Toontown Corporate Clash: Comic Dub Casting Call
Project Overview
What's this?
First of all, I want to thank you for taking the time to audition! I know this is a (possibly) one-time project but I adore the comics and game so much that it deserves a dub! So, if you don't know what Toontown is, why don't I give a little history lesson:
Toontown is a game from Disney which closed in September 2013(?). Ever since other servers have risen from its ashes with its own unique playstyles. Toontown is a game about toons (animals) fighting the big bad robots called Cogs. In the Toontown: Corporate Clash universe, there is a LOT of deep-dive lore and so much mystery!
The Basics (What I am finding):
- Please have a clean mic with little to no background noise! This will allow the speech to be clean and real-sounding! Please try not to spike!
- Please express your emotions clearly and to the best of your ability! This is the biggest thing I am looking for in an audition. The better you can convey the emotion, the more likely I may choose you.
- As you do your audition you are telling me that you will be available when you can. I understand that if personal stuff happens and I am lenient but if you have too much on your plate, please reconsider your choices.
- If you would like to know what the comics are about, here is the link to them!: https://corporateclash.net/comics
- There are going to be a LOT more comics coming in the future so if you would like to stick around, fantastic! There's a lot of cool stuff to come <3.
- If you have a discord, be sure to let me know!
- I will be voice critiquing!

Latest Updates

I apologize for how much I keep updating but I am really cutting close to losing time. So starting today till Friday, I will be starting shortlisting and casting. I know this is something frowned upon but with how busy and chaotic it is getting, this is the only way I have just in case I am unable to even choose casters all together. If you have been rejected but would still like to try out, please audition any other opening spots. It is likely you can still get in!

Bearer of Bad News
I had gotten an update from my church that my Kenya trip is the end of this week. So, the casting call's deadline is going to cut down dramatically to the end of this week. I have talked with a partner of mine who will be taking over in collecting the voices during my absence. Tomorrow I will begin casting people. Any available spots can still be auditioned for then. At the end of the day of the deadline, I will finish up the casting. Till then, please boost and get more involved! -
Thank you!
I want to thank the TTCC crew for sharing this! If you come across this message please to boost this where you can! I want this to be known <3!
The Chairman is the leader/boss of the COGs and will make drastic actions just so his corporation expands into the heart of Toontown. Chairman is a small, hot-headed honcho but does his job extremely well, to the point perhaps some wonder of how he does it despite such small size.
Chairman is volatile and anything can happen with him, so consider sudden extreme changes in emotions--from super calm to explosion in anger.

So, shall we plan another meeting next week? You are my top investors after all!
[Upbeat, a bit excited for he wishes to see important people again to basically have profit]
Hope is.. a toony word, yes, but I could REALLY use it right now.
[a bit nervous, desperate, staying calm, knows he is losing a battle but not giving up]
LEAVE THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW OR YOU'RE FIRED! GET! OUT!
[erupting into anger, yelling, threatening]
Four words: He's trying his best. C.J. was dragged into his job and didn't know much of corporate law, hence him doing more of a civil law court. Due to this, it caused the Chairman to take action in firing him. Yet, the tables have turned. Despite being depressed about oncoming doom, C.J. takes his time and comes with a plan and retires just before the Chairman could fire him, relishing his now paid for vacation.
Anything works for C.J. If I had to request one thing, it'd be a professional voice! He works in law, y'know!

Law and order, yes sir.
[reconning information, acknowledging, understanding, taking orders]
Don’t judge my printouts. Paper is a renewable resource.
[slight arguing, a bit offended, making a point]
It's always been like this: Guilty, Guilty, Guilty, Not Guilty, Guilty--then BAM! You get crushed by papers.
[venting, sudden emphasis, annoyed]
Not much is known about Jennifer but she is Chairman's secretary(?)! So, go wild with her!
Any voice works!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Annual Review (One Line)
"Do I have to?"
[Complaining, whining]
"Oh boy. Take a seat, We’re gonna be here a while."
[Knowing the storm that is coming, prepared, annoyed/tired tone]
"Wow, looks like he hates you even more than me."
[Amused, surprised, joking]
CEO is the highest cog boss out of the other three thus his work ethic is obviously top-notch. CEO owns a banquet and loves to golf, plus has a very gothic atmosphere to him. Creepy? Maybe. But he sure is scared of the Chairman.
I would love to see some form of English accent with the CEO! Could Victorian be an accent? Maybe? Who knows! But an English accent is optional but preferred!

He said fired. That's all that I caught.
[nervous, low voice/whispering almost, scared, knowing something bad is approaching]
Sure, I’m better and smarter and stronger than all of you. (pause) That's it. No "but"s.
[boasting, full of oneself, explaining]
I am used to creepy stuff but man does that really hit hard with the term "creepy".
[a bit weirded out, impressed-ish, astonished]
Not much is known of this little fella! They're just a hard worker only to meet a mishap and fate of being fired!
Any voice works!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Weekly Meeting
I'm so sorry, Mr. Oilcan but I am just doing my job!
[nervous, bearing bad news, trying to reassure]
Of course sir, I won't let you down!
[prideful, ready to work, motivated]
I-I don't.. And there he goes. Oh, bolts..
[trying to stop someone, giving up, nervous, passive]
The V.P. is an odd one. He seems full of himself and often picked on. He works in the stock market and at this point, super used to falling over 100ft from a building.
Any voice can work for the VP but if I were to request, may something a little flamboyant!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Weekly Meeting
Well, sucks to be you, Craig!
[making fun of, joking, teasing]
Geez, I must've picked a bad shopkeeper if all these toons are leaving suddenly!
[surprised, confused, a little annoyed for he was up for a fight]
Do you think I know the answer!?
[angry, annoyed, suddenly getting asked of something he doesn't even know]
Honestly, the server doesn't provide much lore about him which is upsetting! He has one of the best battles in the game is all I can say and pretty clever. He loves money and perhaps a loner (probably used to being neglected).
Any voice works with CFO!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Weekly Meeting (Like one line)
Wait, my money!? What do you mean!? OH NO!
[realizing, rising fear, scared]
I barely get involved in anything. How did I know it was V.P's birthday!? He didn't invite me!
[upset, venting, a bit angry]
Only one thing gets me by in life: money. (pause) Okay maybe change too but still!
[explaining, admitting, a bit happy]
A mystery investor that probably may show up in future comics(?). Anything goes for this one so have fun!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Weekly Meeting (One Line)
"I wouldn't count on it, Robert. You seem like you would be busy."
[Doubt, calm]
"Can I ask your opinion on something?"
[Questioning, curious]
"It is simple math. Please, even a GOON can understand it."
[calm, annoyance, sarcasm]
Webster is a smart and intellectual toon. He works with books and can decipher stuff rather easily! Not too mention how obsessed he is with theories!
For a voice, maybe something smart or posh(?).
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Phase 2
I assume all is well?
[sarcastic, knowing full well that nothing is well]
Has anyone seen the twelveth volume of "History of Tree Bark"? I swore I put that at my desk.
[confused, looking for something, asking]
Say what you will but socks with sandals are comfortable.
[not going to argue, making a declaration, opinionated]
Rocky is the leader of the toon Resistance who is destroying Lawbot HQ (where C,J. resides). He is leaderlike and doesn't have any interest in Halloween whatsoever.
I would like to maybe hear a strong voice with Rocky! Really show his authority!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Phase 2
From here on out, let it be known: I despise Halloween.
[annoyed, seething hatred, a bit relieved it's over but the anger is there]
Welcome to the operation, recruit! Let me give you the rundown.
[greeting, happy, confident, ready to explain]
Oh dear, this can't be good...
[nervous, a bit upset, awaiting bad news]
Scout is a hard worker and knows the ins and outs of many different locations. As the name suggests, they uncover documents and areas/weak points of Lawbot HQ to help in the resistance.
Any voice works for Scout!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Phase 2
Not only is it effective, but it is also much quicker than attempting to place it somewhere else where cogs could potentially overrun us.
[explaining, informing, reconning]
Sir yes, sir! I will get right on it!
[accepting mission, ready to go]
Now, where is that darn paper!? I can't disappoint Rocky now!
[annoyed, under breath, deeply looking through stuff to find this paper]
I think Vinny is actually Vinny from The Lost City of Atlantis by Disney. So if you haven't seen him, here's basically a video to sum him up. Like that's all I can pretty much say for him so I need an imitation voice of Vinny from TLCA.

And I can set up some chains of TNT to blow that marble to dust.
[explaining, suggesting]
Hey, look, I made a bridge. It only took me like, what? Ten seconds? Eleven, tops.

We done a lot of things we're not proud of. Robbing graves, eh, plundering tombs, double parking. But, nobody got hurt.

Reid Stock is in charge of the weaponry supply and helps toons restock their gags against the fight with the COGs. Not much else is known of her but she seems to be sharp-witted!
Any voice works for Reid but perhaps a country accent?
COMIC APPEARANCES:
Phase 2 (One line)
I could use some pies from the stand to block the cog's view.
[suggesting, offering help, finding a solution to a hole in the plans]
Vinny, for the last time! No! More! Explosions!
[angry, annoyed, emphasis on the last three words]
Thanks for your purchase! Now go defeat those cogs!
[happy, hopeful, encouraging]
Another extra! Apparently he has a line that I didn't see so I could a voice for him! I could use a nervous type of voice!
Anything for accent or otherwise goes!
COMIC APPEARANCES:
The Day of Reckoning (One Line)
"B-Boss! Remember your classes!"
[Nervous, trying to reassure, scared]
"I haven’t seen your face around here. Who are you?"
[Curious, interested, confused]
"I know this sounds crazy, but that is not the worst thing that ever happened to me."
[oddly calm, answering, admitting]
