Lost Souls
Project Overview
- ☆.｡.:* Welcome to Lost Souls! .｡.:*☆
Lost Souls is going to be a podcast revolving around the story of Shawn Davidson.
Two years ago, his little sister had mysteriously gone missing. The search lasted over a year, and yet there was no explanation. The scariest part, though, was her final moments with him. It seemed as though she had gone insane. Her disorder had always made her charming and made it easy for her to fake normality. There was so much Shawn had yet to learn before she slipped from his grasp. The year is now 1982, and the students at Stadenville High are undergoing the same fate. Students slowly begin to go missing after reaching a similar insanity to that of Shawn’s sister. Supernatural rumors and theories spread through the school like wildfire. Each person was secretly fearing who would be next. Shawn is both frightened and intrigued by the similar kismet his sister faced. With his sister in heart and justice on his mind, he and his friends are determined to discover who or what is responsible.
Audition Expectations:
- You must be at least 13+ to audition.
- In your audition, please include a way to contact you; we prefer Discord over anything.
- Please make sure you are able to record in a quiet room, both in your audition and during the time of recording.
- A professional microphone is preferred but not required.

The lingering memories with his little sister were playing on repeat in his head. She was the one thing that kept him sane, and now she was gone. Years passed, and the cheerful exterior that Shawn once held diminished into nothing. He was truly a shell of what he once was.

Traits: Mid-voice, gentle.
This role is already taken by the co-director of the project. We have included it in order to prevent confusion regarding the storyline.

Alyssa is Shawn’s crush, even though she doesn’t know him. She’s an attractive girl that grabs the attention of all those around her, but her quick-wits and brutal honesty tend to make her seem unapproachable.
Traits: Soft voice, high-med pitched.
This role is taken by the director of this project. We have included it in the casting call anyway in order to avoid confusion regarding the story line.

Brittany is a quirky girl on the cheerleading team, as well is Alyssa’s best friend. Even though she can be a bad influence at times, they both do everything together.
Traits: Medium pitched voice, exaggerated speech, nasally (sound like a snooty little popular girl).

"Come on, girlie, it's not that serious. Thing's will be fine in, like, a week or two."

Andrew is Shawn’s geeky best friend. He’s also a “ladies’ man,” even though no one knows why. Andrew shows his affection through teasing, which is mainly directed towards Shawn.
Traits: Deep voice, resonant tone.
"They say it lies in the middle of the Amault (uh-malt) Forest, deep within the warehouse."
"What? You afraid the ghosts will come and get you?"
"Come on, Shawn, do it! Don't be a little wuss about it."

Robby is a comical friend who will always be by your side. He’s friendly despite his shyness, and is the group’s “therapist.”
Traits: Mid-high pitch voice. Giggly and shy.

Ian is someone who appears tough, but acts even worse. He’s popular, but feared. Together, both Ian and Douglas, take on the world. He is also Andrew's older brother.

"Why don't you go in if you're so tough, then? ... That's what I thought."
