THE STORY(So far)
The plot begins with Gertrude falling into Fairyland as a six-year-old. Accompanying her is her assigned guide, Larrigon Wentsworth iii, or Larry for short. She spends over 27 years looking for a key to escape this wretched fantasy land, resulting in her becoming a violent psychopath. Treading such violence amongst Fairyland and it's inhabitants; which ultimately catches the attention of Queen Cloudia, who tries everything in her absolute power to put an end to Gertrude's chaotic actions. Which garners Cloudia to introduce a new child named Happy to further hinder Gert's journey back home. A whole power struggle later results in the queen being defeated, subsequently leaving Gertrude to take up the role as the new queen of Fairyland. And spoiler alert: she's not very good at it. So, she ends up resigning after being god fluffing awful at it. Sending her back on the path to find a way home, full of even crazier adventures to come! This said path has even led Gertrude to try to do more good around Fairyland, hoping to change her ways. Will she succeed? Probably not...
INTRODUCTION
Hello hello there once again, Steven here(or Pixel Ham)! I am the whole brains behind the whole operation here! I hope that we can communicate well together and we can get to know each other along the way through this project! Any questions you have, or if you questions about other things for me, just send me a message through Twitter or CCC.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline is to be firm and will remain as is. If I feel the need extend the deadline I shall, but until then, this window of time should be enough! As for the audition portion and what comes after, you shall receive a message through our means of communication(via Discord tag) and from there, we can get this show on the road! One last thing: please consider reading any updates if I do post anything surrounding the project on here. As important information may come up. The deadline will be on October 12th, 2024 at 11:59PM PST.
WHAT TO EXPECT
SO, I'm going to need everyone to be on board, to communicate and be motivated to do their part to ensure things flow smoothly in the processes of helping to make episodes and performances flourish! The release is always going to be on YouTube, though a majority of the voice-directing, video-editing/compositing etc. will be done by me, so that will take a good chunk of time. Bring your best, and I'll give you my best!
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First and foremost, have fun! Once you're cast, I shall do my best to guide you through your scripts when we go back and forth through our means of communication(Discord etc.) Live directing is a must! It will just be between myself and you do note that!
Secondly, if later down the line, your character is set to return or is needed for lines etc., I will be contacting you to return/reprise as your character. I do sorta expect commitment for consistency.
Thirdly, this project is a paid project. Payments will be sent through Paypal as it is required.
Please submit clean recordings on XLR or USB mics (no background sounds/noises) Too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice. Also please let me handle the post-production. Please do not add effects to your lines -- leave that to myself. Thank you. This doesn't mean don't clean up your audio I just don't want voice modifications in the takes.
AABBCC or ABCABC format. Either works! Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes!
Please leave your Discord tag (highly preferred) or other means of communication alongside your audition.
Please submit your recordings as one .WAV or MP3 file. Once cast, likely a set format will be given later.

The ruler of all of Fairyland who appears to all her subjects as a beloved and benevolent leader. But ever since the arrival of the terror of Gertrude, she has been nothing but extremely irate and uncharacteristically malevolent towards her in hopes to et rid of her. She can be as dainty-sweet like a cloud one moment, but then like a thunderous rainstorm, unpredictable and wrathful the next!
Voice Inspiration(s) Side Note: Her voice is envisioned as having a "sweet British accent" that doubled as something "evil and ill-willed" underneath that kind-hearted facade.
Overall, I am aiming for a VOICE-MATCH as the character has already been well established in the comic dub.
