SInk Your Teeth is a 2D RPG Maker Horror Game that follows a romantic couple who've relocated for work into the rotting gums of a dying colossus, who's revered by some to be a God. We play as Crow, a hard-working Structural Integrity Engineer who's deeply loyal to their overseer of contract work, Ghost, as well as their long-term girlfriend, Bunny. Their loyalties are tested as the best interest of both parties comes into conflict, all while Crow dreams of simply being free. Further yet, as Crow simply does their job to inspect if all is up to code in the factory built in the colossuses tooth, they've gained the ire of the factories upper management, a man named Lazaret, who seems to have it out for Crow specifically. Can Crow keep it all together, see the job through, and figure out what's most important to them before it's too late and they lose it all? We're about to find out.

The character scripts vary in length, which is why pricing on each role is different (the higher the price, the more lines you can expect to speak (though the longest character script, Crow's, amounts to around 5000 words of dialogue or so)), though this is still a small indie game production working with a small budget. This is a paid gig that'll be paid upon completed audio delivery (and any revisions needed to be done being completed). Audio files can be delivered in .mp3, .wav, .flac, or .ogg. Can either deliver as one or multiple recordings with multiple lines, or separate audio files for each line, really any method of delivering the lines works with me. Microphone quality is open to a pretty broad quality range, though less background audio is preferred, I'm a decent audio editor and plan to mess with all the audio sent to me regardless for the game's tone & atmosphere.

The deadline for auditions is March 24th, 2025 at 12 PM PST. There will be no casting before this deadline to let people audition as I'm finalizing the scripts. Once all roles have been confirmed and scripts sent out, the deadline for line delivery is May 5th, 2025 at 12 PM PST. For those who are picked for roles, for communication I'm open to either Casting Calls DMs, email, or Discord to communicate, whichever works best for you. I may ask for a few line revisions from what's delivered, and the line revision deadline will be May 26th, 2025 at 12 PM PST.

If you'd like to ask any questions, feel free ask here in the comments, or shoot me a DM. The game will be released under "Yai Gameworks" on Steam, which is the moniker of all the games I've worked on. This project is one I'm having a lot of fun developing, and will likely release either in late 2025 or early 2026.

The playable protagonist, a Structural Integrity Engineer who does contractual labor under Ghost, while also maintaining their long-term relationship with a girl named Bunny. Crow is an introverted and kinda' to themselves non-binary critter who is at a stressful point in their life. The people they care most about have conflicting directions they want to take them in, while also being pressured and put upon by an unreasonable manager at the factory they're supposed to be inspecting who's giving them a lot of trouble. Recently, they've felt a bit like a bird trapped in a cage, and need to figure out what truly matters to them before they maybe lose it all. They tend to tackle life a bit sardonically, but as a way of coping with how much they truly do care about everything precious in their life and they're loyal to.

The voice of the character can be masculine, feminine, or androgynous. They give a lot of observational comments to their environment during gameplay, while also getting caught up in drama with other characters that flare up their emotions during high-impact cutscenes. Someone who has a nice speaking voice when sorta' talking to themselves, who can have flares of emotional response that they're trying to hold back, will mean a lot for this rather quiet little being's role. As the main character, they have the most dialogue of any of the characters, with around 5000 words of dialogue, thus why their role is worth the most.

  • "Bunny, are you alright? You'd tell me if something was wrong, right?" ((With a bit of tenderness and concern about their significant other acting odd, being delicate but worried.))

  • "What's your problem? I'm just doing my job." ((A bit annoyed at someone giving them trouble, calling it out but trying not to make a big scene either.))

  • "Why was the structural engineer so calm? Because they had all their stresses under control!" ((Muttering a little knock-knock joke to themselves as buy with work, keeping themselves entertained.))

Bunny is a rascally gal who wears her emotions on her sleeves. She's in a long-term relationship with Crow, who's come along to live with them all the way deep down into the decaying mouth of a dying colossus. She's trying to find her place here, though it's her first time she's spent an extended stay away from her home. She's feeling a bit lonely honestly, which has made her a bit clingy to Crow. She soon also starts getting harassed by an ex of hers who invasively re-enters her life, though she tries to establish firm boundaries with their ex, and tries to emphasize to Crow how much she doesn't want him here and how egregiously he's re-entered her life. She's stressed, afraid to be alone right now, and the stench of the mouth they're in is getting to her. Still, she can see she's not the only one sinking here, and tries to be there for her significant other through it all.

The voice of the character is feminine, though I'm open to it being a lighter, neutral, or deeper tone. This role is a bit more emotionally demanding as Bunny is a bit more of an emotional character, so someone who can be expressive will be valued a lot here. They have roughly around 2500 words of dialogue to be voiced.

  • "Uh-huh? Y'know, you're really cute when you get all focused! Deep in thought, crunching those big ole' numbers, fluttering those little wings of yours, as if you're barely able to contain your thoughts~"" ((Upbeat, teasing and being a big dork who's feeling very loving.))

  • "There's not a single thing you could offer me that I'd want, just leave me alone already!!" ((Worked up, upset, her ex is buggering her and she's trying to tell him to fuck off already.))

  • "You said we were supposed to be in this together, but how can we be together when you're never here?" ((On the verge of crying, frustrated, but more than anything, lonely.))

Lazaret

Paid: Flat Rate 25 USD

The industrious owner of a factory nestled deep within the cavity of a dying colossus, Lazaret is both the man who mined a God and claims to be its prophet. Pioneering a new form of work-faith unity, where work is like the cult of family, he has a powerful speaking voice, and is boisterous with his presence. He speaks with an authority he both grants himself, and claims that God speaks to him and has granted him with authority too. He has a bone to pick with Crow, who's come to inspect his factory. Now a few regulations may not be up to snuff, but that's the price for spending time herding the lost sheep, and attempting something that's never been tried before by a fully alive organic mine. This is uncharted territory! Pushing what mankind's ever tried before! It'd be rightly kind of Crow to just turn the other cheek and look the other way. But they don't. And what's more, that pretty thing Crow's got attached to their side, Bunny, is Lazaret's ex. Well now aren't things just getting mighty personal?

Lazaret speaks full of confidence and is rather intelligent. He's a passionate man who demands to be heard, though with a rage built up that even he can't fully control towards whomever is unfortunate enough to catch his ire. He wants to be bigger than life in every way, and has big ambitions with an even bigger ego, but deep down he's simply a small and spiteful man. He roughly has 2000 words of dialogue.

  • "Yup! We've been fully operational for six years strong now, ready yet to tackle another 25 years easily!" ((Boisterous, full of pride and confidence.))

  • "You can pretend that we've never laid bare together, that we've never fucked! But that slight quiver of your tender lips reveals it all over your face. You can't stop obsessing over me, Bunny~!" ((Said with a full ego, a false gentleness, seizing opportunity for control and to close the gap between the one still fond in his own heart.))

  • "Damn you, Crow! May the sun torch your wings, and Her holy gullet swallow you whole to a rickety old depth so foul that it hadn't been seen by mortal eyes since the genesis of sin!" ((Full of contempt, expressed through colorful descriptors full of meaning and passion to him.))

Ghost

Paid: Flat Rate 20 USD

Crow's contractor, an older gentleman who works from within the shadows. He has eyes and ears everywhere, and has a prestigious reputation to uphold. Crow and Ghost go way back, they have a long history together, they've dined together, they've been there for each other. But at the same time, Crow cannot fail him. Giving Crow this tricky assignment, Ghost expects excellence. And if he doesn't get what he wants, he has measures to make sure things will ultimately go his way.

Ghost speaks in a deeper masculine tone, with a certain charisma that can be swiped out for a more unnerving tone. He's sorta' speaks like a devil on your shoulder, he knows what you're up to, he can reassure you and knows how to say the right thing to you if you're doing right by him, but he can turn far more sour and sinister if you're not doing your job correctly. He fluctuates between nearly purr and a snarl, a tongue laced with honey or venom. He doesn't yell, he doesn't get angry, he gets cold and sinister when he's been wronged. But he'll always collect and always deliver on excellence, that is his promise to all who he deals with. The role has roughly about 1500 words of dialogue.

  • "Oh, my sweet little Crow. Hurry on your way now. I've arranged a new nest deep inside that rotting tooth, a place just for you and your sweetheart." ((Talking business, an informant giving his operator the living quarters he'll need for the task ahead of him.))

  • "Now Crow, you wouldn't be thinking of leaving this job half-finished? Of troubling me with this disappointing performance? Oh no no no, that will not do I'm afraid. That would be a singular blight on my reputation that I've worked so hard to maintain, you see." ((Said in a tone like speaking down to a disobedient child, a sinister tone kicking into how they speak to them.))

  • "Come closer, little Crow. As there's unspeakable matters for us to attend to... Hahahaha~ " ((Said like a demon purring in the ear, sinister, calculated, malicious but alluring. Try doing a legitimately creepy evil sorta' laugh for the end "Hahaha~" there, curious to hear.))

An unnerving giant woman who crawled out from the back of the colossuses throat. She's several meters tall, can play with an adult human like they're a doll in her hands, and is always smiling. She's an enigma and hard to read. Half the time she's like a curious and almost saintly woman with a touch of compassion and delicacy to all life around her. The other half, she's a vicious, feral, cryptic and cruel woman, speaking in riddles with a malicious intent to tear the limb off whoever's nearby for her own sadistic amusement. About as likely to give you a genuine warm embrace as she is to peel your skin off with her teeth and a snicker.

She has a feminine voice, the exact tone between light to deep I'm open minded to, but being able to sell both sides of herself is important for the role. She at times can seem as a holy, caring, righteous, and curious as a saint, to then be contrasted with her vicious and malicious basically feral other half. Someone who can nail both sides will be who gets the role. She roughly has 1200 words of dialogue, though that includes some monster sounds.

Note: This role will contain some sinister laughing, monster-like noises, and the like.

  • "Sit, please. And tell me what it is that troubles you so?" ((Caring, maternal, genuinely concerned and trying to comfort.))

  • "Take a whiff of the forbidden fruit, that freshly peeled off skin smell!" ((Darkly amused with herself, sadistic and almost slithery, knowing this is troubling to the one she's offering it to, relishing in that.))

  • "*A snarl, a biting sound, then a sinister giggle*" ((Some of the role is to be more of a monster than a person, in this bit she lets out a snarl, then bites down in front of another person's face to intimidate them, then giggles to themselves in sadistic amusement of how scared they are as she toys with her prey.))
