Project Overview
What is this?
This is going to be a series of fandubs for the animated shorts and comics for the popular video game, Overwatch
For those of you unfamiliar with the premise of Overwatch: Sometime in the mid-21st century, a global catastrophe known as the Omnic Crisis plunged humanity into war. Their enemy was a line of automated construction robots known as Omnics, who suddenly went rogue and militarised themselves. In response, an international task force of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities known as Overwatch was formed to end the uprising and restore peace. At its height, Overwatch served as a beacon of heroism and selflessness, a demonstration of what humanity could accomplish by working across race, creed, and culture. It is now thirty years later, and Overwatch has since been decommissioned after losing its reputation to internal corruption. Yet the actions of a mysterious terrorist organization known as "Talon" threaten to re-ignite the flames of war and chaos across the world. The world needs heroes once again; it needs the rebirth of Overwatch.
Requirements:
1. Please make sure your microphone is capable of recording your voice without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping.
2. You must have a Discord account, as the project will be going into production over there.
3. Your voice files must be sent in a .wav format, though if it ends up too big, .mp3 files will do as an alternative.
4. You need to have a very clear idea of both the game and the character you're auditioning for, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the languages they speak.
5. Open Ethnicity, POC Actors HEAVILY encouraged to audition.
6. You must be loyal, kind, and trustworthy. We will not be allowing anyone who gives up on the project nor will we be allowing jerks or liars.

The former Overwatch agent known as Tracer is a time-jumping adventurer and an irrepressible force for good. She hails from London and has traveled all over the world. She was a great admirer of Tekhartha Mondatta and was inspired by Mei, an Overwatch scientist. She believes that sometimes, one simply has to do what is right, even if it's outside the law. She has always thought of herself as a soldier (at least since joining Overwatch) and is committed to protecting humans, omnics, and movements that could make the world better. Tracer is a fan of British pop/punk music, such as The Clash and The Beatles, and collects vinyl records.

Due to experiments carried out by Doctor Moira O'Deorain, Reaper's cells simultaneously decay and regenerate at a hyper-accelerated rate. Even after the complete destruction of his body, Reaper has been observed to retain some kind of form as a black mist, apparently able to regain physical form at a later point. He has described living in the condition as a form of "constant agony," though it is only through O'Deorain's experiments that he can stay alive.
Death walks among you.
The reckoning draws near.
This time, I'll finish the job.
Widowmaker is the perfect assassin: a patient, ruthlessly efficient killer who shows neither emotion nor remorse. She is unaffected by low temperatures.
One shot, one kill.

With a strong sense of justice, Fareeha Amari's commitment to duty runs in her blood. She comes from a long line of highly decorated soldiers and burns with the desire to serve with honor. A serious but altruistic individual, Pharah seeks to make the world a better place, and bring order out of chaos. She loves the feeling of entering the unknown, and has an udjat tattoo on her right eye, bearing the Eye of Horus.[4] Every action she undertakes comes from "a deep place" within her spirit. Fareeha has a mixed relationship with her mother, and while her relationship with her father was initially complicated as well, it is currently more familial. Pharah has strong instincts, honed by her training.
I will protect the innocent.

My New Years' resolution? Actually take that time off.
Reinhardt Wilhelm styles himself as a champion of a bygone age, who lives by the knightly codes of valor, justice, and courage. Possessing an "active imagination," he enjoys eating currywurst, is talkative, and is a fan of David Hasselhoff's music. He spars with Brigitte every day, after which they go to a pub or tavern to relax.
Justice will be done.

One hundred percent German power!
A guardian angel to those who come under her care, Dr. Angela Ziegler is a peerless healer, a brilliant scientist, and a staunch advocate for peace. She is one of the most gifted doctors in the world when it comes to medical technology, and has applied such technology to her own body; effects have possibly included slowing/halting her aging process. She likes Swiss chocolate and enjoys tea, which she sometimes takes with a nip of brandy after a life-threatening ordeal. She isn't good at making coffee, however—Genji was the only Overwatch member who could stand to drink it.
I'll be watching over you.

Torbjörn Lindholm (called "Torby" by his friends) is one of the greatest weaponsmiths and engineers in the world. He has a low opinion of omnics, believing them to be incapable of empathy, instead acting purely on logic, and disagrees with giving them the same rights as humans. "Allt är inte guld som glimmar" (All that glitters is not gold) is one of his favorite phrases.
Build 'em up, break 'em down.

Mastering his skills as a bowman and an assassin, Hanzo Shimada strives to prove himself as a warrior without peer. He is likewise skilled with the sword but has sworn off using such a weapon. He considers crossbows to be "toys for children," and believes that compassion has no place in battle. He has demonstrated a cynical view on the nature of the world.
With every death, comes honor. With honor, redemption.
If you sit by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by.
I have lost my home and my brother. But I will not lose my honor.
A super-intelligent, genetically engineered gorilla, Winston is a brilliant scientist and a champion for humanity's potential. Since a young age, he has shown limitless curiosity for the world around him but also has a fondness for stories, especially those passed down from generation to generation. By his admission, he tends to overthink things, is a perfectionist, and tends to ramble. As an ape among humans, he gets regular remarks on this subject, including references to old video games. When Winston loses his temper, Winston becomes a raging ape. In his off-time, he enjoys peanut butter and bananas. He has stated/joked that his love of the former is due to his genetic therapy. Due to the amount of time he spent on the moon, he has to take supplements to keep his bones in good condition.
Imagination is the essence of discovery.

Zenyatta is an omnic monk who wanders the world in search of spiritual enlightenment. It is said that those who cross his path are never the same again. He believes that by forming people into relationships, the world can be healed, and a better society created. But, when necessary, he will fight to protect the innocent, be they omnic or human. The orbs he uses were hand-carved at the Shambali monastery and serve as a means to channel omnic energy. Zenyatta found humans' manner of speech perplexing at first, having little grasp of metaphors. He still occasionally struggles with their figures of speech. Like all Shambali, despite being unable to eat, Zenyatta knows how to prepare food.
True self is without form.
Consider only victory. Make defeat an impossibility in your mind.
Repetition is the path to mastery.
Symmetra bends reality, and she is the Vishkar Corporation's premier hard-light architect. By manipulating hard-light constructs, she crafts the world as she wishes it to be, in hopes of engineering a perfect society. Symmetra believes her actions serve the greater good in society, though there are times when she wonders whether the control and order she desires are truly best for humanity. When light-bending, Symmetra uses Kathak dance movements. Symmetra is on the autism spectrum; She has demonstrated traits associated with the condition such as having trouble with social interactions, suffering from sensory overload, and preferring environments that are structured and harmonious. She finds it hard to sit still. She has set routines, which ensure there is always order and calm in some part of her life. Even in hotels, she has time alone and cleaves to her routines as much as possible. As a child, she struggled with understanding metaphors, though as an adult, she is more adept at understanding such figures of speech. While Symmetra does not hesitate to carry out missions of dubious morality for her company (such as digging up blackmail material to sabotage competitors), she dislikes killing and only resorts to lethal force if she has to.
The true enemy of humanity is disorder.
If everyone performs their function, victory is assured.

Aleksandra Zaryanova is one of the world's strongest women, a celebrated athlete who sacrificed personal glory to protect her family, friends, and country in a time of war. As a soldier in the Russian Defense Forces, she is proud to use her strength to protect the ones she loves. Zarya is distrustful of omnics, even those who seek co-existence with humanity. One of her personal heroes is Vasily Alekseyev. She enjoys eating cabbage pierogis.
Together, we are strong.
Be sure to stretch before engaging in rigorous physical activity.

Armed with his Peacekeeper revolver, the outlaw Jesse McCree doles out justice on his own terms. A $60 million bounty is on his head. At times, he has missed his old farm boy life. He enjoys liquor with "bite" to it, along with cookies. He refuses to eat pork. McCree is an ace shot and is known for staying cool under fire, and his charm, and adaptability. He prefers revolvers to rifles. While the latter may have improved accuracy, he prefers revolvers for their rate of fire, and one's ability to shoot from the hip. He also knows how to play poker.
Justice ain't gonna dispense itself.

Currently the target of an international manhunt, the vigilante known as Soldier: 76 wages a personal war to expose the truth behind Overwatch's collapse. Due to his genetic enhancement, he can heal wounds and acclimatize much faster than a normal human. He has always been a light sleeper. He was a fan of Indiana University basketball and was also a fan of Westerns...at least until he met Jesse McCree. He is of Catholic faith. He has a smile that he uses to get himself out of trouble, though is usually taciturn. He is well-read, showing interest in historical generals, and is a chess player, apparently admiring Bobby Fischer. The mask he wears distorts his voice.
We're all soldiers now.

Lúcio is an international celebrity who inspires social change through his music and actions. He has a positive, up-beat attitude, and is always looking towards the future. Lúcio wears hard-light skates that project hard-light "blades," allowing him to traverse any surface.
Come on, let's bring it together.

7'3" tall, and 550 lbs, Roadhog is a ruthless killer with a well-earned reputation for cruelty and wanton destruction. He remains silent most of the time. He wears a mask with "hogdrogen" inhalers, which contain a pressurized chemical mixture that helps counteract the effects of radiation exposure.
I'm a one-man apocalypse.
What are you looking at?
Roadhog rides again.
Junkrat is an explosives-obsessed freak who lives to cause chaos and destruction. He is on several most-wanted lists. He has a low opinion of omnics and those who believe they can be trusted. He likewise has a low opinion of "suits" (corporate businesspersons). Junkrat's hair carries a burning smell with it. He lost his right leg to an accident with a homemade explosive. He dislikes shrimp.
It's a perfect day for some mayhem.
It's hard to just sit around knowing there's someone out there that needs to be blown up!
Oh, don’t mind me, I was just takin’ five. Definitely not thinkin' about blowin' somethin' up. No way! Eheh. Definitely not. ...Okay, come on, maybe just a little something?
D.Va is a former professional gamer who now uses her skills to pilot a state-of-the-art mech in defense of her homeland. She is a very competitive individual and coupled with her pro-gamer skills, this makes her an extremely effective mech pilot. Never backing down, D.Va always plays to win. While she projects a carefree, irreverent attitude, D.Va is burdened by the emotional cost of defending her homeland and the facade the South Korean media projects on her. In addition to skills as a mech pilot, D.Va is also a competent mechanic.

Cheerful, creative, and optimistic, even in the face of overwhelming odds, Mei is a world-renowned climatologist[4] who has taken the fight to preserve the environment into her own hands. She specializes in the study of abnormal climate phenomena and their effects on different ecosystems around the world. She strongly believes in preserving the world for future generations and is determined to fight for a better future. While originally just a scientist, Winston's recall order has inspired her to heroism. Mei is a fan of Lúcio's music.
Our world is worth fighting for.

The cyborg Genji Shimada has made peace with the augmented body he once rejected, and in doing so, he has discovered a higher humanity. While wary of his past, he has acknowledged and made peace with it. He (almost) constantly wears a mask, as, in his words, "I do not want people to fear me...or pity me." Genji's sword is a katana named Ryū ichimonji; he maintains it personally and has never allowed anyone else to examine or repair it. It is paired with a traditional wakizashi sheathed horizontally on his lower back.

One of the founding members of Overwatch, Ana uses her skills and expertise to defend her home and the people she cares for. Hailing from a long line of decorated soldiers, Ana inspired confidence and loyalty in her colleagues and endowed her daughter, Pharah with an intense sense of duty and honor. Like her daughter, she bore a tattoo of an Eye of Horus as a symbol of protection. Likewise, her callsign in the Egyptian military during the Omnic Crisis was "Horus." To this day, Ana is regarded as a hero by the Egyptian people. Ana is regarded as one of the world's deadliest snipers. She originally used a Kinamura rifle, upon which she added a notch for every life she took. Each life weighed heavily on her conscience, and while some snipers preferred to wound targets, to lure out more potential targets, she preferred to perform clean kills, disliking causing needless suffering. Her right eye, originally cybernetic, made her vision six times greater than normal, to the extent where she rarely even needed to use the scope. While procedures exist that could repair her cybernetic eye, she feels comfortable with her eyepatch, seeing it as a reminder of who she is now. She continues to experience phantom pain from the eye injury. In light of her experiences, Ana now prefers to avoid taking lives when possible, in contrast to her earlier approach of never leaving an enemy alive.

One of the world's most notorious hackers, Sombra uses information to manipulate those in power. Sombra's skills include computer hacking and cryptography; these are activities she greatly enjoys, to the point where the desire to get past locks and solving mysteries is ingrained in her personality. She is a known associate of Reaper, specializing in espionage and intelligence assessment. She is equipped with devices that allow hacking of technology just through touch. This includes a cybernetic graft implanted along her spine. which basically makes her a living computer. She is a loner emotionally, finding it difficult to make friends (outside coercion). Her calling card is a sugar skull.
Everything can be hacked... and everyone.

Orisa is a newly-created omnic with both a heart and personality. Urged to become a hero by her creator, Efi Oladele, Orisa strives to right wrongs and act as the hero the world needs. While her relative inexperience can make her an occasional liability, Efi's optimism and willingness to make modifications to Orisa's adaptive artificial intelligence have always been able to set things right. While Orisa has much to learn about the world and its functionality, Orisa stands ready to protect both Efi and Numbani with her growing sense of honor and duty. She is a fan of Lúcio's music, though will shut down if We Move Together As One is played via a shutdown code. She does not dream in the manner that humans do. She is named after the orisha; spirits reflecting one of the manifestations of the Supreme Divinity in Yoruba religion. Her voice is a synthesis of the voices of Efi's grandmother, mother, teacher, and Gabrielle Adawe.

Recently freed from imprisonment, Doomfist is determined to plunge the world into a new conflict that he believes will make humanity stronger. He possesses great strength and agility himself, even without his gauntlet, in part due to his cybernetic implants. He is an excellent martial artist and has superhuman levels of concentration. Doomfist is fluent in English and at least some Yoruba.
Only through conflict do we evolve.
Once the mission starts, no more messing around.
It'll take more than that to stop me.
Equal parts brilliant and controversial, scientist Moira O'Deorain is on the cutting edge of genetic engineering, searching for a way to rewrite the fundamental building blocks of life. Though O'Deorain will go to any lengths to make scientific breakthroughs, her work is still unknown to most of the world. But now that she has been freed from all constraints, it is only a matter of time before everything changes. O'Deorain has a negative view of Overwatch, claiming that it was responsible for stifling scientific advancement for decades. She has no interest in global conquest but is willing to work with those who might have such a goal. Her intellectual pursuits are driven by her interest in humanity. She is a geneticist first and foremost, and that's the scope of her ambition. With very flexible morals, O'Deorain prefers to focus on her research and has no patience for those who urge caution or restraint.
Science will reveal the truth.

Brigitte is the youngest daughter of Torbjörn and Ingrid Lindholm and is a traveling companion of Reinhardt Wilhelm. No longer sitting on the sidelines, Brigitte Lindholm has taken up arms to defend those in need of protection. She is very stubborn, a trait inherited from her father. Brigitte spars with Reinhardt every day. Afterward, she and Reinhardt go to a pub or tavern to relax. She likes doughnuts and loves semlor.
I am Brigitte Lindholm. I will be your shield!

Described as "witty and conniving," Hammond is capable of speech, just not in any human language. His mech, named "Wrecking Ball", translates his comments into English, via a soundboard. The mech itself is equipped with a minor AI. Winston is the one individual Hammond can converse with normally as they're both animals.

Ashe is the ambitious and calculating leader of the Deadlock Gang and a respected figure in the criminal underworld. Ashe has an organized mindset. This affects her ideas of how her organization should be run, to how relationships should work. Her relationship with Jesse McCree is "way more complicated" than a simple label, though could be described as a "love-hate" type of relationship. As the daughter of socialites, Ashe feels just as comfortable at charity balls as she does on a motorcycle. She is a good shot with a rifle, believing that accuracy is key and that all one should need is a single shot.
My name's Ashe. We're playing by my rules now.

An elite combat medic and ex-Talon operative, Baptiste now uses his skills to help those whose lives have been impacted by war. He possesses an innate desire to help people. In correspondence obtained by Trung Le Nguyen, Cuerva noted that Baptiste is a skilled marksman despite being a medic, and boasted unusually high endurance, versatility, and even luck. Baptiste loves to eat— it has been suggested that his favorite dish is pork griot and lalo. Not many people know that he has a sweet tooth, and he loves to kick back with a tall drink with a lot of ice. He is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, and English. His equipment is a collection of armor and weaponry acquired over the years. Some are from the black market, and some are modified from his Caribbean Coalition and Talon gear; Baptiste has always been resourceful. Baptiste is an only child but has several cousins.

Fantastic astrophysicist Dr. Siebren de Kuiper's life changed forever when an experiment gone wrong gave him the ability to control gravity; now, Talon manipulates him to their own ends. De Kuiper is mentally damaged. He thinks about the universe, gravity, and physics all through the same 'prism', seeing them as being akin to music. He has high regard for the work of Mei-Ling Zhou, finding it "brilliant."
There is no obligation for the universe to make sense to you.

Echo is an evolutionary robot programmed with a rapidly adapting artificial intelligence, versatile enough to fill multiple battlefield combat roles, able to reconfigure herself on the fly (quite literally) to adapt to new situations. For the first time, Echo is seeing action as a full-fledged team member. But as she is exposed to new people, new ideas, and new situations without her creator to guide her, no one knows how she might evolve in the future Much of Echo's personality is based on Doctor Mina Liao, her creator. As she continues to adapt, free from the confines of a lab, those around her will decide whether Echo will remain an echo of her creator, or become her own person.
