[PAID] VA's for YouTube Animation - Episode 1

Project Overview

Hello Everyone!

This casting call is for Episode 1 of an animation that will be released as part of a YouTube channel show. We will be starting in January. The first episode will be released mid-January. The workload is not too cumbersome and we are willing to pay for your time and effort <3 The show will be on the darker side. We need your help bringing our characters to life!

We're casting for 6 roles at this time (2 main and 4 minor in this episode). For main roles (plus retakes), we're paying between $20-$50 for each Episode depending on efforts and success. Minor roles (plus retakes) can expect to receive between $5-$10. Some roles only have 1 line in Episode 1. Of note, these may fluctuate - e.g. 1 role in Episode 1 is minor but will become main, and we will increase the pay. Also, we are planning on releasing a new Episode monthly so there is opportunity to work with us long-term! We may pay extra for loyalty! PayPal will be the means of payment unless we can work something else out.

We initially intended to voice the project, but have had difficulties and would like your professional help and talent! Episode 1 script is ready to release to voice actors. We do have a relatively tight deadline for the first episode but will be ahead of the game for the following episodes :)

We will communicate primarily through Discord and here on CCC.

Please submit clean recordings and feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Also, feel free to audition for multiple roles if you can bring the character to life in its own way. Have fun!

    Merry Christmas All!

    Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who as already submitted an audition. We really appreciate all of your hard work! Also, thank you to those who have auditioned for multiple roles!

    I wanted to let everyone know that we will be reviewing auditions starting tomorrow and you should expect feedback within the coming days. Please note, this project will be on the darker side and expect more to come on that later~ Think Nightmare Before Christmas but rated closer to PG13/R.

    I know this project was posted on relatively short notice, but thankfully, there aren't too many lines per character.

    We are hoping to gather a dedicated group who can work with us long-term. We are looking forward to reviewing your submissions. Thank you for the enthusiasm and excitement around the project!

This character is a main character in the animation. He is intelligent and quirky and lives with his brother. He is in love with a girl who may be out of his league as well. For the voice, take inspiration from Yuri Lowenthal's Spiderman or Deku from MHA or feel free to improvise and/or add your own personal touch ^_^ This character is a bit rebellious and inquisitive/questioning of the world around him.

For the voice, take inspiration from Dabi from MHA or Okurun in Turbo Granny Form from Dan Da Dan or again, feel free to improvise and/or add your own personal touch ^_^ This character is a bit darker than his brother.

This character plays a pivotal role in the series as a guide and follower. He is morbidly obese and visits the other characters often or is found in the church. He should sound saintly or priestlike, serious yet also comical. Feel free to improvise here as well. For inspiration, think "the Pope".
