Final Fantasy Type-0 Animated Parody [Chapters 1 & 2]
Project Overview
An animated parody based off the first two chapters of Final Fantasy Type-0!
Let's have fun with this silly little thing, alright?
Note: I will fill the role of Ace, hence the reason he will not be listed here.
With the cast now finished (as in, all roles are in, not cast), I must issue a statement: Some actors must be okay with swearing and making sexual innuendo/jokes. Some characters will mildly "swear" (i.e., saying "hell"), and others will be vulgar to the most part. And some characters won't swear at all! And so on.
Anyway, once I have an official script (or the first and second drafts, all actors will be able to collaborate with me, as to make the final draft ready to go. That's all I have to say. I will be sure to listen to EVERYONE who is cast, for their opinions and all. If you do not like some of the ways of the character you were cast for, or, don't like some of the things they say, then please speak up. I promise to listen.
This is a basic timeline of Final Fantasy Type-0. It contains some YouTube links to certain cutscenes, however, as it currently stands, is incomplete of the cutscenes. I will continue to try and add more, but, for now, I can only do so much at once. Here is the link: Basic Timeline of Final Fantasy Type-0.
The document also contains the calendar rules of Orience, including how a particular date would work, for example, January 31 is Ignismens XXXI, and so on and so forth.
Also, this parody will (probably) make some references to the five-volume manga, "Final Fantasy Type-0 Side Story: Reaper of the Icy Blade". That means the younger versions of Kurasame Susaya, Kazusa Futahito, and Emina Hanaharu will appear in their Cadet times throughout random points, whether it be through a random photo, or even a flashback. Their younger appearances, if used, will be voiced by the same actor that was cast for those respective roles. A photo of Kurasame, Kazusa, and Emina as Cadets can be seen here: Kurasame, Kazusa, and Emina as Agito Cadets.

So, funny story, I've been forgetting to update the deadline! I just wanted to inform you all that the project is *not* over yet. Thank you!

Video Is Recorded
So, I've gone and recorded the video! You are still free to send in your samples from Chapter One. The deadline for the samples will be Monday, March 18th, at 10:00 PM. However, if you send the sample video/.mp3 file from up to a half-hour later, from a day late, to Tuesday, March 19th, then you can still have your sample in the video. If, for some reason, you cannot make the deadline, but would like to send samples, please reach out to me at "[email protected]". We can then arrange a better time for you to send them. Of course, when sending the samples in, do so at my Email address, which has been left above. Thank you! ~ AgitoAceXIII -
A Message to the Cast
Hello! I'm not sure who all will receive this message, but, I wanted to inform everyone that I've decided to make a new arrangement with the video I plan to upload to YouTube later! So, I was going to sample some lines for Ace, and put those in the video. But now, I have a better idea. If you'd like, you can submit a line or two (or as many as you'd like!) from the Chapter One script, and be included within the video with the sampled lines. All of the lines you include can be sent as .mp4 video files, or .mp3 audio files. I ask that you send both types of files to my Gmail account, which you can reach out to me, by sending the files to "[email protected]". With the files, please include your CCC username, the character you were casted for, and please include Sample in the file-name. Example: YourUserName - CastedCharacter (Sample). This makes it much easier to figure out the lines, and place them in order, for the video. In any case, thank you!
I'd like to see one previous script and/or FanFiction, however, I'm willing to accept anyone's writing, however, whoever is chosen to be the scriptwriter, will need to be in contact with me as most convenient.
Say something you think would fit
I'd like to see one previous animation, but otherwise, I'm accepting any animator's auditions! However, whoever is chosen will need to be in contact with me whenever convenient, and will need to keep tabs with me on progress. Thanks for understanding!
Say something you think would fit
There are things that I simply cannot do. Editing a video is among one of those things. However, with any one willing to be an editor, I (or, whoever chooses to write the script) can effectively send the script, and have everyone else involved send their parts, i.e., the animator sends his/her animations, and, the actors sends their voice clips, etc.
What I want is some form of proof that you help accomplish this. It would make me very happy. Other than that, the editor, along with the scriptwriter and animator, will need to keep in touch with me (by Twitter, Email, etc) whenever convenient, and, I'd like a little update on progress every so often.
Say something you think would fit
Diva, the narrator of the opening sequence. Presumably, she's one of the divine figures watching over Orience, but, we have no idea.
(deadpan) "Since the dawn of time, mankind hath sought that which cannot understand."
(still deadpan) "Four lights, four States. Rubrum, Wings of Fire to embrace the world. Milites, Arms of Steel to conquer anything in its path..."
(again, still deadpan) "Concordia, Voices of Harmony to set the law and order. Lorica, Shields of the Great, giving the seat of power mind and mentle, to work from."
Deuce is Class Zero's flutist, playing support melodies from behind the two attacking Cadets. She may have a crush on Ace, evidenced by her want to play in a duet with him singing, however, this has yet to happen. It's just strange.
While Deuce plays the flute in-game, the actress who is cast doesn't have to play the flute. If the voice actress, who is casted for the role of Deuce, wants to play the flute as for the character, I'll listen to your playing. However, if you are going to send a sample in, I'd like to know you can absolutely play. If the voice actress, who is casted for the role of Deuce, does not want to do the flute part and/or cannot play the flute, the game's audio shall be used instead. It's a matter of choice, on behalf of the actress.
[OPTIONAL] (flute playing, which is similar or the exact music Deuce can learn in the game)
(clearly embarrassed) "I...I don't have a crush on Ace!"
(confident) "I'll support everyone, no matter what!"
The know-it-all of Class Zero. His tendency to ramble while speaking annoys many, even down to his own Classmates. He's the archer of the group, able to attack from long range. Pretty useful, especially when he's not rambling about something.
(ramble about something random [preferablely foreshadowing the story], though do try to sound smart whilst doing so)
"Why, I have a vast amount of knowledge to choose from. What did you want to hear?"
"Care to be enlightened?"
The somewhat-of-a-sharpshooter girl of Class Zero. Her weapon is a Magicite gun, which is sorta inaccurate, but, hey, it still fucking works, for some reason. Anyway. She's okay, though we can't say if that's good or not.
"Wait, what? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Ugh...Trey, shut up!"
(getting gradually frustrated) "Ace...Ace! ACE! Wake up!"
The adorable Class Zero student, who may have been dropped on her head as a kid. She looks a lot like Aerith, and wields a mace...How cool is that?!
(disappointed) "Aww, man....I was looking forward to that..."
"Oooh...Chocobos. They look so tasty...Can I eat one?"
(curious) "Oh? I didn't hear anything about that..."
Probably the most vulgar girl in Class Zero. Often butts heads with Nine, and may or may not like him. However, we don't fucking know if she likes Seven, but she totally loves Kurasame. Ain't that fucked up? I mean, Sice is sixteen, and Kurasame is twenty-six. So yeah, ain't that fucked up?
"Shut the hell up and pay attention!"
"I'll kick your ass!"
"Imperial scumbags...!"
The big sister of Class Zero. She's nice and all, but she doesn't know how to say "no". For God's sake, what the hell?
"The future waits for no one...Can you keep up, you little shit?"
"I'll just walk this way, pretend I never saw that."
"I agree with Sice for once, but only on the fact that Nine's scruffy."
Eight's the shortest male in Class Zero, followed only by Ace (who is an inch taller). He hates being called "short", and, seriously packs a punch. Literally and figuratively. He likes Cater, however, it's unclear whether Cater shares the feeling. Either way, he's a martial artist, so he's able to pack a punch and deliver fierce kicks.
"I'm telling you, I'm not short!"
"Heh...Eight-er and Cater...Our names are really alike!"
"What? I didn't catch that, did you say punch or kick the guy?"
Nine, the scruffiest guy in Class Zero. He has a common tendency to end his sentences with "yo" or "hey", and seriously picks fights with Sice. May or may not like Sice. He's gotta nice lance, and that makes him quite effective on the basis of CQC (close-quarters-combat), because he has a slightly longer reach than most of the close-combat oriented characters (that being Cinque, Eight, Jack, Queen, Machina, and Rem...Exceptions to this, are Sice and Seven). He can also toss that lance as though it were a javelin, but that's later in the game, when you unlock the ability, yo.
Note: Nine's desired accent (Canadian), is purely a joke. I will accept any type of accent, actually. The joke of the accent, is that in the actual game, Nine's English voice actor describes him as a "Canadian thug". As previously stated, I'll accept any accent, even though the desired accent is listed as Canadian. Thanks for understanding.
(confident, and somewhat cocky) "Bring it, bitch!"
(slightly frustrated) "What'd you say about me, yo? Hey, yo!"
(unseriously) "Uh...You'd better pay attention to the mission orders, 'cause I was napping, hey."
Jack, the class clown of Class Zero. Fucking hell, when he was his weapon drawn, he's a god damn slowpoke!...Anyway, he wields a katana. Ain't that cool? Uh...He has a porn collection, which he wants to hide from the females of Akademeia, however, Jack lets Trey, Eight, Nine, and King borrow it, though states that Trey's interests are "one-sided". Might like Deuce (how awkward).
(cheerful) "Hey, guys, we can do it!"
(confused) "What? How'd that thing survive?"
(snickering, though trying to stay serious) "Yeah...Trey's interests are one-sided, alright."
Queen. She's known as the Class Leader (in the English version) and as the Class President (in the Japanese version). However, she doesn't like to be called "Class Leader and/or Class President", but still. She's smart like Trey, however, she's quicker to the point. She might like Ace, but it's possible she might like Nine, too, which makes no sense, because Queen's actually smart and Nine is rather questionable.
(sternly) "Who said I was the Class Leader?...Or Class President, based on translations. Either way, I'm not the Class Leader!"
"Hmph! It's just too easy."
"Trey, please...Keep it short."
King, Class Zero's quietest member. He tends to not speak, but when he does, it's usually in wisdom, or, in an argument, or sometimes (spoilers ahead), in just plain question. He wields a pair of handguns, which makes him really useful.
"...Hmph. We're ready to go."
"Class Zero, commencing maneuvers..." (pause, then seem confused) "...What?"
"That's ridiculous...Even by your standards, Jack."
Machina, the most emo kid in Class Zero. He constantly worries about Rem, and wields a pair of two oversized screws- Ahem, rapiers.
(with some drama) "Rem!"
"Alright, we're all ready."
"Rem? Is that really you?"
Rem, the one who can be dangerous to the enemy with her magic. She's a little sick, however, she hides this from her new Classmates and even Machina. She wields a pair of daggers, alongside her lethal magic.
"Oh, Machina! It's been seven years..."
(slight coughing) "It's okay, I promise."
"Everything's going to be alright. I promise."
Kurasame Susaya, a former Agito Cadet from Class First, is the current CO of Class Zero. He's stern, but he's fair. He sees his younger self in Class Zero, and thus, tries to prevent them from walking his path. His former exploits as a Cadet earned him a place in the Four Champions of Rubrum, and, his strong ability with ice magic earned him the nickname the "Ice Reaper". The mask he wears covers a scar, of the past...
"Cadet Machina, Cadet Rem!...Report!" (brief silence, then get frustrated) "I said report!"
"By the Crystals..." (frustrated sigh) "What's your problem?!"
Kazusa Futahito, described by Emina Hanaharu (and many others) as "the creepiest creeper in all of Akademeia". He's a great scientist, however, his creepiness makes him...Well, nearly unapproachable. As a result, he'll drug, or, rather, sedate anyone he sees as a "good subject", using gas. He commonly does this to Kurasame, and has an unhealthy obsession with the male body
(interested) "Oh...? What a fascinating young man you are."
(assuringly) "I promise, Kurasame, it wasn't as powerful as the one I use on you!...Though it would appear I must up the dosage...." (evil snickering)
Emina Hanaharu, described by Kazusa Futahito (and presumably many others), "the most beautiful girl in all of Akademeia". She's a little sassy on the tone sometimes, however, she's close friends with both Kurasame and Kazusa. She's often admired, and many Cadets try their best to score a date with the woman. However, she figuratively loves the Cadets in Class Zero, even remarking how she wishes she had her own class like Class Zero. It's also rumored that she collects swimsuits....But, don't let this fool you. She's got something to hide...
"My, what a cute bunch you are!"
"I'm sorry, did you want me to get naked so you can search me? Hah! Certainly not happening!"
"Kazusa Futahito. Still being the creepiest creeper in all of Akademeia?"
The 175th Chancellor of Rubrum, Chancellor Chival VI doesn't have much of a role within Type-0. Aside from small bits of dialogue, he's not very important in the story. Here, his minor role is retained, however, he'll be breaking the fourth wall every so often. Because why not?
"May the Crystal...guide them to..." (pause) "...What's my line again, director?"
"Let us trust in the guidance of the Crystals..." (pause) "...Doesn't that sound funny, director?"
"I see you've finished the script-- I mean, the combat report." (laugh a little, half-heartedly or nervously for bonus points) "Sheesh, that was terrible, wasn't it, director?"
Arecia Al-Rashia, the head Archsorcress in Rubrum. She is a fal'Cie, and this is unknown to many in Rubrum, aside from the Chancellor, and presumably, the Dominion of Rubrum's l'Cie, Lord Zhuyu Voghfau Brot, the Dominion's Primus l'Cie and Lady Caetuna, the Dominion's Secundus l'Cie. (Note: The l'Cie won't show up this time, but, in the future.) She's also the adoptive mother of Class Zero, aside from Machina and Rem. She's also one of the few Final Fantasy characters to smoke. Like the Chancellor, she'll also break the fourth wall, but, a whole lot less than him, and often times, this will confuse Class Zero.
"Chancellor. The Milites Empire has destroyed the Lorican Alliance." (pause) "...Sound about right, director?"
(sternly) "My children are superior to you. You two aren't special."
"Script? Chancellor, what are you talking about, hmm?"
Izana Kunagiri, the guy who'll mistake a boy for a girl, and in the secret ending- Whoops! I can't spoil that.
Anyway, he dies, then reappears in flashbacks, because flashbacks are cool, right?
(as though thinking inside your head) "...That blonde kid looks like a woman. A real pretty one too..."
(embarrassed) "Oh, shit! I didn't realize you were standing there...Heh."
"Wait, so, you're actually a guy...?"
The soft-spoken Aria is an Orderly for the Dominion, serving Class Zero by selling them items before missions. She may not speak a lot, but, she is rather foul-mouthed. Although these colors aren't seen of Aria until later, for the sake of being an idiot, we're just going to put that foul-mouthed Orderly ahead, 'cause why not?
(quiet mumbling, though there doesn't need to be any particular subject)
"What? You fricking fricks say I can't say anything?"
(quietly mumbling, "Can I help you?", after a brief pause, turn from quiet to at least normal speaking voice, or even a slight yell) "Hey, you, why the hell didn't you buy anything?"
Quite possibly the greediest girl in Akademeia, her role in Chapter 2 is tiny, if anything. However, that's okay, because why not? It works, I tell ya what.
She'll break the fourth wall once one in this one, however, since her role is near the end...It'll make sense, I swear.
"Oooh, shiny gil! Can I have some? Please...?"
"I promise, I'll pay you back!...Later."
"Uh, wait a minute, writer, where are the cameos, director?"
Ah, yes, Naghi, that one role I *completely* forgot about. So, uh...I guess what we'll say, is Naghi is an Agito Cadet in Class Ninth, Uh...I guess Naghi'll be a metal-fan. Yeah? Sounds good to me.
...Remind me later to not be a dumbass and forget characters?
"So, yeah, the director pretty much forgot about me, so I'm just here."
(long, and exaggerated) "What!...You guys must be really new if you don't know who I am!"
(convincingly) "Hey, what a coincidence that I run into my friends from Class Zero!"
(half-seriously) "Hey...Help me remind the director to not be a dumbass and forget characters?"
Ah, yes, Enra, another role I forgot to add. Well, shit. Anyway, he has a huge crush on Rem, and for the shits and giggles, will probably cock-block Machina a lot. He's from Class First. Yeah. that's right, THE Class First. Jealous?
"O-Oh, hey Remmy--Erm, I mean, Remski...I mean, Rem." [awkward chuckle] "I just wanted to drink you--Er, I mean, your potion!"
"Look, there's something important I want to talk to Rem about, so tell her to come and see me..."
"Shit, man, I sense an uncanny reference, and I don't like it...By the way, have you seen Rem?"
Claes Celestia Misca Sancest, also known by her shortened name, Celestia. She's a Five-Star Warden, and that means she's got a place in both the Concordian government (run by females) and the Concordian military. She's has a son, and his name is Claudio Tonogiri Misca Sancest, or, shortened to Tonogiri. However, Tonogiri appears in Chapter 7...Which we're not covering this time.
Anyway, back to Celestia. She's also the diplomatic ambassador of Concordia's queen, Queen Andoria Kaya Tranka Fam Forturio. However, the Queen appears in Chapter 3, which isn't being covered this time. Heh...
Celestia makes an appearance in Chapter 2, where she speaks to Deuce, on a diplomatic mission to speak to Chancellor Khalia Chival VI, however, she doesn't know where to go. Therefore, Celestia's role in this "episode", will be minor. Like the Chancellor, she'll break the fourth wall, too. She's not the leader of Concordia, however, she'll do it anyway. Because I can, and want to.
(mezzo-forte-esque tone) "Hello, I must speak to the Chancellor. Can you lead me to him?"
(slight snickering, though more in a more serious tone) "...Yes, can you tell us where to go? The audience expects it."
"Hmm? Audience? I did not say anything. Please, carry on."
Moglin, Cinque's favorite nickname for the Moogle. Officially, ze is known as MOOGLE, or, Military Operations Organization/Guidance Logistics Expert, however, you may know zir by his shortened name, Mog. However, in dismay to Cinque calling hir Moglin, ze objected by saying ze has a real name, and once Cinque asks what it is, he responds "Hatzkhaminei Lowtoyosna Eripulci". Finding the name too hard to say, Cinque sticks with Moglin, and the nickname sticks. Ze serves as the means of Class Zero's mission briefing, and often relays orders via the COMM device, while the Cadets are on the field.
Having no particular gender, the only pronouns stated in the game are "ze" and "hir", therefore hir gender is never explicitly stated.
As with most Moogles, hir might end his sentences with "Kupo!"
However, what makes hir completely different, is not only that hir will break the fourth way, but, that hir is self-aware, and hir may often foreshadow the Cadets' eventual fates.
"No, kupo! No "lin", kupo!" (sigh) "Kupo..."
(OPTIONAL LINE) "I have a real name, kupo!" (pause) "It's Hatzkhaminei Lowtoyosna Eripulci, kupo!"
"I know your fates, kupo! However, it's my duty to state that would be spoiling the story, kupo!"
Cid Aulstyne, the Marshal of the Milites Empire. He seeks to invade the world of Orience, however, his motives are generally unknown. He's the villain of this story, however, it is possible that he's not the villain...Perhaps he's the hero?
His cause may be noble, but the execution of the cause is not quite as so. However...
...Who can judge a man promising change?
(with enthusiasm) "Yes, that's right! This is the dawn of a new age!"
"Tell Qun'mi we will no longer require her inferior services."
(with a slight growl in the voice) "Our new age is upon us!"
Qator Bashtar, is a Brigadier General for the Empire. He earned his rapid promotions, due to Cid Aulstyne, who values merit over background. He's often questioning Cid's orders and motives, however, carries out his missions nonetheless. His prowess in battle have earned him nicknames like "White Thunder", "The White Reaper", and "The Unscathed".
He's a respectable man, and will do everything he can to complete his mission, even bringing up "reprisal".
(confused) "Is that...really the best thing to do?"
"Consider it done, Marshal Aulstyne."
(disappointed) "So you abandoned your comrades, your brothers-in-arms?"
The rather brash Qun'mi became a l'Cie rather quickly, however, has yet to lose her humanity like other l'Cie. In the opening mission, she pilots a Magitek Armor, called Dáinsleif, which has an onboard Crystal jammer.
One of her favorite things to say, is something along the lines of "this sucks". Seriously, this isn't a damn joke!
(disappointed) "Hmph. Well, this sucks."
"Hey, can you guys at least make this battle not suck? Thanks."
"Ugh. This battle sucks. Well, revival time, bitches!"
A cameo character, who will later appear within the series. He comes off as blunt and informal, and, in Type-0, his identity is cleverly hidden through a hood...
Freaky.
"Maybe, Tiz." (act as though you've fallen down, perhaps an "Oof")
A cameo character, who will later appear within the series. She comes off as meek and mysterious, and, in Type-0, her identity is cleverly hidden through a hood...
Freaky.
"...Joker, will this be continued?"
A cameo character, who will later appear within the series. He's a l'Cie, so he's powerful. He's got a flame axe and all, so...Anyway. For now, however, his role is small. He'll probably shove Joker in the end, because...y'know.
(roughly and grizzly) "And what if it's not?"
Caetuna...She'll be a cameo character, of course, who'll reappear later in the series. She's mysterious and soft-spoken. And, she speaks in riddles, even hiding in the shadows. She's a summoner, but I'm not allowed to say anymore.
(quietly) "Hmm...Then, perhaps, the director should reconsider. We're too important to forget about..."
Nimbus, the terrifying (and overpowered) Primus l'Cie...He'll be featured later in this series, however, his role in this one will be as a cameo. You know. Just because.
(deep, intimidating voice [bonus points for a deep baritone], with a slight bit of sadness) "...Our director, for now, says he'd like to do another. We're always ready for actors to submit their voices...Anyway, someone tell the director he's an asshat, and should continue this series, because I really, really, don't want to be forgotten. Goodbye...for now."
The standard grunts of the Milites Empire. They're the riflemen of the Empire, and they're commonly deployed on the Empire's missions, honestly, will commonly break the fourth wall in the presence of the Cadets, at least, Class Zero's Cadets. They shoot on sight of a Cadet, and, you know, they're pretty weak and easy to beat. Heh...They're encountered throughout the game, so, yeah.
(with a soldier-like voice) "Glory, to the Militesi Empire!"
"Glory, to the..." (slight pause) "...Uh, director, what's my line?"
"Down with Rubrum!" (little pause, then become confused) "Wait, why do we want Rubrum to fall, again?"
The next level of Militesi grunts. They're a little less common then Militesi riflemen, but, they're usually commanding a small group. Most Supersoldiers tend to attack at close-range, but can attack at long-range, too. They're going to break the fourth wall a little less commonly than the riflemen, but still.
(with a soldier-like voice) "Glory, to the Militesi Empire!... And....whatever our damn cause is, I guess. I don't get paid enough for this."
"Glory, to the..." (slight pause) "...Uh, director, what's my line? I can't remember it, god damn it."
"Down with Rubrum!" (little pause, then become confused) "Wait, why do we want Rubrum to fall, again? Is it for their resources or for their Cystral? God damn it, this is the worst!"
Imperial grunts who wield rocket launchers, particularly RPG-155 rocket launchers. They fire at the Cadets, but, let's be practical, rocket launchers are better used against vehicles, but the Dominion only use airships and chocobos, but, you know, we're not gonna use the Dominion's airships, so...I dunno, maybe they'll shoot at the chocobos, I guess.
"Steady, steady!...Aww, damn it, they're out of range."
"Fire, fire!" (pause) "Wait, what are we shooting at?"
"RPG One-Five-Five gunners, get ready!"
Ah, yes, the Shock Troopers. They wield shields, that are basically like riot shields, and some kinda axe-thing. Anyway, they may break the fourth wall, you know.
"Shields, deploy!" (pause) "...We set up in the wrong place."
"Keep pressing on!" (sigh) "Never mind, you're all dead."
"I swear, I'm surrounded by idiots...And fools who'll get themselves killed."
Ah, yes, the Imperial officer...Uh, I forgot they existed in Chapter Two, heh...So, yeah. They'll be like the rest of the Imperial soldiers.
"Soldiers, stand your ground!"
"Come on, men, let's show the director we're not Militesi cannon fodder!"
"Soldier! What are you doing?! That's against the director's rules!"
