Commander Vinicius of the Gilded Army is the highest military and government authority in Antium. His authority is rivaled only by the likes of the High Priest Arbentine. Vinicius's conviction to the Gilded Army's cause and to the enforcement of prophecy is nigh absolute, and he feels entirely justified in labeling anyone who opposes these views as servants of darkness.
Vinicius is willing to take any lengths he must in order to carry out the Gilded Army's will, and is not above cruel and unusual tactics to accomplish what fate dictates. Much like Arbentine, he sees broken illuminated fate as sin. He views himself as a dutiful and righteous person who is, at worst, making sacrifices for a much greater good. Vinicius will stop at nothing to destroy Tenebris, even if it means becoming a destroyer himself.
