Project Overview

What is "Songs of War?"

"Songs of War" is a fantasy Minecraft animated show on the social media platform called, "YouTube". The show has 10 episodes with one season, with the final two seasons sadly being cancelled and never being finished. The animation was made by the YouTube channel called "Squared Media" which is a Minecraft animation company that has made other animated shows like, "Steve and Alex Life" and "Animation Life".

The Plot of "Songs of War" is a very interesting one:

The series takes place on the fictional world of Ardonia, home to a species known as the Ardoni who have to the power to wield objects known as the Songs, which grant them unique abilities. Other species in Ardonia include Humans, Felinas, and Magnorites, all of which are seen prominently in the series.

The first season of Songs of War follows three main plotlines with its three main protagonists:


  • The Ardoni storyline, focusing on a young clanless Ardoni named Senn along with his mentor Thalleous Sendaris, as they journey to stop the exiled Voltaris clan from rising to power and destroying the other Ardoni clans. Later episodes added a Magnorite named Igneous as another main character.


  • The Dragon Stone storyline, focusing on a young farmer named Abbigail along with her dog Sam as she ventures out into the world to stop two mercenaries named Jalkar and Grim from stealing a mysterious Ender Dragon Egg.


  • The Necromancer storyline, focusing on a former criminal named Lucan along with a lone Felina (and potential love interest) named Niika as they go on a journey to foil an attempted uprising of the Necromancers.


How will this work as a fan-dub?

Songs of War is obviously not mine, and is owned by "Squared Media" this is merely only a fan-dub of the 10 episodes of Season 1, and credits to the original creators will be presented. This is an unpaid project, and is only for fun and is made to support the real show and company that made it, and is made to support the fandom, and to even give some huge fans a chance to become the characters that they love.

When the audio of everyone's lines will eventually be submitted to me ( information on that will be posted soon ) I will eventually edit and submit the voice audio's over the actual animation made by "Squared Media" and when finished, I will eventually post it on my YouTube channel, called "GoodBlueBloxz" where I will credit all of you wonderful voice actors and credit the real and actual creators of the actual show in the description of the video. Once again, this is only for FUN, and I plan to also make fun bloopers if I have time, and some fun discord calls of all of us together.

What are the requirements and how will I send my voice over audio's to you?

Simple requirements will include:

1. A decent microphone

2. No or little noise in the background

3. Your best impression of the character you want to voice act as

4. Must have Discord for contact and more information

5. Any app to record your voice over audio (Ex. OBS Studio)

6. Contact Media to send your audio to me (Ex. Discord, YouTube, Business Email)

Extra Information

I will say this one final time, this is only a fan made project. This is made for fun, I will not expect perfection. This is only for the fandom and to give fans a chance to voice act as the characters that they love, and is made to support the company "Squared Media" the company that has made the real show, called, "Songs of War".

If all or most of us have time, I would love all of you to get to know each other, and we will have at least one fun discord call of all of us together and chatting. Everyone has their own things to do in their life however, and as a student in High School, this might take a while, but I will do my best to make it all work out in the end. Have fun, everyone! He is an Ardoni of the Sendaris clan (aka the blue ones) and is a very powerful warrior, and is known as "The Cool Uncle" to the younger characters such as Senn and Ria. He spends most of his time adventuring around the world, and hunting down any living Voltaris members.


His vocal range could either be a male young adult, male adult, or male senior. His tone overall should sound like a strong and confident warrior, for he participated in the Great War. This role does require narration as well, for he tells the story of the Great War in the first episode.

According to the Songs of War Wikipedia, Tygren Voltaris is the tertiary antagonist of the entire series, but also a main antagonist of the ardoni story in season 1. He is an ardoni of the Voltaris clan (aka the red ones) and a prominent leader of the clan after the Great War, and is one of the most powerful characters in the series. 


His voice should sound like a deep ranged male adult, and has an accent ranging from British to American most of the time he is on screen. His tone overall should sound like an evil villain, since compared to the Deathsinger who is a broken villain, Tygren actually enjoys being a villain.

But after Thalleous dies to Tygren, he is trying to journey to Ataraxia to find a safer place to live in.


His voice range should mainly be a male teenager or a male young adult, since he is one of the younger characters in the series. He should sound like your typical friendly boy.

According to the Songs of War Wikipedia, Sulliman is a side antagonist of the series. He is a middle aged human who deals potions for a living and is mainly shown to be a grouchy friend of Thalleous. He is old and wise, but very greedy and disagreeable and LOVES to brag about how greedy he is. He is overall just a dirty and selfish character. His role in the story begins when Thalleous tells Sulliman if he can safeguard a prime song, Sulliman agrees and promises to keep it safe, but later on in the story, gives it to the Voltaris.


His vocal range should be a grouchy and annoyed male adult or male senior, he is said to be at least in his 50's.

However, he tries to take the egg by force instead of paying the two bounty hunters, and dies in the process.

He is the captain of the guards of the Felden kingdom, and a former contact of Lucan. He was contacted by Lucan to assist him on the necromancer base raid, where he sadly dies shortly after.

He was a Ardoni council representative of the Kaltaris Clan, who later leads the attack on the Voltaris clan at the end of Season 1. He is a strong and wise warrior, and somewhere around the age of Thalleous, however, he sadly dies in battle against the Deathsinger.

According to the Songs of War Wikipedia, Master Aurelius is a side character in the Songs of War series. He is an Ardoni Master of the Nestoris clan (aka the yellow ones) and he is by far, the oldest ardoni in the entire series. Since he is one of the oldest characters in the series, he strikes wisdom into the audience every time he speaks, and is much respected by the other Ardoni council members.


His range should definitely be a male adult or male senior, considering that he is one of the oldest characters in the series. His voice itself should sound very deep and rough, and strike wisdom into the viewers, similar to a sensei.

According to the Songs of War Wikipedia, Galleous Sendaris is a major character in the series. He is a Ardoni of the Sendaris clan (aka the blue ones) who lives in Ataraxia as a skilled blacksmith. One important note is that he is the older brother of Thalleous Sendaris, where he looks and sounds the exact same as his brother, just with a darker shade of blue. 


Even though in the original series, both Thalleous and Galleous share the same voice actor, I am making Galleous a separate audition so I can make the cast and crew a bit larger.


His vocal range should be either a male young adult, male adult, or male senior. He is around Thalleous Sendaris's age, so he should sound similar to him. Even though Thalleous Sendaris has a warrior tone in his voice, Galleous should sound like a soft toned wise sensei, considering that Galleous is smarter, and spends most of his time creating weapons and training students.

According to the Songs of War Wikipedia, Ingressus Voltaris aka the Deathsinger, is the main antagonist of the entire series, alongside Pythus. He is the leader of the Voltaris Clan (aka the red ones) and the driving force behind the Great War. Despite his name, he didn't wish to be evil, and is a broken villain after being corrupted by the Prime Songs power and watching his clan fall. He is the arch enemy of the "Tidesinger" and is one of the most powerful characters in the series.


His vocal range should sound either like a male young adult or male adult. His tone overall should sound like a broken antagonist. He is young, yet has seen his people fall and burn, and craves revenge because of it. He should sound strong yet corrupted for power and vengeance.
