Butchy is the personal body guard of Natrolite The Merciful. It is her job to keep her safe and fed to produce more Rubrum brood. She unlike her sister Blood Jasper (the shard Berserker) is a lot more self contained and reserved. Often speaking quite slowly and has adopted a strange word patterned way of speaking as if she's monologuing. She always remarks her direct feelings about a subject at the end of whatever ramblings she does.
In certain ways she is more affable and approachable than her sister. She initially seems to have an inclination of politeness and astonishingly for a Rubrum gem shows direct kindness to her fellow Rubrum gems like Natrolite or her sister (whom rarely reciprocates such consideration)
Her most disturbing trait is her overt enjoyment of cannibalizing intelligent alien races. She has a genuine skill and passion for culinary art, however, it's all tainted by her inability to see how consuming intelligent life is morally wrong. This all isn't too surprising from the Rubrum general lack of any morals to begin with.
Like her sister she has a love of combat along with her culinary passion. With both areas she's quite adept and zealous with her enjoyment of them. She loves a good fight, and the spoils of her victories usually involve using her defeated foe as a... "Component" in her next dish.
For general mannerisms, she's properly closest to Sloth from FMAB.
