Project Overview
This fandub project is a collection of 6-7 Hildibrand quests (cutscene collection only);
"Don't Call It A Comeback"
"The Gigi Situation"
"Measure of a Mammet"
"A Gazebo to Call Our Own"
"Don't Trust Anyone Over Sixty" just to name most of them
The script my friend was supposed to work on apparently got forgotten, SO the ONLY scipt available for this 1 hour long "movie" is only at video form. I apologies the inconvienence. The UPDATED video link without voices is down below (I advice to watch this instead of that outdated video. These had no voice to begin with btw and might take awhile to process it).

I don't include my character "Michiyo Hirabayashi" here (the one in maid outfit in the video) because she is a silent protagonist, but if anyone wants, I'll put here there as extra role to do some adlibbing or so.

Dorys seem to be leader of the Grand Ser's. I really don't know what to say about her...
[This line is suppose to be shouted out as epic introduction] Bearer of faces fair and fearsome, the midnight shadow which hath deceived kings and queens! Doooooorys!
[Her comeback after Cyr calling her naive] And yet here you are, so effortlessly and easily lured into our trap. For which we are most grateful, mind--my companions are hardly cut out for life on the road. [short pause] All has been in preparation for this moment. The parties, the petty schemes--from the first, the objective of this grand design has been this singular mammet.
[After Hildibrand threathened Dorys saying if they harm Gigi in anyway...] We have no desire to hurt the "boy". We but require his help to reclaime that which is rightfully ours; our youth.
Michiyo Hirabayashi is a female Au Ri/Au Ra who likes to dress up cutely, but beware... behind that sweet and cute look hides a cunning Ninja with Dual Diamond Daggers.
[this is a silent protagonist so just go with the flow]
There's not much to tell about Grand Ser's. sadly... Orland is a senile old man... That's all there is to it.
[This line is suppose to be shouted out as epic introduction] Slayer of thousands, thousands of wyrms, the silver spear which hath pierced the very heavens! Ooooooorland!
[after blasted off to the skies] Gods, how I missed this! The air streaming past, the blood pumping, the taste of copper on my lips, the slight dizziness... [small pause, remembering his passed beloved] It was on a day like this that we met, wasn't it? And when we soared into those azure skies we never truly came back down...
[still going further up seeing his beloved descended from heavens ready to take him on the embrace, surprised] Do mine eyes deceive? Pigsney of my heart, descended from Halone's halls to guide me to Her bosom!?
Hildibrand Manderville, agent of enquiry, inspector extraordinaire, is a detective and helped by his lovely and faithful assistant Nashu Mhakaracca. This suave individual brings his exquisite problem solving talents to Eorzea.
[after being pulled out from snow by Godbert] Where... where am I? The snowy wastelands of Coerthas? And who are these people I see before me? [small pause, cue Hildibrand's theme music, realization and doing his signature pose and teeth shine thing] Ah, but of course! Who else would venture inhospitable climes and wake me from slumber sweet but my beloved fans.
Nashu, please. Note the firm, muscular legs, not unlike my own. 'Tis clearly a Lalafellin boy!
[to Cyr after he said that he cannot be serious to call mammet a Lalafellin boy] I am very soul of seriousness, good sir--especially in matter of deduction. This is undoubtedly a young boy who, much like myself, fell into a deep slumber being buried beneath the snow. Now then, let us gently wake him and ascertain his identity.
Julyan Manderville is Godbert Manderville's wife and the mother of Hildibrand Manderville. While a doting mother to Hildibrand, Julyan is terrifying when mad as even her husband fears her. Julyan is stronger than her husband as she can easily defeat Gilgamesh by knocking him through a wall with only a frying pan. She later appears in Coerthas Western Highlands with Godbert. Upon knowing she is now the grandmother of GiGi, she is overcome with rage, acquiring a black aura and glowing red eyes, making both her son and her husband flee from her in fear. (see the picture)
[see her profile picture, enraged with glowy red eyes, dark black-red aura emitting from her after hearing being called grandmama Julyan] And what's so bloody grand about it...? [the aura gets stronger and she sneers in very menacing matter which leads both Hildibrand and Godbert flee at full speed.]
[still the same hostile aura and glowy red eyes, she stops next to Tiru as to speak to her but doesn't make eye contact] I'll not be made grandmother to a bloody buggering mammet. It's past time I beat some sense into my beloved boy... [after that she walks after them]
Nashu Mhakaracca is a minor non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. She is a female Miqo'te comic-relief character and the sidekick of Hildibrand Manderville. While those who meet Hildibrand learn of his idiocy and lack of competence soon after, Nashu is in awe of his "talents" as an investigator. Proving to be as much of a scatterbrain as her employer, taking extremes on matter, Nashu fixates on pumpkins and has a short attention span.
[After Cyr called Hildibrand a "heretic", offended] Inspector Hildibrand is definitely not a heretic! And he's probably not dead either! He's... he's just hibernating, like last time!
[Hildibrand, Cyr, Nashu, Gentle Dead Man, Godbert and Tiru all gather around the newly found mammet "Gigi"] A little Lalafellin girl! How adorable!
[After the vase in Ishgard was repaired by Gigi's magicks] Well, would you look at that!
There's no wiki about him but let's just say, he's one of the undead zombies that are faithful followers of Hildibrand Manderville and part of his "Zombibrand" fandom. Minor role.
[after trying to pull Hildibrand out from the snow with Nashu] *huff* *puff* Forgive me. If I pull any harder, my arms are like to tear...
[do some grunting sounds]
Like "Gentle Dead Man", Cyr Mason doesn't have wiki page either, but he (yes Cyr is a MALE even tho he looks so feminine) has a major part in this collection.
[After Dorys introduced herself] You can't possibly have been so naive as to think we'd not see through your ridiculous disguises!
[After Orland's and Gonspart's introduction, trying to suppress laughter/cry with straight face] ... I don't know whether to laugh or to cry. Mayhap both.
[after Hildibrand have woken up from his "slumber sweet", slightly disappointed] ...Why do I feel as though I've stepped through a portal into an alternate reality unbound by the laws of logic?
Gigi (Also known as Vivi (no surprise)) is a mammet in this game. Mammets are fully operational clockwork puppets, built in a joint effort by the Alchemists' and Goldsmiths' Guilds. Basically they are some sort of robots. Gigi has lost his memory and cannot remember anything until the very late on the video reminding his true name and who made him (he remembers his/hers/it's creator to be "Grandpapa Quan".
[after Godbert gently "hammers" him 6 times to wake him up] GIGI⁜GIGIGI★⁜... WhAt... WhAt Is ThIs PlAcE? wHo... WhO aM i?
[back at Ishgard still not remembering anything, giving up] WhY bOtHeR. iT's No UsE...
[after becoming a "real man" momentarily by the hands of Godbert Manderville, to Hildibrand] PaPa HiLdY! i'M... i'M a MaNdErViLlE mAn!
Frine is a Merchant/Mender in Holy See Ishgard in the game. She has a very minor role in this collection interaction wise so I cannot really give any detailed info because there are none.
[sadly she only have this one line in this collection, crossing her arms clearly pissed off because Hildibrand broke her 700 years old vase, when asked how much worth it was.] One hundred and twenty-three million, five hundred and four thousand gil, at last assessment. 'Twas over seven hundred years old and graced the homes of a dozen archbishops, eight counts, two lord commanders and one duke.
Godbert Manderville is a master goldsmith, he had recently acquired a seat on this Syndicate. He is the father of Hildibrand Manderville and husband to Julyan Manderville. He is best described by his son to have an aura of murderous rage, displaying superhuman strength and speed on occasion. The only person fears is his wife Julyan. His appearance is in contrast to the sort of man he actually is—in truth, Godbert is kind, polite, and civic-minded realizing that the foundation of wealth is built on the prosperity and happiness of an entire community, not just a few. Thus he supports the Starlight Celebration with funding (albeit anonymously) and is a large part of the reason he runs the Manderville Gold Saucer—his goal is to bring joy and contentment to the realm as much as it is to attain financial success. While he's often nearly as much of a comedic stooge as his son, he does not share his son's lack of skill in his chosen profession. While the results are perhaps not always what a client may have had in mind, Godbert's skill at goldsmithing is prodigious and he is described as being the finest goldsmith in Eorzea, beyond even Gerolt, which has formed the backbone of his family's modern fortune.
[Addressing to Gigi who wishes to be a real boy] Are you sure about this, son? It may sting a little...
[after Gigi has knocked down Hildibrand and doing the Manderville Dance] *sniffle* Now that brings back some memories...
[after Hildibrand has told him and his mother about that he adopted Gigi as his son and being sorry to not tell earlier, surprised] Ye gods, I knew he was fond of the mammet, but did you hear that, woman!? Our son's gone and got himself a son!
Pert of the Grand Ser's. He's always hungry, falls asleep every now and then and seems to be very absent and short-minded.
[This line is suppose to be shouted out as epic introduction] Master of magicks ancient and awesome, the divine hand which hath defeated all maladies save senescence and incontinence! Gooooooonspart!
*snores but wakes up suddenly to ask* Hey... is it time for dinner yet? *goes back to sleep/snoring after Dorys told him that he already ate*
[after taking his time to realize he needs to save Orland with his Magicks] Oooh, you are referring to me! I see, i see... With all haste, was it? Yes, yes, I'll get right on that.
