Shinkami Productions is a passion project that starts here. I lead it. im a world builder by trade, and I understand my limits as a writer; this is a massive undertaking for me, so I'd love all the help I can get—with that said, I hope we can work together so this is my vision, which I hope to undertake starting sometime in January next year.
once a week, an episode (the 50s-60s) will launch on Saturday at 6 pm EST; this will be posted on YouTube shorts and TikTok, and every 12 weeks, we make a compilation of the episodes and make sure it flows together and post it as a 12-minute video on YT,
we will be making episodes based on my world of Shénhuà de muthos, a planet full of magic and mythology; it pulls inspiration from cultures worldwide and makes its pantheon of mythology.
The first story begins with following a small group of adventurers exploring a world with no exact direction. They travel from place to place, encountering different kinds of people and enemies from all walks of life. Our core four members will have others who join their party. Some might leave for one reason or another, and as they wander through this world, more and more of the mysteries of the world begin to fit together in a deep conspiracy of the witch; some of our characters might be directly involved, this story, in particular, is following the first of the divine 10, these mortals are people who can rival the gods and their power directly.
This will be a long-running project, and if it does catch on and become famous, all who take part will be paid accordingly. So, if you are interested in participating, please apply or reach out to me directly, as we will need villains and more extras in the future, and this is just the beginning.
Best case: let's say that this goes amazingly and it hits its full ability, 2 years from now would probably be the conclusion of season 1, at that point let's say we reach colossal popularity, 1mil follower or more, do I think it will happen probably not but we can all dream, at the start of season 2 I would have a large team together to do simple animations for this work, I have a fully fleshed out world so id like to have daily uploads with our main uploads being on Saturday and the rest of the week, we would have a side story told about a side characters backstory or the tale of a beast or myth, these would run for 12 weeks and then compiled into a whole episode on yt, then following that if the reception to a particular story is good we would do a seconded episode of that story on the next cycle with a max of 2 episodes run over the course of 2, 3-month blocks witch a 1 block break between them, hopefully, we would have a few fully staffed team and all being paid for by ads and merch, is this very likely no, is it possible maybe, will i try, absolutely and id love to bring others with me on this path
Worst case: after the first episode, if there is absolutely no traction, we will maybe run for one more episode, but if the team has low morale, we'll disband and try to figure out what went wrong and then try again probably with a new team and hopefully it will work out, if not id sadly end the project knowing that my dream wasn't meant to be.
Most plausible case: this is the most likely case. Will I try for the best case? Yes, of course, who wouldn't? So what would we expect? Season 1 ends in two years; at that point, we all will be paid our bread. We will continue with the main series and expand our team to include some more prominent names to draw more attention to our project; we will grow our experience as we make more and more continue; with eight full episodes under our belt, we expand with a small animation team and get better and cleaner with our art, hopefully by the 3-year mark we can return to our original episodes and redo them in an updated better style with better experience and knowledge that we didn't have at the time.
Final words: please, if you apply, remember that this isn't a sprint but a marathon. I don't know when we will start making money, and I don't know if we will. I want to be a leader for this, but I will need time and patience as we begin this; I am going to be doing the best I can to help everyone out and grow our community, so please stick by me and wait as hopefully, we begin to grow and show my world to anyone who wants to see, let's take pride in whatever we end up making, with that said
