who voiced him in Sonic X and Shadow the Hedgehog, before leaving 4Kids and getting slightly replaced by Dan Green. And finally, the last is Keith Silverstein, who still voices Vector to this day. If you can capture Vector's money-loving, mystery-solving spirit, then awesome! Originally she was a regular person, but when Dr. Eggman made his first attack on Mobotropolis, Bunnie suffered severe injuries and the only way to save her life was by having parts of her body replaced with cybernetics by Charles the Hedgehog (Uncle Chuck). Since then, she has used her cybernetics to better serve the Freedom Fighters, and together with her friends, she has been fighting the evil forces of the Eggman Empire.

The only one I can think of is a more melancholy take on Gail Webster's voice for Aleena from Sonic Underground. However, if we're talking non-Sonic vocal references, we can also use Cynthia Cranz as a vocal inspiration, who is well-known for being the voice actress for Chi-Chi in Dragon Ball. While Cynthia is known for giving her a voice that's only described as "being incredibly angry and easy to agitate", she does give her moments where Chi-Chi's voice is caring and empathetic. However, if you can't go with any of these, just come up with an original take, and if it fits, I'll take it.

For the vocal direction, there's no Sonic voice actor that comes to mind when I think about Jules. However, that doesn't mean I don't have a voice actor in mind. The man in question is Sonny Strait. Strait is most famously known for being the voice actor to characters Krillin and Bardock in the Dragon Ball series. However, for this character, we're taking more inspiration from Bardock. Bardock is the father of Goku, and while being his father, he is displayed as being rather merciless. Strait awakens his personality very well with his vocal direction, which uses more gruff, a hint of rasp, and a slightly deep voice. It fits well with his behavior in the first TV special he was ever featured in. If you can capture Strait's energy for this character, then awesome! But if not, then an original take would be much appreciated! Ciao!

Honey is an anthropomorphic cat with close-lying light amber fur, a peach muzzle, and long black hair that she keeps in voluminous pigtails. She is based off a character named Candy within the video game, Fighting Vipers, before making her official appearance in the 2012 rerelease of Sonic the Fighters. Honey is upbeat and friendly, but also a determined businesswoman; going to such lengths to join a fighting tournament and hire the Freedom Fighters as modelers in an effort to advertise her products.
For her vocal direction, I don't necessarily have one per-say, so go wild with this one. All I have in mind is that her voice should sound somewhat high, cute, approachable, and of course, nya ig lol. Stay golden!

Mina Mongoose was a character who originated within the Sonic Archie comic series, and its various spin-off series. She was a Mobian mongoose living in New Mobotropolis, who was gifted with super speed shortly before meeting the Freedom Fighters. She was once captured by Dr. Robotnik and rescued by Sonic the Hedgehog. In the Post-Super Genesis Wave, she is now a well-renowned pop/punk star. In this project, however, she is a well-known alternative rock vocalist from a band named M.T.I (placeholder name).
For her vocal direction, I do have two voice actresses/vocalists I have in mind. The first is Elena Siegman, who is surprisingly well-known for her work in Treyarch's Call of Duty series. The reason I have her in mind is because of her overall beautiful singing voice paired with her monstrous screeches and blends of soft and hard rock elements. The next is Lacey Sturm, who is known as the former vocalist for the alternative rock band, Flyleaf. The reasoning for her is the same as Siegman, beautiful singing paired with demonic screeches and wonderful melodies. However, if you can't go with any of these, do something completely original, and if it works, I'll take it.

Tiara is an anthropomorphic Manx cat with orange fur and peach skin. Her eyes are blue, and her brown hair is worn in a ponytail. When it comes to her character in the games, she was originally designed to be Sonic's love interest within the 1996 cancelled game, Sonic X-treme. However, I'm doing something a little different with her in this project. In this story, Tina was just a normal girl in the world of Mobius. The only thing people have known her for was being Sonic's ex-girlfriend before the events of CD. After that, she turned to a life of music and that's where she would meet her girlfriend, Mina Mongoose. Together, her and Mina, along with the rest of their band M.T.I (placeholder name) would tour around the world as she would be the MC (or backup vocalist) of the band.
For her vocal direction, go wild with this one. The only things I have in mind is that she should be at least a little classy, a bit mean-spirited and very sassy. Apart from that, have fun.

Metal Sonic is a supporting antagonist of this fan series, and is the main antagonist of the first act. Being created by Dr. Eggman with the sole purpose of destroying Sonic, the supposed faker, he thinks of himself as superior to others. So much so, that he rejects Eggman altogether.

Mephiles the Dark is the main antagonist of the 2006 platform video game Sonic the Hedgehog, and a major antagonist in the 2024 video game Shadow Generations. He is the other half of an eldritch-like being known as Solaris, with the other half being named Iblis. He is a cold, calculated, and villainous demon, who uses lies and threats to turn people against each other. He is shown to be extremely sadistic and destructive, as he gloats over how Omega will be the one to betray Shadow in the future and takes simple enjoyment over killing Sonic.

He gives Mephiles a voice that's filled to the brim with animosity towards Shadow, as his goal within the game is to restore himself back into the timeline by killing Shadow. The world of Chaos Academy is something that can only be described as "inconsistent". Locations in this series will mainly be either environmental, industrial, and very big in scale. I'll need some artists who can match these requirements:
- Can draw very large landscapes
- Can draw in many different perspectives
- Is overall amazing at lighting (as that's something I can't even learn lol)

The production of Chaos Academy has been really slow (which is my mistake), and the reasoning is mainly because I don't have a lot of artists lol. Storyboarding is essential to any project, and with something as big as a Sonic animated series, storyboarding helps create some incredibly awesome scenes and shots (like seriously, Divergence and the Dark Beginnings are some of the best animations that this series has to offer).
All you have to do for this spot is send a portfolio of your experience in storyboarding and if I like what I'm seeing, you should be golden!

It could work, as the 3D cel-shaded sections coupled with the amazing 2D sections of Dark Beginnings could absolutely work with this project. The world of Chaos Academy is vibrant, colorful, and most importantly, cel-shaded. So, with that being said, the model sheets of each character will fit within this world, meaning that the 3D models themselves will also be cel-shaded.
For this spot, all you have to do is show off a portfolio consisting of your 3D models. Show me your talent and make Sonic Team proud lol! Stay golden!

When creating Chaos Academy, one thing I've tried to do justice to, especially when it comes to the franchise, is music. Music is something that the Sonic series is incredibly known for. No matter the quality of the product, you know the music is going to be top-tier (unless you're Chronicles or Boom, then ew.) The musicians that the soundtrack will be inspired by are:
- Tomoya Ohtani (Basically the head of Sonic OSTs nowadays)
- Kenichi Tokoi (Responsible for giving us some crazy boss themes)
- Fumie Kumatani (Responsible for Team Dark (SA2 variant) music, and the nighttime themes from Unleashed)
- Hideki Naganuma (FUNKY FRESH, GET ENUF, JSR, BRCF, SONIC RUSSHHHHHHHHH- he's awesome)
- Naofumi Hataya (Gave us the HUE HUE HUE HUE HUE)
- Mariko Nanba (Responsible for some of Sonic's music in 06)
- Crush 40 (LIVE AND LEARN, HANGING ON THE EDGE OF TOMORROW-)
And plenty other non-Sonic producers like:
- TeddyLoid (Responsible for the Shadow Gens remix of Final Rush and Radical Highway (presumably), and the soundtrack for Panty and Stocking)
- BABYMETAL (because yeah, they're awesome and very chaotic, could work for potential intense scenes)
If you can catch the vibe of any of these, then you're an immediate choice for the soundtrack. However, if you have your own original style of music, I'll take a gander at it, and if it fits, you'll be considered for sure. All you have to do is send a small snippet of your music. Stay golden!

With Chaos Academy being a Sonic project, the sounds of the game should very much be acknowledged within this project. I need a few sound designers and audio engineers who can encapsulate the spirit of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
