        Hello! I am Kisara Garalde.  I have been a musician, singer, actress, and music director in the DC Metro area for over 25 years and I am branching out into voice acting. I am a pianist(classically trained), vocalist(mezzo-soprano), and a drummer. I also dance a little in jazz, musical theater, and ballroom styles.  My age range is 20-50 and my vocal range is C3-A5.         I studied and performed music and theater for over 25 years and music directed shows for over 15 years.  I started learning to play piano at 5 years old, tried my hand at singing at 12 years old, started acting/dancing at 13 years old and by then had decided that this was the path I wanted to walk. I'm a part-time voice-actor / narrator with past experience of backstage theatre and audio engineering. I'm also an experienced singer (both rock and choral) and drummer (rock, not choral).
I only audition for roles that I know I can do well; I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I like to really get behind the character / message - I don't see any point in submitting something that I don't believe will be at least close to exactly what you're looking for - that'd be a waste of time for both of us!  I actively encourage being directed - remotely or live; if what you hear isn't quite what you want, let me know! Born in Bromley, South East London, I began my musical and theatrical training at the age of 6. I played Cello, Clarinet and Drums in ensembles, orchestras, sang in choirs and ensembles and took part in theater groups.At the age of 17, after auditioning for the musical Rent, I received my first solo coaching to prepare for the role of Collins.
