Great responses
Wow guys, some really talented people out there! Thank you all for submitting. I look forward to sifting through all these and do not look forward to trying to decide which. You're all super!
This is a fan-written story, set on a planet, which finds our protagonist in a desperate situation. The antagonist (the character you are auditioning for) has the upper hand and is enjoying himself far too much.

This part is for a science fiction audio drama set in the Blake's 7 Universe. This character was not part of the original series but he is set within characters from it.
This character is theatrical and extravagent. I see him as very similar to Aubrey Woods' portrayal of Krantor from Gambit, with a strong, deep, expressive voice. It doesn't have to be a direct imitation, but should follow this description.

Oh, without doubt. I am Claren Braze, by the way. A pleasure to finally meet you. Yes, you’ve been through quite the ordeal haven’t you? I do apologise.
Hmmm. Of course, your crew were there at the very beginning.
For centuries we’ve theorised that natural selection has driven how humankind experiences the universe, discarding anything not beneficial for survival. On Earth, telepathy was not developed like it was on Auron, where it gave a distinct advantage. The world as we see it through the prism of spacetime is far from fundamental. There is something deeper, Avon, and I have felt it.
