Project Overview

"The Adventures Alcove" is an exciting new podcast that combines the rich storytelling and unpredictable gameplay of Dungeons & Dragons with the immersive performances of improv acting. We're casting for a host/Dungeon Master and five main cast members to take our listeners on a thrilling journey through time. In our inaugural campaign, our cast will traverse wormholes, battling foes and unraveling mysteries in diverse time periods, from the age of Vikings to the distant future. Each episode will offer new challenges, complex character development, and a lot of fun.

Our ideal candidates are passionate about DnD, comfortable with improv, and dedicated to creating memorable audio experiences. We're looking for imaginative, collaborative individuals who can maintain the consistency of their characters while reacting to the changing landscapes of the game.

    Hello everyone!

    I'm thrilled to announce that the scheduling for Round 1 Callbacks has been wrapped up. Your dedication, patience, and immense talent have made this a challenging yet rewarding process for us.

    We continue to receive new submissions every day, and I'd like to reassure everyone that these new entries have an equal opportunity to be selected for a callback in Round 2. We are diligently reviewing both new and past submissions to ensure no talent goes unnoticed.

    Round 2 callbacks will start with notifications going out next week for live auditions beginning on the 20th. Expect a more detailed update on the logistics of Round 2 by next week, so keep an eye out!

We're casting for five improvisational actors to join us as main cast members for the first season of "The Adventures Alcove", an exciting new podcast that fuses the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons and immersive storytelling.


In this role, you'll be part of an ensemble cast, journeying through a series of DnD campaigns. You'll use your improv skills to create dynamic characters who will evolve throughout each campaign. Our first journey is a trip through time, so a love for history, science fiction, and everything in between is a plus!


Our ideal actors can think on their feet, adapt to the unpredictable world of DnD, and create compelling, memorable characters. We're looking for actors who can immerse themselves in their characters and bring them to life for our listeners.


As a part of our podcast, you'll be committed to regular recording sessions, participating in rehearsals, and bringing your best to each episode. Previous DnD experience is an advantage but not a requirement. We value enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to craft above all.

Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Playing a consistent character throughout the campaign.

  • Participating actively in each episode's gameplay.

  • Improvising dialogue and interactions based on the situations your characters face.

We're seeking individuals who are:
