Beserkers (working title) animated story book visual novel
Project Overview
This is a passion project. I’ve been wanting to bring to life for a very long time. I am a writer and this is my story about violent mountain men living away from society, hunting down the boy that accidentally burned their village down. If this project is successful there will be multiple parts. The main voice actor will getting paid 50 CAD for the narration of the story I look forward to making something great with you all

Gunnar is our main character he is the son of a chief of violent mountain men. Amongst all of them, he is considered the weakest link. He is compassionate, thoughtful, and caring. And has a special love for animals. His father and community look down on him because of this. They see him as inferior weak and defective because of his most of his teenage years he grew up, enduring years of abuse at the hands of his father. He has multiple scars both mentally and physically. His voice is timid and quiet almost Monotone at times. He also stutters, especially in his father’s presence. I imagine his voice would sound like the fox from the little prince or Atreus from god of war, Ragnarok he is 17 years old so he should sound around that age. Any accents are welcome since this does take place in a fictional world bonus points if it’s a northern European accent

it wasn’t until I looked at him, all the years of bloodshed, murder rape it was in him I could see it in his blood soaked eyes. I could see it in the curves of his shattered knotted up face. I could see it In way he hurt me without thought or hesitation. His heart was hollow and riven. Nothing would ever stop him, nothing would ever satisfy him. How could I’ve been so stupid he wasn’t my father, he was the devil himself.

Gunnar’s father A brutal and blood thirsty man. Set on doing anything it takes to make him into a man. His voice is commanding and booming. Every line should be as intimidating as it can be.

Gunnar we need to talk. It’s about time you participate in this…some day when I’m long gone you will have to learn to do this for the future of our clan. If not your people will starve and freeze to death and that blood will be on your hands
I am looking for someone who can animate a sketch, and make it look like it’s moving on a story book. Imagine the old Disney cd ROM animated story books for example. animation You wouldn’t have to animate the story book just the animations on the pages. Video editing for the visual novel I don’t have a preference for which apps you use. The project would require audio editing and visual effects such as flipping through a story book and working together with the animator to create the sketches moving on the pages
