PAYMENT RATES:
Mini comics: flat rate of 3$ per character
Longer form comics: up to 20$ per character as of right now
These are long term roles as we are going to be voicing over work consistently Posting 3-7 short form comic dubs / mini comics weekly.
(I am new to casting call and I need to make sure the rates are very clear!!)
Hey! My name is Gummy, I'm a voice actor, director, and general content creator based around voicing over fan works from your favorite medias!
So far, my works have been voiced over by friends of mine and mutuals that enjoy collaboration! My goal in making this casting call is to expand our group and meet new people as well as solidify good fits for the characters we are working to portray!
I am casting as I go along, if I find someone who fits the criteria I will not wait until the deadline to cast.

NEED TO KNOW
0. This project is semi-professional. We get silly sometimes and we're all pretty friendly with each other, however that doesn't mean we don't take what we do seriously. You can be friendly with people without being rude, slacking off, and generally just being a nuisance to a production.
1. Professionality is key, I do not stand for immaturity and will not work with those that do not care for how they present themselves. That is not to say we can't be friendly. Honestly, I have made some of my best friends through VO work and would be more than happy to become friends through working together. That being said, just present yourself in a kind, professional, and all-around understanding manner.
2. Good quality audio is a necessity, doesn't matter how good you are, if you submit poor quality audio you will be denied.
3. You must be relatively flexible; we post relatively frequently, and you need to be able to have time to record and submit lines to me. If you have an extremely busy schedule this group may not be for you.
4. Be sure to include your discord or means of contacting you in your audition!!

Swansea is the Tulpar's mechanic, responsible for overseeing the ship's maintenance and ensuring everything functions properly. He comes across as a grumpy, no-nonsense older man who initially seems dismissive and irritated by his intern, Daisuke, treating him more like a nuisance than a partner. Despite his curt demeanor and gruff exterior, Swansea’s actions suggest a deeper, unspoken care for Daisuke, such as secretly hiding the only working cryostasis pod, likely with the intention of saving his intern rather than himself.
Swansea’s guarded nature and blunt behavior create a sense of mistrust among the crew, particularly when his deception about the “foam-filled” utility room comes to light. However, his decision to mercy kill Daisuke after a severe injury—despite Jimmy’s accusations—reveals a pragmatic and compassionate side, showing that Swansea shoulders difficult choices for the sake of others.
Gruff, grumbling, fatherly, and perpetually tired, with a dry, sardonic edge. His tone should carry a sense of reluctant care beneath the hardened exterior in quieter, more vulnerable moments. Slight lisp is optional.
