Wrath of Freege: Fire Emblem Comic Dub
Project Overview
Hello, and thank you for your interest in this casting call! This casting call is for my newest comic dub in the works, Wrath of Freege! This will be involving characters from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. No worries if you don’t know that much about FE for auditioning: I will be helping the cast out making sure to bring the best out of everyone! The comic dub will be uploaded to my YouTube channel once completed. Just to inform everyone, this is an unpaid comic dub just to make that clear from the start.
Audition Instructions
1. For each audition line, max 2 takes per line.
2. Be sure to have a few seconds of silence per take, no need to slate
3. No need to do a lot of audio touchup; want to have a good idea of the raw audio quality I am working with! XLR quality is recommended, but not the norm, especially if you have good sound quality with a USB mic.
4. I am not picky between WAV or MP3, so feel free to send it to me in whichever file format you prefer!

Profile: Playable character in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, and thunder mage from House Freege. She joins Sigurd’s Army during their siege of Agustria
Personality: She is a bubbly and bright girl who doesn’t really wish to involve herself in complicated politics, especially involving her antagonistic father, Reptor.
Director’s Note: I have a link to the vocal reference below, but don’t be discouraged from putting your own spin on her. Ideally, something more on the higher feminine pitch side would be optimal. Think of her as a bubbly and bright little sister, and you’d have a great starting point!
Tailtiu’s Lines from Fire Emblem Heroes

[Before beginning a fight in the arena versus the arena champion, she engages in a bit of casual banter with him in a playfully mischievous tone.] Line: “Come on big guy! Let’s just have a little fun, ‘kay?”
[Attempting to end the fight in one blow, the arena champion strikes at Tailtiu hard, sending her flying into the wall of the arena. However, to everyone’s surprise, she stands, banged up, but able to continue. With a bit of adrenaline in her veins from the fight, she projects her voice across the ring, almost as if saying “Is that all you got?!”] Line: “Big guy, don’t try acting all cool thinking you could pull a fast one on me. I’m stronger than I look!”
[Following her line from above, she’s preparing to unleash a devastating Thoron spell to respond back to the devastating blow she received threefold. Just before she unleashes it, she puts up a smile before telling the arena champion not to take what happens next personally.] Line: “Now… (smiles) don’t take this personally, ‘kay?”
Profile: Playable character in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, fire mage from House Velthomer, and childhood friend to Tailtiu. He joins Sigurd’s army during Sigurd’s mission to rescue Aideen from House Jungby from brigands in Verdanne.
Personality: Azelle is a shy and studious boy; he is a bit soft spoken, possibly stemming from the fact that he feels like he is living in the shadow of his elder brother, Arvis.
Director’s Note: For the context of this comic dub, I wanted to leave the role of Azelle open to voice actors of all genders. In terms of the vocal register, something akin to Azelle’s Japanese voice, or around the register of Cristina Vee’s Xingqiu from Genshin Impact.

[Azelle and Sigurd were outside the arena when they bore witness to Tailtiu’s devastating counter attack to the arena champion. In a bit of disbelief, Sigurd calmly as possible asks if Tailtiu is finished. With a bit of a concerned laugh, Azelle says yes, though at the same time, he is wishing Tailtiu could hold herself back instead of going for an overkill.] Line: “(concerned laugh) Yes, Lord Sigurd. Honestly, I wish she could hold back a bit…”
Director’s Note: This role is a bit unique, because I am looking for several voice actors to take part in playing the role of people in the arena crowd. The purpose of this role is to assist in adding richness to the arena ambiance to help make the scene come alive. I have 3 sample lines for all voice actors to use for the auditions, but each voice actor I will personalize their lines to make the arena walla sound more natural.
