Project Overview

I'm seeking a voice actor for an upcoming new follower mod for the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. You'll be breathing life into the character of Lum Blood-Eye, an Orc mage ostracised by his kin for his albinism and affinity for 'magicka'.


In particular, the actor should be comfortable emulating the distinct speech patterns of Lum Blood-Eye. He often omits conjunctions, articles, and pronouns whilst speaking in a quick, clipped style that conveys an ever-moving mind. Yet, beneath his intellect is the fearsome heart of an Orc. In the texture of his voice should lie the deep, growling undertones for which his kind are known.


This mod's scope is relatively small (approximately 100-200 lines) and is unpaid. If you're willing to lend your vocal talent to Lum Blood-Eye and his adventures with the Dragonborn, I'd love to hear your auditions. Until then, happy modding!

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for all of your efforts in Lum Blood-Eye's casting process. I found a lot to love in each audition!

    After careful consideration, I'm happy to announce that Urgie has been chosen to lend his vocal talent to Lum. Your audition showed a great depth and was a pleasure to receive!

Lum Blood-Eye grew up in Crun Granosh, an Orc stronghold on the Skyrim-Hammerfell border. His peers bullied him for his albinism. As such, he spent a lot of time with his grandmother (Morga), the tribe's wise-woman. Though magic is considered feminine in Orcish culture, Lum took to it eagerly.

When Lum came of age, he attempted to usurp his father - as is Orc custom. Having spent his years doing nothing but studying magic, he had grown into a pathetic physical specimen. He lost, was cast out, and enrolled in the College of Winterhold.

There, he became prone to long hours of study in the Midden. On multiple occasions, he fell asleep in its depths. Upon waking, he would rush upstairs only to find that nobody particularly cared about his absence. He isolated himself further, eventually making the Midden his home where he set out to build a 'New Orsinium'. Of course, nobody noticed.
