Hello everyone! I am here to announce that I will be casting for a comic dub of one of my favorites, unOrdinary. There are a lot of characters in this series so please feel free to audition, everyone will get a role!
If you do not know the story of unOrdinary, here is the official description from the Webtoon comic: The world is not perfect. Learning to deal with its flaws is just a normal part of life. But there comes a point where these imperfections spawn a crushing realisation... that something needs to change...
You do not have to have read the comic before hand, as it will not effect the casting, but it is recommended. These characters also do not have official voices, so feel free to do whatever you think will fit them! So far the series is up to 109 episodes/ chapters. Each published episode for this group will probably be comprised of two chapters or more.
A few rules and reminders before auditioning:
Please be willing to contribute to the group by being committed and turning in lines on time.
This is going to be quite a large project, so please be active even if your character has not come up in the episode we are working on! I highly recommend auditioning for any of the extra, minor roles because I can reuse you for more than one character! Especially if you do not know who to audition for. A lot of extras, students, named important people are needed for this comic, so please feel free to audition for more than one!

John Doe is currently a third-year student of Wellston High and is the main protagonist of unORDINARY. He was once known as the King of New Bostin. John is a complicated teen with multiple facets to his personality; to Seraphina, he is very lighthearted and joking; to Arlo and Elaine, he is very threatening and intimidating; and to most everyone else, he is just "the school cripple." When John was first introduced, he presented himself as a powerless cripple; this is the side that most people see. As a cripple, John came off as hopelessly optimistic and naive, but was more than willing to risk his neck to stop bullying. Even though the odds were clearly against him more often than not, John would always get back up and think positively, and continue to press forward on with his tasks. He does not care for the social norms of the world and would rather live his own way.
However, John being a cripple is merely a facade to distance himself from his past; in fact, John possesses monstrous side that he wishes to disassociate himself from entirely.
"HOLY SHIT! That actually worked?" (he just threw a bully out that window)
"Ah..... I don't really know...! Just a gut feeling I guess? *tries to change subject* Are you hungry? I'll make some ramen!" (earlier he sensed an invisible guy trying to mug them and Seraphina is questioning him)
"If you're able to keep all but one person in line (meaning him).... then you must be doing your job right. After all a King is nothing if his subjects refuse to follow him." (he is being rude/sarcastic here, basically calling out Arlo. Much tension)
Seraphina is a student of Wellston High and one of the main protagonists of the unOrdinary. She is the strongest student in Wellston . She's John's best friend and was also the school's Ace and former Queen. Seraphina has a rather relaxed personality and doesn't really care for much. She often finds herself bored due to how good she is at practically everything. She can get very assertive with people who get into her business, going so far as freezing time around them. Around John however, Seraphina tends to be playfully sarcastic, though she does look up to her "crippled" friend. She's also unfazed by horror movies and takes pleasure in freezing John so she take a picture of him being scared.
In the past, Seraphina always strove to be perfect in the eyes of others and did not tolerate anyone getting in her way, but she did harbor doubts on the purpose of being perfect. After meeting John, she realizes that it doesn't matter what others think of her and stops trying to be perfect
"You don't need to thank me, I owed it to you. All this time, you've taken the Queen's burden off my shoulder"(very sincere)
"Wait you run this early in the morning? What's wrong with you?" ( she just was woken up by John and his dad)
"You'll fight your way out.... bluff your way out... or you'll just run away. If you can do all of that as a cripple..... then... what is stopping me?" *thinking to herself while she is being forced to do stuff at home. This is meant to be sad because she can't stand up to her parent.)
Arlo is a student of Wellston High and one of the most powerful students in the school. He is also the school's King and strives to maintain order in Wellston. Arrogant, patient, and cunning, Arlo is fully aware of the benefits of his position and uses them to manipulate others to his own favor. He has even gotten away with treating the more powerful Seraphina with a degree of disrespect. Arlo is also completely fixated on the "proper order" of the social hierarchy and despises anyone who does not fit on said hierarchy.[1][2] As a god-tier and the King of the most prestigious school in the area, Arlo believes that the powerful have to set an example for the weaker students and never show any sign of weakness under pressure. Because of this belief, Arlo has the reputation of coming off as confident, calm, and collected in all circumstances.
"So there's this one guy I know (calling out John). With no credentials.... absolutely useless. Yet he still thinks he can talk back to me. He walks where I walk, and sits where I sit. It's really starting to tick me off." (very arrogant, angered, agitated, annoyed)
*him talking down to Seraphina, making her angry* "I already told you, Blyke and I are going to take care of this. You will sit back and watch." (assertive, arrogant, rude)
"Someone as useless as him should've been put in his place ages ago. Yet somehow, he got into one of the top schools... and can casually get along with Seraphina. The facts don't line up." (detective like, he is trying to get to the bottom of it yet he is also jealous of who he is talking about.)
Remi is the Queen of Wellston High and sister of the vigilante X-Static. As a vigilante, she adopts the moniker X-Rei in honor of her fallen brother. Playful, obsessive, and at times stubborn, Remi stands out from her peers in that she doesn’t bully others for her own amusement, even John, and is aware that she is only Queen because her predecessor did not want the position. However, when Remi obsesses something, she is willing to take on those stronger than her, though a vast majority of her obsessions last a few days. At times, Remi can also let loose around her friends, like when she started a volleyball fight with Blyke. Unlike most High-tiers in her school, Remi appears to be much more altruistic, befriending those weaker than her (such as Blyke and Isen) and even assisting "cripples"; these beliefs seem have stemmed from her brother Rei.
According to Blyke, Rei's death has made her more submissive and quiet than usual[7] though recent events also reveal that she has been obsessed with EMBER's movements for months on end.

"Sheesh, it's about time those two fought it out! They've always had beef with each other! Anyway, whatever, What they do is none of my business." (relieved, surprised, gossip)
"I....... I went home to attend a funeral..... because my brother was murdered....?" (sad, doesn't want to talk about it, depressed, upset)
" We may be strong..... But we're far from invincible."(wise, strong heart)
Blyke is a third-year student of Wellston High and serves as the school's Jack. Blyke is a normal teenager who, for the most part, minds his own business (unless provoked), but to his friends, he is loyal, protective, and even empathetic as shown when he expressed concern over Remi after her brother died. He may also share Remi's beliefs and outlooks in cripples because he was never bothered by John until he slapped Remi. He can be quite temperamental, however, especially when he argues or fights with Isen. According to Seraphina, Blyke is also open and straight-forward, with no secrets to hide.
*fighting lady with regenerating spider arms* "YOU B*TCH. HOW MANY OF THOSE THINGS DO YOU HAVE?"
"Wait, also! This is a secret only Royals can know about...Seraphina kicked Arlo's @$$ at Turf Wars!"(gossiping about what Remi missed at school)
Isen is a student of Wellston High and the head of the school press. As a school journalist, once Isen is assigned an intriguing topic, he is dedicated to his research and aims to make his story the top story. During the interview with John, he was thought to be taking many notes. However, it was revealed to be a drawing of him standing over a squashed Blyke, and showing off his muscles for Remi, revealing he has a crush on her.
However, he is also a huge gossip and has been known to spread rumours like wildfire.
In a couple recent chapters, he has shown he gives in easily, quickly choosing to follow other's rules. He's considered weak-willed. Especially When he decided to tell Cecile about John's Secrets.
"That cripple who always hangs around Seraphina? Yeah, he's pretty famous. Why are you interested in him?" (curious)
*scared by the school's nurse* A-ah, sorry to bother you!
"AUGH! Stupid Arlo! You're just salty because Seraphina won't talk to you! Making me look for something that doesn't even exist!"(upset, angered)
Elaine is a third-year student at Wellston Private High School and Seraphina's roommate.[1] She currently holds the position of Wellston's Healer. Elaine seems to be one of the more friendly students at Wellston due to her outgoing and hospitable personality. However, like many students of Wellston, she shows only enmity towards those with no abilities.[2]
She is also shown to be more easily startled then the other Royals. This is likely because her ability is not suited for combat, which is why she relies on more powerful students to protect her.
"Where were you last night? Why didn't you answer any of my texts? I was worried sick for you!" (concerned, worried)
"I DON'T GET WHY YOU'RE ALWAYS WITH HIM! YOU'RE MAKING YOURSELF LOOK BAD!"(angered, upset, furious)
"The way he looked at me.....his glare....it as so malicious." (scared, worried, terrified)
Cecile is a student of Wellston Private High School and is the former head of the school's newspaper. Cecile's initial confrontation with Remi betrayed a typical high-tier mindset and attitude. She looks down on low-tiers and considers helping them a waste of time and effort. Not one for beating around the bush or pleasantries, she nearly forced Remi to fight her and refused to respect the new Queen without losing to her in a battle first.
Despite this, she does take her job with the school paper seriously, stating she is supposed to 'deliver the truth' as much as possible. Whether because she wants to keep her position blemish free or genuine transparency is unclear.
Cecile is also known to be secretive and untrustworthy, and it was these traits that made her ineligible for the position of Jack in Seraphina's eyes. She even ponders how she can bypass Arlo's authority as much as possible when it comes to the school paper and the 'truth'.
"Arlo, to what do I owe this pleasure?"(sacarstic)
"If you keep spoiling her.... What'll happen once we graduate? Her and that useless Jack take over and they run Wellston into the ground again." (upset, angered, assertive)
Dr. Darren is an easily irritated person with a bit of a temper, especially towards the more troublemaking students. Because of this, he comes off as scary to most students. Despite this, he does care for the well-being of his patients.
"How many times do I have to tell you to watch yourself? DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO DIE BEFORE YOU UNDERSTAND?" (angered, upset John keeps hurting himself and that he is the one who keeps having to deal with him)
"JOHN? WHO THE F*CK IS THAT?"(rage, ignorant)
Claire is a student from New Bostin High School. She frequently appears in John's flashbacks. Claire appears to be kind and compassionate, especially to bully victims.
According to John, she is somewhat manipulative when it comes to achieving her ulterior motives.[1] However, it should be noted that she was trying to stop John because he had become a tyrant.
"John, are you okay?" (kind, worried)
"You're a monster!"(upset, angry, worried)
As the Headmaster of a school as violent as Wellston, Vaughn constantly displays an air of dominance.
However, he has shown to truly care about the well-being of his students, increasing security in light of the recent EMBER activity and forcing John to start living on campus after he was attacked at home. He also regularly takes his students' side on matters, even when dealing with the authorities. In fact, he seems despise authorities, not wanting them to interfere with his work and offering them little to no cooperation.
"Ah, Seraphina there you are! Please sit." (welcoming)
"This is Miss Nadia. She's here on behalf of the authorities today. She is going to ask you a set of very simple questions." (wise, assertive)
There are a lot of students that reoccur as minor characters and some that do not. A lot of them are the ones who bully and mess with John, causing problems in the school. These students hate John because he is a cripple and doesn't belong there. They also just hate him in general. I will be casting/ reusing a lot of voices for these.
"What did you say to me punk?"
"You're just a cripple, you cannot defeat me even if you had an army!"
"WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE!!"
The police and many security guards pop up randomly in this story. Some are being nice while others can be interrogating students.
"Please answer all questions truthfully, if you do not, then it will hurt you more than you think."
"Hey! Stop right there!"
"And where do you think your going?"
The news reporter announces all of the drama going on with EMBER and the deaths of the vigilantes. I believe there is more than one, but if not I will/can cast more. They are also used to warn the public.
"Another vigilante was found dead in an alley way. One better known as X-Static..."
"EMBER is the organization that is currently being blamed for the deaths of the vigilantes."
Like mentioned, there are a lot of roles to come as the chapters progress. Many extras are needed. This includes townspeople, fugitives, bad guys, customers,etc
"I can't believe this! Do you think the article is true?"
"Did you just hear what they said?"
"Excuse me, I'm patiently waiting for my Boba tea over here!!"
