Atticus is once again open!
The person that was chosen for Atticus had to step down, so the role is open again. Go ahead and audition as the white boy ever
'The Cleansing' is a pseudo-animated series (think a fully colored animatic) about inhuman agents that venture out into the human world to suppress a chaotic cult for their god, accidentally finding the cruel truth of their devotion, and growing closer along the way. This project features LGBTQ+ characters of all shapes and sizes, and plans to span for two seasons of approximately ten episodes, although this may change.
This project is entirely volunteers, and while this may change WAAAAY down the line, I do not promise it. I recommend joining if you'd like some new characters to enjoy and try playing. Additionally, artist and writer roles are both available as well, I just know that this site is commonly for VAs.
More roles are added overtime!

Hiya! I've revamped Atticus's audition lines, so you can retry if you'd like to with the now more clear inflictions. Additionally, we added Cres, the mysterious doctor, and Luna, the more mysterious king. Try em out! More will be added.
British accent, mature and sophisticated tone, soft but bold voice with a commanding presence, until chaos presents itself and sends him into confusion. Very sharply says "Doctor Cres". Hisses through gritted teeth when frustrated, shouts britishly when angry. Character is transmasculine.
(composed, but commanding) "Chaos has no place in the world, and especially not in the ETA. We are here to restore order and protect the world from Romav's influence."
(irritated, on his last nerve) "You know what, I'm done. I'm going to take a walk and try to calm down before I do something I regret."
(angrily confused) "I'm sorry, but could you please explain to me how you think swinging from the chandelier is a good idea in any context?"
High-pitched, energetic and enthusiastic tone, with a touch of immaturity and playfulness. Character is transmasculine. Makes pathetic noises often.
"I think everyone deserves a chance, even if they seem a little scary at first."
"I may be a little carefree, but I can still get the job done!"
"Sometimes, you just gotta stop and enjoy the little things, like the sunsets on this planet."
Deep, gravelly voice with a deadpan and sarcastic tone, confident and unemotional. Very subtle southern accent. Character voice is androgynous, but character is female. When she laughs she honks like a goose impression.
(nonchalant) "I'm not saying I'm immortal, but I've got a feeling I'm going to outlive all of you. Y'all dumb as fuck."
(groaning) "If we survive this, I'm going to need a raise. And a stiff drink."
(sarcastic) "Don't worry about me, I've got a lifetime guarantee."
Slight Australian accent. Tends to sound exhausted/out of breath most of the time due to his tiny lungs. His breathing is audible when not talking. Sounds like he is trying to stay together (both mentally and physically). Sounds kind of squeaky when confused. Character is transmasculine.
(firm) "Hey, that's Doctor Cres to you, Atticus. You know how important titles are to me."
(anxious, spiraling) "I'm not cut out for this job. I'm just a kid from the outback trying to survive in a world full of monsters."
(reflective, somber) "It's funny, isn't it? The humans that can't remember me, they're the ones that make me feel more at home than my own kind."
Reccomended to work with a lineless style, as that is the style of the show.

Work on scripts and draft plotlines. Dialogue is prioritized, art skills optional.

(fake kindness) "My dear, I assure you that I would never do anything to hurt you. I love you too much."
(mildly menacing) "In this world, there are only two types of people: those who serve order, and those who oppose it. Choose your side wisely."
(amused) "You're really quite adorable in your naivety, but I'm afraid it won't get you very far."
Minor character role. Audition for a museum nightguard, and die in the end! Voice and personality are up to you.
"What the fuck is that?"
"We were told to steer clear of that crate, partner."
Scream. Just scream in fear and/or agony.
