Demo reels will be considered for both the roles listed on this casting call, and additional roles not listed here, though they may not be considered as heavily as specific auditions.

Not much can be said about OMORI's personality, as he is a silent protagonist. However, it is implied that he is quite melancholic, as his narration sometimes has gloomy inputs and his final battle dialogue is directly talking down to SUNNY. His abilities are also reflective of this gloominess, being either violent in nature or simply gaining SAD or having an advantage while SAD. However, it can be speculated that this is moreso reflective of SUNNY's emotional state, as OMORI is a character built from SUNNY'S conscience in WHITE SPACE and HEADSPACE.

OMORI is 12 years old, therefore his voice should have a youthful tone while still remaining deadpan. His unemotional line delivery should clash with his young voice.

His REAL WORLD counterpart is SUNNY.

OMORI has a reserved tone of voice. He should not sound like he is whispering or have an ASMR tone.

SUNNY was described as a shy but kind boy. BASIL described SUNNY as a "really good listener" and although he was timid, SUNNY cared about his friends and they got along well. SUNNY is said to have "a great memory". After SOMETHING happened, he turns from shy to reclusive and cuts himself off completely from his friends and the world, becoming a hikikomori for several years.

SUNNY has a mild and reserved personality. He does not express much emotion, so his lines should be more subtle in their delivery.

SUNNY is 16, so while he could have a tone anywhere from child-like to semi-mature, he should not sound like a fully grown adult.

His HEADSPACE counterpart is OMORI.

SUNNY has a reserved tone of voice. He should not sound like he is whispering or have an ASMR tone.

During his youth, KEL is a bit bratty, impulsive and rude, always getting into little tiffs with his friends. He is very competitive by nature, always wanting to win games or races, and is indeed very energetic and fast. He also thinks romance is gross and that girls have cooties. However, even though he is loud and likes to annoy his friends, he genuinely cares about and protects them. KEL appears to share a strong bond with his brother HERO and occasionally bickers with AUBREY over petty disagreements over minor topics. He even sees the quiet SUNNY as someone who is a great person and believes the best in him.

HEADSPACE KEL is 12 to 13. He is an extremely high-energy and childish individual, and that should be reflected in his voice. This version of KEL should sound like a child.

His REAL WORLD counterpart is KEL.

The present-day KEL still retains his happy demeanor but appears more mature and understanding towards others. He is very social and likes talking with strangers when SUNNY is busy with jobs. He constantly tries to help others in-need, which could often lead him to making rash choices at times. Regardless, KEL desires to reconnect with his old friends, notably when he encourages SUNNY to be more active and healthy. He even tries to understand AUBREY's reasons for her anger and repeatedly protects BASIL from bullies as well.

REAL WORLD KEL is around 16-17. His voice can be anywhere from medium to low pitched. His enthusiasm should be kept, but to a lesser degree than his younger self.

His HEADSPACE counterpart is KEL.

During her youth, AUBREY is very cheerful and is always happy to play with her friends. Despite this, she becomes sad and worried quite easy, such as being the most anxious when BASIL goes missing. Often she is clumsy, resulting in yelling from KEL, who she always fights with. She is also shown to be very emotional at times when something bad happens but still retains her happy lucky-go attitude. These traits are shared with her HEADSPACE counterpart, albeit slightly different with her puppy love persona towards OMORI.

Out of the four friends, AUBREY is the one who shows the most emotion. While she doesn't necessarily overreact to things, she is not afraid of showing whether or not she's happy or upset.

HEADSPACE AUBREY is around 12-13. She should should like a child.

Her REAL WORLD counterpart is AUBREY.

In the REAL WORLD, after finding out about MARI's death, she began coping through having strong feelings of hatred against her old friend group, interpreting their reactions as them moving on too quickly. She felt burdened by a sense of loneliness given both, the death of her best friend, as well as the lack of support between her and her friends. She turned short tempered and violent, taking those bursts out on others, one of the main victims of her bullying being BASIL with THE HOOLIGANS. She's cold and hostile to her old friends at first, not afraid to fight them. Even so, she's trying to find peace by praying.

REAL WORLD AUBREY is around 16-17. She should have a cool and collected voice when unprovoked, but extremely emotional when angry or upset, even more so than HEADSPACE AUBREY. Her voice can be medium to high pitched, but she should not sound like an adult.

Her HEADSPACE counterpart is AUBREY.

Line 1 occurs while AUBREY is having an emotional outburst. Everything she has been holding back for years is coming out in a single moment. Please express these emotions in your audition.

During his youth, HERO is the peacemaker of the group, who tries to restrain his friends whenever they get too worked up. He is described as having a mild personality and passionate in domestic work like baking, cooking and cleaning, making him an ideal employee. HERO also has a charismatic side that he uses to charm others. His charisma allows him to convince others to go along with his requests, get discounts from MAILBOX and befriend animals like EMS. However, he can sometimes be a pushover when confronted, and has difficulty refusing others. He also appears to have arachnophobia (an irrational fear of spiders) to the point of freezing up completely.

HEADSPACE HERO has a mild personality. Being the oldest, he is the role-model of the group and therefore has more of a mature tone compared to his friends.

HERO is around 15 years old. His voice can be anywhere from low to medium pitched, but he should not sound like an adult. 

His REAL WORLD counterpart is HERO.

In the present, HERO still retains his amicable, warm-hearted persona during his adulthood. He is well-loved by the folks of FARAWAY and admired for his charisma as well. He notably possesses a talent in succeeding in virtually everything he tries, though he admits his reputation is heavily exaggerated. HERO is rather calm and understanding towards anyone he meets, even trying to comfort them in times of distress. This was shown when he comforted AUBREY and helped her reconcile with KEL, SUNNY, and BASIL.

Despite this, he is rather mellowed down in terms of personality, mostly due to suffering from depression over MARI's death and trying to get his life back on track. HERO also appears to keep his emotions in check most of the time, although he does get deeply emotional whenever he remembers MARI's presence. Regardless, HERO still tries to remain strong for his friends and will do anything to make sure they feel comfortable and safe.

Real world HERO is approximately 19-20 years old and is a college student. He should have a medium to low pitched mature voice. He should not sound like a child.

His HEADSPACE counterpart is HERO.

BASIL is depicted as a relatively shy and socially anxious boy, well seen right after being introduced to the friend group, being very insecure and fearing of being perceived as a burden. He enjoys taking pictures, as his memories with his friends are his most treasured belonging, perceiving them as a way to permanently capture the moment. He also enjoys taking care of flowers, art, and reading. Basil seems to develop strong emotional attachments to many of his possessions, mentioning "He will never throw away anything, no matter how worthless it is."

He's very sentimental, keeping memorabilia of his friends and happy memories through photos, and planting flowers that remind him of his friends, taking great care to plant flowers with flower language corresponding to how he sees his friends. His empathy stretches to his plants as well, showing a lot of worries when they're in danger of being hurt, and talking to them as he would with his friends. It is noted that he avoids conflict. He doesn't learn to battle, even after his friends nag him to.

HEADSPACE BASIL is a very soft-spoken character and his words should have a hint of anxiety behind them. Despite this, he should still have a cheerful persona.

BASIL is around 12-13 years old. His voice should be medium to high pitched, and he should not sound like an adult.

His REAL WORLD counterpart is BASIL.

Compared to HEADSPACE BASIL, the real-world version is more anxious and sensitive. He appears to fear major changes in his life and finds the most comfort in maintaining his reality as "uncompromised" as possible. This can be observed through analyzing his logic, when helping SUNNY with the shielding of MARI's death, often mentioning when referring to SUNNY "he did it, in hopes of things becoming fixable".

This could also explain his sense of comfort behind physical possessions making him recall pleasant memories. He is a target for bullying, typically by AUBREY and her friends, but usually KEL and SUNNY save him from the harassment. In some scenes, such as when he locks himself in his room, he appears to be more closed off than usual. Due to being a witness to MARI's murder, it can be inferred that he suffers from guilt or worse, possibly in the form of SOMETHING.

This version of BASIL is much more nervous and volatile than HEADSPACE BASIL. He should always seem nervous, but shouldn't stutter outside of when indicated in dialogue.

REAL WORLD BASIL 16-17 years old. His voice could be medium to high pitched. He should not sound like an adult.

The voice actor chosen for this role will also voice STRANGER.

Line 2 happens at the climax of BASIL's emotional arc. He should be at his most intense in this moment. He should sound like he's in the middle of a mental breakdown.

She's often spoken of as being kind and gentle, and plays a sisterly role in the friend group with SUNNY,  HERO, KEL, AUBREY, and BASIL. Her first appearance shows she has a mischievous side, poking fun at KEL and AUBREY's mannerisms and afterwards teasing HERO. These traits are shared with her HEADSPACE counterpart.

MARI is 15-16 years old. She should have a medium to high pitched voice. She should not sound like an adult.

This role will also be voicing SOMETHING.

BERLY is characterized by her tendency to grumble when she talks. She is quick to snap at others, shown when she kicks both MIKAL and KEL when they ignore role call after playing hide-and-seek. She is especially boastful about her headbutting skills and often picks at others for her own amusement. Shown to be self-centered and confident, her language is rather immature and consists of primarily slang.

KIM is shown to be a tomboy at heart, often engaging in rowdy antics and encouraging her friends to go along with her plans. She often expresses herself in a rather arrogant manner as seen when she confronts KEL and SUNNY without any hesitation. She also appears to have a good bond with her brother VANCE. She often grumbles in the same way her father does.

Despite her unruly disposition, she is shown to be capable of showing kindness towards those she is close to. This is most evident with AUBREY when she comforted her when the latter felt devastated over MARI's death. Even during the present, KIM still continues looking after AUBREY's well-being. She also warms up to the group on the final day, where she tells SUNNY that moving won't turn out to be bad after all.

BERLY is KIM's HEADSPACE counterpart, and vice versa for BERLY's REAL WORLD counterpart. Because BERLY is younger than KIM, she should therefore sound younger as well. 

VANCE is shown to be rather gruff and blunt at times when dealing with new people. He often tends to support his sister KIM in anything she plans to do, mostly to make sure she feels happy. Despite his menacing appearance, VANCE holds no grudges against anyone that his sister confronts and actually possesses a kind heart deep down.

Despite their different demeanors, VANCE and KIM both share a love for candy, to the point of repeatedly attempting to shoplift the candy store to get their fix. Taffy in particular is one of their favorites, and becomes a deal breaker when KEL tries to bribe them with a big bag of candy.

VAN and VANCE are each other's counterparts in HEADSPACE and REAL WORLD respectively. 

VAN is a child, but could have a voice from anywhere to high or low pitched. He should sound like a gentle giant.

Despite VANCE's mature appearance, he is only a year older than KIM. Therefore he should have a low voice, but should not sound like a fully grown adult. 

ANGEL is shown to be very energetic and easy to get into fights. Having a passion for picking fights with other people, ANGEL has no fear when it comes to confronting those that are stronger than him. He also has an interest in collecting new cards and games to entertain himself.

However, his older sister ARTIST appears to be the only person ANGEL directly fears. Another note is that ANGEL heavily respects THE MAVERICK, looking up to him to the point of trying to mimic some of his moves occasionally.

ANGEL should sound like an anime protagonist. Overly enthusiastic about fighting and even overreacting to things. His range could be anywhere from high to low, but he should not sound like a fully grown adult.

He and NEB are REAL WORLD and HEADSPACE counterparts respectively.

MIKHAEL tends to demonstrate an exaggerated personality during most of his encounters, often making flashy poses and using dramatic speech patterns in ordinary conversation. He also tends to be a bit of a showoff, paying girls to hang around him so he can tell stories of how great he is. Despite showing disregard towards his family's tradition of baking bread, MIKHAEL secretly admits that he might return to his old tradition someday.

Because MIKHAEL is related to BOWEN, he and MIKAL should have an ENGLISH accent. Alternatively, he may have a different accent when addressing others, but have an English accent when talking to himself.

MIKHAEL, or more known as THE MAVERICK, should sound like an anime protagonist, or a kid who is trying his best to act like a suave adult(and possibly failing to do so). His voice could be anywhere for medium to low pitched.

MIKAL should have a range between medium and high pitched and sound like a child.

MIKHAEL and MIKAL are their REAL WORLD and HEADSPACE counterparts respectively.

While she only appears once in the game, SUNNY'S MOM frequently leaves voicemails for her son, asking how SUNNY is doing and how his packing is going. Though never seen in person, it can be inferred that she cares a lot about her son, as she leaves sticky notes around the house to remind him to take care of himself and calls him regularly to check up on him. She knows what his favorite food is and recommends talking to his friends before the family moves out.

SUNNY'S MOM should sound cheerful for the most part, as a way to try and keep positive for both her son and herself. However, there should also be a layer of melancholy underneath.

Little is known about SUNNY'S DAD, as he is only mentioned passingly and never shows up in any meaningful capacity. At some point, he married SUNNY'S MOM and had a daughter, MARI, and years later a son named SUNNY. They lived in a house in FARAWAY beside KEL and HERO's house. It is unknown what his job was, though he is said to have needed a laptop for work.

SUNNY notes various things about his father, such as that he gave SUNNY his computer, that he took his family on vacations and collected souvenirs, that he and SUNNY'S MOM collected books which were "gathering dust," that he sleeps on the right side of his bed, that he grew bonsai trees, that he and his wife didn't allow SUNNY to look in their wardrobe, and that he watched TV but got mad when the remote went missing.

In the PHOTO ALBUM, BASIL's annotation of a photo of HERO and MARI sleeping together on the couch notes that "MARI's dad might be kind of mad if he saw it," implying that he may have been disapproving of MARI and HERO's relationship.

After MARI's death, he was the one to cut down the tree from which her body was hung. This is implied in one of the letter segments in HEADSPACE, in which a black outline of SUNNY'S DAD is shown continuously chopping at a tree. This same segment has SUNNY'S DAD claim that SUNNY is not his son, though whether this is something he actually said or something SUNNY imagined out of guilt is unknown.

While the accent notated is Latin American, it is not necessary.

KEL'S DAD appears to be more laid-back and less strict than his wife, often able to get a laugh out of things that may have irritated others. He shares this trait with KEL. When he is spoken to in FIX-IT, he first questions why his son is there before laughing it off and promising not to report back to his wife that KEL was fooling around. He refers to KEL as "champ" and seems to be on good terms with him.

While the accent noted is Latin American, it is not necessary for his character.

As a caregiver, POLLY is shown to be kind and nurturing, as shown when she treats SUNNY and KEL to dinner. She regularly concerns herself over the well-being of both BASIL and BASIL'S GRANDMA. Though polite and forgiving, she worries that others consider her taste in food plain and often makes more than just a few people can eat, thus being happy when SUNNY and KEL are able to also enjoy her food. When BASIL goes missing, she immediately goes to KEL'S HOUSE hoping KEL can find him.

POLLY should have a gentle voice. It is implied that she has some self-loathing issues. She should not sound like a child or teenager.

The SHOPKEEP is a man with short brown hair, glasses, and a yellow t-shirt with some green symbol on it. He is at the register for HOBBEEZ, and you can buy various "nerdy" paraphernalia from him.

The SHOPKEEP could have a nerdier voice, since HOBBEEZ is described to be a somewhat vintage store. However, any voice for him could work.

PIZZA MAN possesses unusually sloppy handwriting as shown when SUNNY is tasked to deliver pizzas to the locals of the pizza joint where the former works. He expresses irritation when KEL picks up the "PIZZA" ORDER, mumbling that he dislikes when folks order something other than a pizza at a pizza parlor.

The OTHERMART LADY is a fishmonger found in the northern stall of OTHERMART. She speaks mostly in Chinese, but uses enough English for SUNNY (and the player) to understand. She sells only FISH for $10 a piece, needed to feed the cat to get the Tummy Full of Fish achievement. SUNNY can take up a part-time job with her that involves swatting flies across OTHERMART to earn $20.

OTHERMART LADY should sound fluent in Mandarin, if possible, even with a dialect.

CRIS is known as the fastest swimmer in KEL's school, often being compared to a mermaid, a shark, or even a torpedo. She loves swimming in pools, but loves swimming in the ocean even more. She is a big fan of the ocean and the beach, which may have originated from her good memories of being in a boarding school in an island. She commented that the ocean would remind her of her friends back at the island boarding school. This led her to collect seashells and keeping marine-themed decorations or furniture in her room.

BLUE-HAIRED GIRL is also known as CRIS.

PRETTY BOY is shown to be a kind boy who enjoys people watching at the park. He enjoys playing PET ROCKS with his PET ROCK, ROSE LAD.

PRETTY BOY should sound flamboyant and aloof.

On THREE DAYS LEFT, JAY can be seen running in circles in the basketball court in FARAWAY PARK. He asks KEL for advice about joining the basketball team. He is afterwards approached by PRETTY BOY, who tells him that he wishes to ask something of him.

JOCK is also referred to as JAY in dialogue.

The RECYCLEPATH'S true identity is the STRANGE MAN. While he is first seen in the corner of FARAWAY PARK with two RECYCULTISTS, a proper engagement with him is made when trying to help him with an errand for his mother in FIX-IT. He leaves in a fit of anger, deeming the world to be trash, before reaching a new revelation and taking on his new identity.

The RECYCLEPATH should sound like a religious preacher, as that is essentially what he is.

While not much is shown about him, KITE KID enjoys flying his kite and believes that his bond with it is what makes him unbeatable in battle. Even if he gets defeated, KITE KID will only believe that the weather is why he and his kite can't defeat the party.

KITE KID is... well... a kid. His tone should reflect that. Additionally, KITE KID is a semi-melancholic, low energy character. His lines should be said with a bit of wistfulness.

Known as the FOREST PLAYGROUND's resident bully, BOSS appears to enjoy harassing others for his own amusement. He also is shown to be rather rough towards those he interacts with. This is notable with his idea of hide-and-seek involving body-slamming, which explains why he was banned from the playground by BERLY.

Despite his negative traits, he is mostly shown to be a caring individual despite being known as a local bully for the playground residents. It's also mentioned that although he used BASIL as a hostage, BOSS made sure the young boy wasn't injured during his fight with party. On the top of that, BOSS expresses concern over BASIL's wellbeing when the latter disappears throughout the game

BOSS eventually reflects on his previous actions, and decides to turn over a new leaf by creating the BOSS RUSH attraction inside of HUMPHREY for OMORI and friends to challenge. He even cheers on the party and congratulates them whenever they earn a trophy for his attraction.

Despite BOSS's large stature, he should sound like a young child.

BOSS's REAL WORLD equivalent is CREEPY GUY, who will not be voiced for this project.

PLUTO is charismatic and often loud, but also can display a gentle passionate side when discussing his dreams and aspirations. He takes great gratification when showing off his strength, indicated by his favorite tagline: “When I flex! I feel my best!” PLUTO is defined by his unbreakable determination, characterized by a innate desire for freedom and an ability to forge his own path in life, which is why he escapes CAPT. SPACEBOY's planetarium. However, he also shows a desire to impress and help others, leading him into a contract with MR. JAWSUM, and becomes despondent when he proves unable to carry out his duty.

Honestly, go nuts.

As the leader of the SPACE PIRATES, CAPT. SPACEBOY is an adventurous man who desires to explore the galaxies and seeks a greater purpose in his life. He is also shown to be deeply sensitive towards those he cares about, notably his father PINKBEARD and former wife SWEETHEART. CAPT. SPACEBOY notably appears to be a talented musician as he created his own SPECIAL MIXTAPE out of his love for SWEETHEART. His loyal SPACE PIRATES describe him as a competent leader with a strong amount of bravery and courage.

However, CAPT. SPACEBOY does possess a rather emotional persona whenever he suffers under his breakup with SWEETHEART or her overbearing personality. This transforms him into the vengeful SPACE EX-BOYFRIEND, who only comes out only if SPACEBOY is angry. In this form, SPACEBOY's personality takes a negative turn as he desires revenge against SWEETHEART for breaking his heart and will harm anyone who tries to interfere out of pure rage.

CAPTAIN SPACEBOY has a few personas depending on what mood he is in. These personas do not need to sound completely different but they should have a bit of differentiation in intensity of line delivery, as the normal CAPTAIN SPACEBOY is much more mild than his boss counterpart.

CAPTAIN SPACEBOY is a transgender character and therefore could have a voice ranging from medium-high to low pitched. His tone could be anywhere from teenage to young adult.

SIR MAXIMUS is the father and grandfather of SIR MAXIMUS II and SIR MAXIMUS III. He is the first enemy in HEADSPACE who's death seems to have consequence, as SIR MAXIMUS II and SIR MAXIMUS III try to avenge his death, only to be killed as well.

SIR MAXIMUS and his descendants are all knights and should therefore sound knightly. 

SWEETHEART is obsessed with both herself and her image, bragging about her demeanor and appearance often. Her self obsession is fueled by the constant attention she gets from the SPROUT MOLES who make up the majority of her vast fan base. After her breakup(s) with SPACE BOYFRIEND, she begins to become entranced by the idea of true love, and causes havoc trying to find it. She's a very dramatic person and enjoys theatrics, following her every impulse and causing drama for no apparent reason.

She also loves being in the spotlight and has a strong desire to be adored, despite showing disdain for her love-struck fans. When rejected or undermined, she is prone to outbursts and public displays of anger or rage, due to usually getting everything she wants. Her easy lifestyle can lead to her becoming bored, which encourages her to run amuck with various antics that cause chaos for everyone involved (and occasionally those who are not). She is also ruthless, evidenced by her large dungeon as well as the torture room inside it.

SWEETHEART should have a medium to high pitched voice that is obnoxiously posh. She acts like a spoiled child and is completely unapologetic about it. That should be reflected in her tone.

Her REAL WORLD counterpart is CANDICE.

MR. JAWSUM is an unbelievably successful businessman who wants his entire career to be successful. He doesn't hesitate to trick anyone into signing his CONTRACTS to work for him at LAST RESORT. JAWSUM often berates his workers if they make any mistake on any of his funding projects. Despite this, JAWSUM is actually a benevolent boss when getting to know him better, prominently shown with his demeanor towards HERO. MR. JAWSUM treats HERO with great admiration and even states that he's "like the son he never had." Notably, he keeps a framed picture of both of them on his desk. There's also multiple dedications to HERO strewn throughout LAST RESORT.

MR. JAWSUM should sound like a mob boss, or have some sort of Jersey accent. 

HUMPHREY can be interacted with his insides through buds. Each bud seems to be tasked with something by the SLIME GIRLS or just there to fill the emptiness of his gut with mundane activities, such as games and relaxing. He appears to be easygoing and fun-loving, shown especially in MEDUSA's lab by how he has designed games that can be played inside himself. He can also be careless and prone to mistakes, demonstrated mainly in MOLLY's lab. His buds appear to be afraid of MARINA, as she uses them as test subjects.

However, he is easily overwhelmed by his hunger for clams. If he is unable to eat clams, he resorts to eating anything, including the SLIME GIRLS, and even turning on the party to satiate it. He is extremely sadistic, toying with OMORI and his friends and telling them that their struggle is futile. He also has a habit of speaking in rhymes during his boss fight as well. He also contains skeletons in his gut, which are implied to be the remains of past visitors who did not make it out alive.

HUMPHREY should sound like a children's book narrator. As such, he should come off as very happy and kind when not hungry. A possible suggestion for how he should sound is the Peppa Pig narrator: https://youtu.be/r8bUWjt8wYU?t=31 (This is the best example that could be found at the timestamp)

This role will be voicing every HUMPHREY, including the outer whale and inner buds.

MOLLY is the devious and cunning oldest SLIME SISTER, appearing somewhat passive aggressive and sometimes flirtatious. She often addresses people as "darling" and has a laugh that sounds like "fufufu."

As a scientist, MOLLY seems to prefer working with metal. She puts dangerous puzzles and traps around her lab to counter her younger sister MARINA's attempts to steal her stuff, which can disturb her HUMPHREYS' work, much to their annoyance. According to HUMPHREY, she loves to play games too much and could probably do much good for the world if she would focus, as she sabotages their experimental data for the fun of it. Unusually, her CONVEYOR-BOTS dislike polite people and are accustomed to people being rude to them, as it reminds them of MOLLY.

MOLLY should have a quiet and soothing voice, as out of the three sisters she is surprisingly the most calm and collected out of them.

MARINA has a reckless and brash personality. She has a short temper which is shown when she yells at SWEETHEART for not paying her the clams she needed, or when she screams at KEL for biting her after they attempt to take him away to sell him for CLAMS. She also tends to be the one to angrily yell orders at HUMPHREY. She addresses SWEETHEART as "lady" in a somewhat rude manner and has a mischievous laugh, "kikiki."

Like her sisters, MARINA is a scientist, though she works with live test subjects and ever since she was a kid she has enjoyed taking apart creatures and putting them back together. Like a mad scientist, she has created at least 667 unnatural living experiments, having no care for her experiments' suffering. She appears completely desensitized to gore, screams of pain, and keeping small creatures in tiny cages. It's also stated that the HUMPHREY that work for her in her sector keep "disappearing", causing her to continually ask MEDUSA to give her more. She appears to be more fond of conducting experiments on her own time, showing low confidence in MUTANTHEART's existence after creating her and instead demanding the money.

Despite being the youngest of the slime sisters, MEDUSA also appears to be the most mature and practical. Calm and collected, she rarely lashes out and is shown to be extremely patient, demonstrated as how she tolerated much of SWEETHEART's complaints and how, according to her FOE FACTS entry, she is skilled at calming down her other two sisters whenever they argue. However, she does not like people with bad manners and feels they should be taught a lesson. She often addresses people as "doll".

She loves everything pretty, experimenting with liquid elements as she believes they are just that and being horrified and unusually emotional when her furniture is ruined. She also loves pretty boys, appearing attracted to HERO and wanting to keep him to herself because he is "too pretty to sell." Her superficial personality is further shown after she recreates her destroyed body, marveling over her own gorgeous body and laughing mischievously while pointing out that she gave herself some "minor improvements," likely referring to her chest size. She also mischievously gives OMORI a MYSTERY POTION, claiming it has "entertaining" results, and it ends up temporarily transforming him into a girl when used underwater. During her more mischievous and suggestive moments, MEDUSA lets out a "kukuku" laugh.

DAPHNE is seen to deeply love her younger brother and calls him names such as "darling little brother". She is calm and gets bored easily, and desires to find a better purpose in life instead of forever making bread for eternity. Both siblings appear to be discontent with their role of baking fresh bread, though they appear resigned to it.

DAPHNE and DOUGHIE are their REAL WORLD and HEADSPACE counterparts respectively. While DAPHNE should sound relatively normal, DOUGHIE should sound like zombie-like and apathetic.

Despite this he does mention his views of school being unimportant if the twins are to take over the bakery when they graduate, stating "Why go to school at all?" BOWEN and BISCUIT are each others' REAL WORLD and HEADSPACE counterparts respectively.

DEEPER WELL is home to several creatures who seem to know who SUNNY is, offering advice, questions, and words of warning for him. Only OMORI can understand what the inhabitants of the DEEPER WELL say; when tagged, the others can only hear mumbling.

These characters are representations of SUNNY's subconscious. They should have a monotone and serious delivery, in a similar way to how OMORI himself would be voiced.

Throughout the player's journey, talking to him multiple times results in different dialogue that seem to mainly talk about the HEADSPACE OMORI resides in. Like most minor characters, he has a vague personality, but is suggested to be caring as he frequently offers to bring the team out of the LOST FOREST, knowing it is a dangerous journey.

Because DADDY LONGLEGS is not a part of the cutesy art style of HEADSPACE, his voice should be somewhat menacing in tone.

The KEEPER OF THE CASTLE resides in the southwest wing of SWEETHEART'S CASTLE, in a passageway hidden by a blank-looking wall. Speaking to it at any point before ONE DAY LEFT simply causes it to provide exposition to SWEETHEART'S backstory and the origins of the castle.

Because KEEPER OF THE CASTLE is not a part of the cutesy art style of HEADSPACE, their voice should be somewhat menacing in tone.

BRANCH CORAL appears in DEEPER WELL on an optional path that branches out from the path to HUMPHREY. Talking to it will uncover secrets about SUNNY's conscience and aspects of HEADSPACE. After selecting all dialogue options once and choosing "NO" when BRANCH CORAL asks if OMORI would like to know more, BRANCH CORAL offers OMORI a "sacrifice". Accepting the sacrifice will teleport OMORI to a strange area with a plant growing an APPLE. Interacting with the APPLE will transform it into SUNNY's head. Eating the APPLE initiates a short cutscene similar to the flashback of SUNNY's near-death experience with drowning, but SUNNY is instead floating in a red liquid and shadowy tendrils or branches can be seen around him. OMORI will then gain 50 HEART, 50 JUICE, 10 ATTACK, 10 DEFENSE, and 10 SPEED. After this event, BRANCH CORAL will be dead and can no longer be talked to.

The BRANCH CORAL is a part of SUNNY's subconscious thoughts. Therefore it should sound somewhat monotone and neutral, almost like OMORI, but not malevolent.

MAN ON FIRE is shown to be encouraging towards those that he feels that they are in great turmoil. He also appears as an optimist as he encourages the party to remain hopeful of the future and not be so negative about it. MAN ON FIRE strongly believes that as long as anyone believes in themselves, they can endure any challenges lying ahead of them.

MAN ON FIRE should talk as if he is a motivational speaker. He should speak calmly, however his screaming should be completely unhinged.

LOQUACIOUS CAT is a large, bright blue, poorly-drawn cat head in the style of everything else in DISCO AREA. It talks in all capital letters and with no punctuation.

LOQUACIOUS CAT is found in BLACK SPACE. OMORI can ask it very philosophical questions and in return it will give him answers related to sewing.

HAPPY's name is a good baseline for what this character should sound like. She should be extremely cheerful in her line delivery.

Keemstar Scream

BUN is a child and should have a high pitched voice.

HECTOR is rather shy but described as a good friend to KEL in HEADSPACE. Even though KEL loses him temporarily, HECTOR still appears friendly towards the boy. He also trusts KEL to take care of his son HECTOR JR, showing complete faith in him.

HECTOR should have a low tone, masculine voice. He should not sound like a child. Additionally, HEATHER should not sound like a woman, rather a man doing a really bad woman's impression.

WEEPING WILLOW is shown to be quite gloomy and desires to look for true happiness. However, she appears to enjoy good jokes that can lift her spirits up whenever she feels down. It is also noted that she refers herself as the "goddess of the lake".

The voice used for this role could be anything, but a dry delivery would be pretty funny. :)

The MAILBOX appears to enjoy the company of OMORI and friends whenever they buy items from its shop. However, it can get a bit irritated if the party refuses to buy anything after looking through its shop. It is also shown to be desperate to make anyone buy its products. This was shown when it tries selling the POOL NOODLE for 5000 clams at first but if you keep refusing, the price will eventually drop to 0.

This character is a somewhat shady character, with AUBREY having expressed some suspicion over how trustworthy the MAILBOX can be. This should be reflected in their voice.

In the BREAVEN, if the player decides to touch the big TOAST, the ground will crumble underneath the player's party, giving them access to the crypt guarded by an ACTUAL MOLE.

Within the crypt is a summoning circle, a safe, and a counter of items which can be placed in the circle. Among these items is a plate of COOKIES, which if sacrificed summons PAPA CHIP himself. He will give the party a loaf of BREAD and jump over to the top right corner of the area.

If the player decides to sacrifice the plate of OATMEAL COOKIES, PAPA CHIP will continuously try to persuade the party to not sacrifice the OATMEAL COOKIES as it will bring an evil force into the realm before turning back in fear. After defeating NEFARIOUS CHIP, PAPA CHIP will note that his advice isn't needed then.

Occasionally oblivious at times, SNALEY often crosses paths with OMORI and friends, which leads to his unexpected series of deaths over and over again. Despite this, SNALEY appears to admire OMORI's strength and desires to become strong just like him

SNALEY is a death-prone character, dying quite a lot but strangely doesn't seem to acknowledge or mind this. He's a generally kind individual who could have a range from high to low.

The SPACE PIRATES are loyal and care for CAPT. SPACEBOY’s wellbeing, and are happy to hear the news of him reverting to his old self. They have a collective disdain for SWEETHEART, as she was the catalyst for CAPT. SPACEBOY’s decision to stop traveling.

GATOR GUYS are usually shown to be focused on their tasks, not wanting anyone to bother them. However, they appear to amicable towards anyone they meet despite their rough demeanor, as noted by both MARI and AUBREY. However, they can get aggressive only if they are provoked or under orders of their boss MR. JAWSUM.

GATOR GUYS should sound like mobsters, or have a Jersey-accent.

EMS is a pudgy hamster with beige and white colors on her body. She also wears a yellow bow on her left ear. She is mostly shown to be happy whenever HERO calls her to help his friends out. Along with that, she possesses a great love for cheese.

EMS should have a high-pitched voice, much like a mouse(Though, she is a hamster).

Though rather begrudgingly, SPROUT MOLE MIKE co-hosts the show SWEETHEART'S QUEST FOR HEARTS alongside SWEETHEART herself. Before the show begins, he pays respects for their fallen leader, YE OLD SPROUT. He calls out each contestant and briefly describes their hobbies and height as well as their hometown. Afterwards, he begins to read off a script only to be fatally interrupted by a lightning strike and blackout. When the blackout is fixed, he pays respects to contestant #3, a native of OTHERWORLD by the name of SNALEY. Afterwards, he is shoved aside by SWEEHEART making her debut, eventually leaving the stage to her.

After dealing with the dilemma of being locked in THE DUNGEON, OMORI and friends can interact with him at CLUB SANDWICH on TWO DAYS LEFT after retrieving HERO from MR. JAWSUM. He is shown to be in a depressed state, presumably after drinking FRUIT JUICE?, and complains about SPACE BOYFRIEND getting all of the attention instead of him.

In both ORANGE OASIS in the DONUT HOUSE bookcase and shown clearly as PESSI'S THING (ITEM), SPROUT MOLE MIKE is shown hanging out with SWEETHEART at the beach. Due to the redness of his face, it is safe to assume he wishes to be noticed more by SWEETHEART.

SPROUT MOLE MIKE should have a showrunner's voice. His tone could be anywhere from low to mid range.

ALEX, like many SPROUT MOLES, is quite gullible and can be persuaded into giving out information if bribed enough. When OMORI and friends ask them for the password, they initially refuse before deciding that they need the password for a good reason. Before telling them, however, they force the party leader to pinky-promise not to tell anyone else despite SPROUT MOLES not having visible pinkies.

ALEX's voice should sound like a veteran knight and their tone of delivery should clash a bit with their dialogue

Out of the four guards guarding one of the four passwords, BRIAN appears to be the most wary as he suspects the party not being SPROUT MOLES upon first glance. However, he can easily be tricked like other gullible SPROUT MOLES if the player manages to answer his prompt correctly. If the party fails to answer his prompt, BRIAN will immediately see through the party's trick.

BRAIN's voice should sound like a veteran knight and his tone of delivery should clash a bit with his dialogue

CAROL is shown to be dutiful to the task of protecting the password entrusted to her. However, she can easily be guillable and persuaded into giving out info if bribed enough. The only reason she decides to lend the password to the party is due to them giving her TOFU, which changes her mind in an instant. Like with the other guards, CAROL askes the party to not tell anyone else about the passwords.

CAROL's voice should sound like a veteran knight and her tone of delivery should clash a bit with her dialogue.

HELEN appears to seek respect and isn't afraid to speak her mind to those who cross her path, using strangers as a way to rant about what she thinks is unfair. Despite being confident in herself, she slips up easily and tells the group the password she was guarding, oblivious to her own mistake.

HELEN should have a valley girl accent.

In the beginning was him, crying in a pod in the middle of space, witnessing his home planet blow up. When he awoke, he found himself in the middle of a desert in a sea of brown sugar which he learned was ORANGE OASIS. Even as a baby, he knew he was the sole survivor of his species, the last elf in the entire universe. He was found by a young DONUT by the name of SWEETHEART. She brought her to her family and they took him in as their own. He and SWEETHEART grew up together. The two fought frequently but SWEETHEART would always win. He became good at running and knew he had to survive to repopulate his species.

Eventually, he and SWEETHEART fell in love, became engaged, and moved into SWEETHEART'S CASTLE. But, as SWEETHEART's fan base grew, the two grew apart. When she began searching for suitors, ROCOCO objected so, when he was asleep, SWEETHEART and her servants tied him up and sealed him inside the walls of her castle and he has been wandering through the walls ever since. At some point, he decided to become an artist.

OMORI and his friends are the first living beings he had seen in years, and he begs them to buy his paintings.

ROCOCO should be flamboyant and dramatic in the delivery of his lines. 

James from the Pokémon Anime could be a good reference for his voice if you are unable to do a French accent.

BIG MOLIO is shown be a humble individual. He often appears thankful towards those who help him out in any situation. He also is reliable whenever coming to help his friends. This was shown when he saves OMORI and friends from CHIMERA, only if he was saved before. He also expresses gratitude towards the group as well when interacting with him in SPROUT MOLE COLONY.

WISE ROCK is a character in OMORI. It is an odd rock that tells OMORI and friends advice whenever they need it. 

The delivery of each line will be different depending on whether or not the player selects GOOD ADVICE, OKAY ADVICE, or BAD ADVICE. Therefore, the lines listed below should all be said with a decreasing amount of wisdom.

The SPELLING BEE often has a tendency to spell out each letter of its words, much to the annoyance of OMORI and his friends. It also occasionally makes bee puns in its words. Despite its annoying behavior, SPELLING BEE is shown to be friendly towards the group.

BUTLER appears to possess a refined-butler type personality, acting professional and attentive towards the things around him. This can be shown in one of OMORI's drawings where the BUTLER can seen tending to the former when he was sick. However, he can also be quite cold-blooded when delivering punishments to those that he thinks deserve it.

BUTLER could sound like a stereotypical butler personality, or they could sound similar to what MEWO would sound like if she could speak.

DINO appears to be optimistic and cheerful when speaking, always offering to explain the rules of DINO'S DIG if the player needs to know the rules. He hands out POTATO SPOONS free of charge if no other spoon has been purchased. He has a tendency to call things "DINO-TASTIC!", typically when they regard his attraction.

SPECIAL MIXTAPE is an important item in OMORI. It is a mixtape made by CAPT. SPACEBOY out of his love for SWEETHEART.
