Seeking adult male VO, American accent, voice typical of monster truck rally/demolition derby advertisements.
Think high energy, gruff, super “macho” voice, who can also play with some variation when announcing the different monster trucks and their catchphrases.
This is for narration for a satirical (fake) commercial for a demolition derby, set in the world of the audio drama Sporadic Phantoms. Each episode of Sporadic Phantoms features a ridiculous fake commercial with wink-wink references to the Animorphs book series, and satirizes something in the real world as well. This particular commercial satirizes monster truck rally commercials, and also references the fact that the teenage characters of Animorphs are canonically bad/unlicensed drivers. The names of the monster trucks are also references to the Animorphs books.
Sporadic Phantoms is an immersive sci fi audio drama and multimedia ARG project, set in modern times with original adult characters and storyline, but also set in the world of the Animorphs book series.

The commercial will be about 2 minutes long and we would meet over zoom together to record approximately 3 takes. You would record on your end and save the takes as wav files.
Please have a decently high quality microphone and a quiet recording environment!
This is a low budget indie project/passion project, and we are able to pay $50 for this commercial.
