Poinsettia Lounge - NEW SERIES Episode 1 Casting Call
Project Overview
About the project:
Hello! I’m Sally Basler from Hooting Pictures. I am looking for voice actors to play characters in our new animated series, "Poinsettia Lounge"! Created by Sally Basler and Rook Hughes.
General plot: Follow the staff and patrons of Duplicity’s favourite queer hangout: the Poinsettia Lounge! From romantic endeavours, self-discoveries, to everyday affairs it is never a dull night out with these Nightmares.
Poinsettia Lounge is rated TV-14 and as such will deal with occasional romantic situations, moderate violence, alcohol use and suggestive dialogue.
Production on the first episode titled, "Crazy for Ayzie" follows the waitresses (and Nion) as they discover that their boss and owner of the lounge, Ayzie will be firing one of them. Now it is a test to see which girl can butter up the boss the best.
There are a few characters in the series that do not appear until episode two or beyond. Casting calls for them will be opened at a later date.
I will be sending out the actors’ scripts within days of being cast and will provide deadlines. This project will also go on IMDB upon casting.
Once the series is in production, I will give regular updates in the Hooting Pictures Discord server on how the progress is going. I always make sure to keep every actor in the know!

What you will need:
A Discord account! Please leave it in your audition description.
A good microphone and a quiet place with no background noise to record in.
A cooperative attitude and dedication to the project! Please make sure you're able to get your lines recorded and sent in a timely manner. I will provide deadlines.
Must be able to send audio files as MP3 or WAV.

Coco and Cash are a rare female mouth-belly and stomach monster who are lounge singers at the Poinsettia Lounge. In contrast to Coco's delicant and elegant personality, Cash is far more abrasive. She loves to crack jokes and harmonise with Coco when they are performing on stage. She also has a habit of eating all of the strawberries in the lounge.
