Sporadic Phantoms episode 18

Steve (American, M, 40s) is a father of two teenage sons. He lives in California and works as a doctor. However, the character speaking will actually be the alien slug in his head masquerading as Steve. The alien does this very, very naturally. One of Steve's sons is supposedly missing, abducted by a terrorist organization.

There will be one scene with Steve, which involves an interview with him and his wife, and it's intended to garner sympathy from the listeners to "find the missing kids", which is secretly an alien tactic to capture the kids themselves, who are the aliens' real enemies, not the supposed terrorist organization. More background info can be explained once the script is sent.

Please have a clear sounding microphone and recording environment without any background noise or reverb! We will record together over zoom, you will record on your end using Audacity or other similar program and save as wav files. We will do approximately 3 takes with some direction between each take.

This is a small indie/passion project, and we are able to pay $25 as well as send you the edited scene for you to use in a reel, etc.

Dan (American, M, 40s) is a father of 3 girls. He works as a news reporter.

Dan will appear in two episodes, so if cast, this would be a commitment to recording a news report scene for this episode, and the next episode will involve two scenes with Dan- one will be speaking to a crowd about his search for his missing daughters, and the other will be another news report scene.

This is a small indie/passion project, and the pay for Dan will be $25 per episode, as well as edited files of the scenes Dan is in which you can use for reels etc.

Please have a clear/decent sounding microphone and a quiet recording environment without reverb!

We will meet on zoom to record, and do approximately 3 takes of each scene with direction given between each take.

You will record on your end in Audacity or a similar program and save the takes as wav files.

This can be two sessions, one soon for the one scene in the upcoming episode, and the other session can be arranged a couple weeks later for the next episode, or we can arrange to record it all in one session.
