The "Mule" is a mutant giant pebble who's life, at least, they believe so, is nothing but utter suffering and hardship. They always have a nihilistic outlook on every situation and see existence as nothing but a sick joke they aren't laughing about. They always speak in oddly verbose and eloquent tones, almost always mentioning some form of pain they're enduring.

They were created by their Cruel master, Red Natrolite, a gem with the ability to make pebbles by spitting on stones or boulders. Red Natrolite made the mule for the express reason for them to haul around things for them. While Natrolite could carry these things herself, she actively chose to force the mule to do this as a childish kind of torment to The Mule.
