Project Overview
Storyline:
In servitude to the Gilded Army and their fates, ERNESTO and MARIA found glory, friendship, and love. But in a final offensive against a fate-crazed warlord, Maria discovers that she’s pregnant and that the fate of her child may serve the true enemy, TENEBRIS. Nearly a year later, the turbulent fate of their child is unearthed again, turning comrades against one another and revealing a more insidious side of the Gilded Army.

Maria is introduced as a tenacious warrior and servant of the Gilded Army. She brims with anxiety about her fated battle with Rebulus. She also reveals a deep love for a playful cavalry soldier known as Ernesto Dal. Later, after the birth of Tim, Maria softens only slightly as she becomes a mother and a civilian in Antium, capital city of Alaya. The anxiety she carried for her own future has pivoted to a near constant worry about the fate of her child and the dangers that corner him. The drive so elemental of Maria is still recognizable in the manner through which she later protects Tim.

The High Chaplain has consented to our proposed siege on Belkor Keep. The Seers gave no mention of Commander Vinicius.

Character references- Clark Kent Ernesto is a handsome and strong young warrior of the Gilded Army. He is also a close friend and comrade of the lightning glove user Roland. Ernesto aids Roland in the battle against Rebulus' main forces while his lover, Maria and dear friend Emelia face-off with with Rebulus in his chambers.

By this act, tradition will be shattered. What’s more, they’d begin with ones so young. A reading by Glove is gentle and precise but the appraisal of fate by a Seer drains the body.

Roland is of the most powerful members of the Gilded Army, wielding the storied lightning glove. Though he has endured and participated in many successful conquests he grew a reputation for being a bit unorthodox in the eyes of the Gilded Army. A loose cannon though still loyal to the plans laid out to him by fate.
Roland grew close to Ernesto through their many years of travel and training and thus began to think of Ernesto like a brother rather than just a comrade. As we see in this story Roland is haunted by his coming death. However, it's not the loss of his life he fears but rather what happens to the ones he cares about when he is gone.

A large and imposing General of dark forces that ravage the land of Alaya. He hopes to take over the land in search of power and favor from his dark lord Tenebris. He is very tall and much older. But years of war and battle have not been kind to him.He speaks/ra,nles to the demon Tenebris a Demon that is unseen everyone around him this rambling has worsened over the years making appear manic to his enemies and his allies. In battle he enters a state of demonic rage being completely taken over and possessed by the Demon Tenebris.

Commander Vinicius of the Gilded Army is the highest military and government authority in Antium. His authority is rivaled only by the likes of the High Priest Arbentine. Vinicius's conviction to the Gilded Army's cause and to the enforcement of prophecy is nigh absolute, and he feels entirely justified in labeling anyone who opposes these views as servants of darkness.
Vinicius is willing to take any lengths he must in order to carry out the Gilded Army's will, and is not above cruel and unusual tactics to accomplish what fate dictates. Much like Arbentine, he sees broken illuminated fate as sin. He views himself as a dutiful and righteous person who is, at worst, making sacrifices for a much greater good. Vinicius will stop at nothing to destroy Tenebris, even if it means becoming a destroyer himself.

For decades, Rebulus has drowned these lands in shadow and death, hunting our faith! His army wishes to break our oaths to what is true and known, what is known and seen.
We captured him at the southern gate, bashing and howling at the entrance. He appears to be another forlorn follower of the dead heretic.
Like black oil dripping from his skin. I imagine he’ll melt away like the others soon, leaving a puddle. Nothing more.
