Final Day
Well, as it says, today's the final day. Tommorrow I will make decisions. This is the last chance for everyone to audition for this nice little project.
Metroid-Manga Fandub
Project Overview
Just as it says: A fandub of the Metroid-Manga that I'm planning to do. It covers Samus' backstory as well as most of the first game/Zero Mission. It spans 16 chapters, beginning with the Space Pirates' raid on K-2L and ends just before Samus fights Mother Brain.
And now for everyone who doesn't know about the Metroid-Franchise:
After being the only survivor of the Space Pirates' raid on her home planet K-2L, Samus Aran is taken in by the Chozo (bird-like, very advanced people) and is trained to become the "true protector of the galaxy". After her training is completed, she leaves the Chozo's home planet Zebes and joins the Galactic Federation Police in hopes of fighting the Space Pirates and ridding the galaxy of them. Soon, the Federation recieves an SOS from Zebes, saying the planet is under Space Pirate attack. After facing the Pirates and being forced to retreat, she quits the Police and becomes a bounty hunter (really more like a mercenary). After some years, she returns to Zebes to reclaim it from the Space Pirates.
Yeah, I'm bad at explaining excitingly.

Btw: "Accent: English" means "British".
Not counting the few "named" extras, I'd like everyone who auditions to know that he or she might be asked to do extra-work as well. The only exception is Samus' actress, since Samus appears all over the Manga (obviously).
Besides, if anyone is looking for Ridley: I snatched that one for myself.
A Skype-account for communication is preferable, but not a must.

One of the Chozo who adopted Samus after she was orphaned. He seemingly betrays the Chozo in favor of Mother Brain's "perfect" society, but is later shown to having tried to destroy her. He also seems to be the youngest Chozo alive, going by looks alone.

Have you not considered the concern that expanding our military power would mean involving the everyday common man? It would be better for us to exercise more caution in this debate.

According to reports, this Metroid absorbs any form of energy, beta radiation causes it to expand in numbers at a tremendous rate. The more energy, the more of them are created… To put it simply, if the Galactic Federation leaves these “Metroids” to live as they will, we will quickly be overrun and destroyed!

The, well, Space Pirates. A seemingly crustacean species of interstellar brigands. They're usually not exactly smart, but they're pretty brutal.
They come in two ways: The ones with a relatively human face (called Pirate A) and the ones with the beak-like maws (called Pirate B).
I'd like Pirate A to have some kind of raspy voice, while I'd prefer Pirate B to have a nasal voice.
(Pirate A) Lord Ridley, we’ve captured the facility. We’ve begun transporting the containers.
(Pirate B) We’re gonna take care of all of you!

The series' main character. Has a strong sence of justice and a very strong hatred for the Space Pirates. She's also VERY afraid of Ridley, the Space Pirate commander (because he killed her mother right in front of her). She's also prone to cussing, though not as much as Kreatz below.
I'd like her voice to be close to Jessica Martin's performance in Metroid: Other M. Unlike Martin however, you're allowed to emote. It is, however, not a must (sounding like Martin, that is).
She's shown at ages 14, 17 and her early twenties. Whoever is casted is supposed to do all of these ages.
Zebes’ Tourian is where the Chozo and Mother Brain held council. It’s also where they influenced possible troop mobilization if required… So, in a way, Zebes was actually the heart of the Federation. Do the Space Pirates know that? At any rate, there’s no way Mother has survived this uninjured…

The Chozo's main computer and main villain of the first and third games, making her the Manga's main villain as well. Mostly called "Mother" for short. Has a very high opinion of herself. She doesn't emote much, being a computer, but when she does, she's really chewing the scenery.
I'd like her voice to be either like GlaDoS from Portal (she's actually close to GlaDoS personality wise, minus the sarcasm), Aurora Unit 242 from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption or early Aigis from Persona 3. You can add effects if you want, but you don't have to.
As expected, this weak creature is incapable of living in Zebes’ harsh environment. I do not expect her to last more than a few days.
With me directing the Space Pirates, they will be a perfect force capable of restoring true order in the universe.

Yes, Sir! First, take a look at this. SR388 (S-R-3-8-8). This is a remote planet not found on many galactic charts. This is where the trouble began. Three months ago, the planet reclamation division reported an uncharted planet and a group was sent to survey the area, but the first thing they recorded was death.
What? Samus, why do you have a name for it? This is an “unkown species”, you know.
