Project Overview
It is the year 1892. Civilization has grown into a modern society. Some took a step and became a citizen of this new world; some stayed in the past—those who stayed became outlaws and raiders. The late Governor Randall was assassinated, giving the title to Mr. Edward Mayfair. With his first action, he has declared those who do not give up the life of a gunslinger and join modern society - to be cast as outlaws. With this order approved, Governor Mayfair has distributed Bounty Hunters and Pinkerton Agents to hunt down the remaining gangs in the wretched West. With only a few gangs remaining, Governor Mayfair will do whatever it takes to implement his plan.

It is August 21st, 1892—1:45 pm. A train is blowing through the dust and sand. Right before the caboose, the car door opens near the back part, and ten men carrying rifles and shotguns enter. The train car barely had anyone inside as they walked inside the cart, all except for a woman and man sitting in front of her. Four more enter the train car, pushing a man - gagged and tied up in chains - to a seat.
The train enters the tunnel; everything goes black. Nothing but quick flashes lighten the room as bullets fly everywhere. A bullet passes beside the woman as shots from the Pinkertons continue. The woman quickly opens the front door again; she moves through the aisle, avoiding the gunshots, and reaches for one of the Pinkertons. Grabbing one of the agents, the woman quickly covers his mouth and hits him with the butt-end of her revolver. He had dropped to the floor unconscious. She started moving back to the front of the train car; quick flashes from the pistols briefly showed the two outlaw’s faces.

Mr. Mato, originally named Ahiga Kitchi (Pronounced Ah-HEE-gah, meaning “He Fights” – Pronounced Ket-CHEE, meaning “Brave”), was part of a tribe that was massacred by the American army when they were making their way to Canada. Being the last one of his tribe, he set out to seek revenge for his fallen brothers and sisters. With a failed assassination attempt on the General in charge of that platoon, Ahiga Kitchi was left to die at the bottom of a ravine, where Anthony Dantes, a notorious gunslinger, found him. By helping him heal and caring for him, Ahiga swore a life debt to Anthony and became his blood brother, gaining the new name Mr. Mato.
