Elf 2 (Unproduced Screenplay) Script Reading Podcast
Project Overview
Hi everyone. I am the co-host of a podcast called Cancelled Movie Report. We take screenplays from movies that were in production or post production - but were then cancelled - and then recreate them as a podcast.
This particular episode is all about the cancelled sequel to the movie ELF. We are looking for a couple of key roles to fill.
There are some key scenes we are hoping to recreate from the original script for the project and need some big characters brought to life!
We have previously done audio recreations for Jurassic Park 4, Superman Lives and Star Wars: Duel of the Fates!

We are looking for a Will Ferrell sound-alike to capture the spirit of Buddy the Elf! In this film Buddy goes through a crisis of faith and attempts to become a regular person, but the Christmas joy inside him is just too much!
Okay, now stop. You're already wrong. Santa doesn't build the toys, Lenny. Ming Ming oversees all factory designs and production lines constructions. Let's take it from the top! And this time, let's try not to sound totally fake. C'mon Mall Santas! Let's focus! These kids need us!
Yep. Brian Hobbs. That's my new name. Sounds pretty regular, doesn't it? I'll tell you, being normal isn't easy! I don't know how you do it. My place is here now. My daughter needs me to be normal. I'm no longer an Elf.
Papa Elf is Buddy's father figure in the movie. He is played by Bob Newhart and we are looking for someone that can do a similar folksy narration for this story.

New York was their favourite city, but there was one thing Buddy and his family were missing: A back yard. And so, Buddy, Lovie and Susie set their sights on a whole new world - The suburbs.
Leon The Snowman is a stop motion animated snowman voiced by Leon Bedbone. He has a Southern twang when he talks. Think Colonel Sanders as a snowman!
Listen, we've got an emergency up North. The South Pole elves have really hit us where it hurts this year. Santa has sent for you, Buddy. We need your help.
... And after that, I dissolved into a cumulus cloud and used the wind currents to guide me through the sky, until I reached your town. Once I saw your house, I snow-flaked myself down into your yard, rolled myself up and here I am.
