Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart (SRB2K) is a retro-style kart racing game on the PC. It is not only fun to play, but is also designed to be very easy to mod. And so, I've found myself making mods of some of my object characters to add into the game. Five out of fourteen spritesheets are already finished, two of which have voice acting done by me and my sister. I've found it really fun to race with my OCs.
However, the rest of the characters still need some audio too. I have struggled to find people able to record these characters' voices, so I've turned to this site for help. Each character has eleven short .ogg files to be recorded.
Most of the characters are Australian, except for Charcoal (American), Otya (Japanese), and Pyramid (all over the place).
This will just be one-off recordings, so I won't ask you to do anything beyond these "auditions." Please record all 11 lines as your audition, and I will choose the ones I like best. Don't feel pressured to record all the lines in seperate audio files, or even export in .ogg. You can record in any format you like, or record it all in one big file. I can edit, crop and convert all of the audio myself.

The deadline has been crossed, but unfortunately, not every character received an audition. If you're reading this, I highly encourage you to either try out for any of the ignored characters, or find some Australian VAs who can do them naturally!

Blueberry is a mature, responsible character, and the older brother of a character not listed in this casting call. Blueberry enjoys games where he can outsmart his opponents, and considers strategy to be his greatest strength. However, he struggles in physical contests, and despite usually appearing stoic and calm, he can be easily frightened.

Charcoal is an arrogant American who takes pride in being as bad as he possibly can. He will disrespect, taunt, and insult people unprovoked, giving himself a laugh whenever he can. Charcoal is strong and ruthless - however, it doesn't take much to break him. Surprisingly, he also has a passion for poetry.

Dynamite is a cranky old lady, with comedic rage. It's either done her way, or no way at all. Dynamite misses the good old days, and is very bitter towards the modern world.

Otya (お茶) is a teacup filled with green tea. She is Japanese, and isn't very confident in speaking English. Otya is a fun, expressive character who can also tend to be emotional. Otya is kind and easy to be friends with, and enjoys herself when she competes.

Pyramid is an ancient harbinger of chaos. Pyramid has been around so long, he doesn't remember where he came from, how old he is, or how he came to lose the top half of his body. Years of immortality have deteriorated his sanity and enjoyment of life, so it's rare for anything to catch Pyramid's interest. Once Pyramid finds something he enjoys, he's like a torpedo, laughing and giggling and having fun.

Rosey is a miserable, wilting flower who sees hope nowhere. She is inspired by characters like Sadness from Inside Out. Although Rosey finds it hard to be motivated, she has an appreciation for the beauty in the world, and paints when she finds the time. She's also very observant and pays attention to detail.

Shuriken is a ninja with skill unmatched, even without being able to see. He has a strong sense of justice, and stands for what's right. People find Shuriken to be extremely cool. Despite being a ninja, Shuriken displays among the most stereotypically Australian behaviour in the cast.

Sunflower is an optimist, or at least she tries to be. She's very emotionally-charged - she can be excited one minute, and on the verge of tears the next. She can also be pretty awkward when it comes to socialising. However, she likes to run marathons, so her physical prowess is not to be underestimated.

Sweetie is a dramatic, villainous character. He is an actor, singer and dancer, and is famous for his work. As such, he's very full of himself, and has an arrogant, ego-centric and condescending attitude. Sweetie is a calm and calculated antagonist, displaying smooth and sophisticated behaviour.

Yarny is a chill, easy-going guy. He's very hard to dislike - and he prefers to keep it that way. He tends to fill the role of a peacekeeper, making sure nobody gets hurt. But even with this in mind, Yarny's still up for some friendly competition.
