Adreena is the primary antagonist for this episode and is slated to return in S03E06, S04E01, S04E06, and S05E01. Adreena is a housewife and mother obsessed with acquiring magic powers, to the point of neglecting her children and her marriage. This pursuit has put her marriage to Chuck on the rocks. In this episode she finally actualizes magic power, but in a monkey's paw sort of way, rendering her real life the appearance of her favorite sitcom. She is portly and looks vaguely like Roseanne or Dawn French in their respective heydays. In S03E06 and S04E01 you'll be playing both a young and middle-aged version of the character.

Chuck, Chuck, baby. Listen honey, I had to buy that garnet! You’ve got to understand. I’m so close to casting my first spell. So, so close, and I needed a gem in my diadem. Look. See? I can feel it. The magic is almost here!
(reading Madison's palm) Give me your hand please. (beat) You are a woman who knows what she wants, only now you don’t. You keep your true face hidden from others. And soon you will hold a small child in your arms and comfort her.
I’m going to find it. Or I’m going to find other gems of power. You saw what I could do with two that weren’t even as strong as the ones the two women had.
Adreena's husband. Secondary antagonist. Will return in S03E06 and S04E01. He's a regular, working-class guy who doesn't understand his wife's obsession with magic. He becomes a parody of a sitcom character, once Adreena casts her spell. He will be asked to speak in a pseudo-Shakespearean accent at points.

(angry) Adreena! Look at this credit card bill! How are we supposed to eat this month‽
You should love your children more. If you don’t stop with the magic stuff and pay more attention to your family, I may just take Bettie and Ronni and leave!
I don’t think that’s what he meant when he said what he said.
Gene is an older fellow, historian, and jeweler, specializing in in magic gems and their folklore. Gene knows more about what's going on than he lets on and doesn't really take sides. He's calm, measured, and somewhat charming. This is Gene's only appearance, IIRC, in season three, but he makes multiple appearances in season four, so there will be opportunities to return.

Eugene Van Der Pyle, broker of fine stones from magic gemstones to flint stones.
Here’s your gem. It will pair nicely with the one you already have in your crown.
Amazing how you do that. I guess I should consider myself lucky. Most beginning sorcerers would have just tried to steal one from me with magic. But what they forget is that magic has unintended consequences. Well, ta-ta.
Larry Barr is a college friend of Trevor's who is deep into the Renaissance Faire life. He's the organizer of the Faire in which this is set. He's sort of a man child, as he has a collection of medieval weaponry and such. He will, at points, be asked to speak in a pseudo-Shakespearean manner.

Lords and ladies, our next bout features Tom Bagby, the Earl of Olé versus Craig Gregory, the Black Knight. Gentlemen, raise your morning stars. (beat) And begin!
(Shakespearean) Would that I could, my lord. But, in truth, I cannot seem to stop speaking this way. And I do not wish to get between them with a real weapon in play.
Anyway, as I was saying, the combat arena is over there. The artisan camp is there. The food vendors are over that way. The smithy and gift shop are there. And our soothsaying mystic is over there. She’s really quite good.
