Daybreak - More Roles
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Daybreak is a 1vs8 asymmetrical horror game on ROBLOX. One of our main selling points is our character lore and interactions, and many of our players love to learn more about them and their backstories. We are interested in expanding on our characters by giving them all unique voices. This post is for more roles not included in our initial post!
PAYMENT
Currently we cannot offer USD for roles. The game is still small, although it's growing with each update. However we can offer ROBUX payment for those who actually use ROBLOX. This project as a whole has mostly been fun, and I have gotten very little money from it considering the time I put in.
REQUIREMENTS
- Please be available to use Discord! It's our primary source of communication.
- Have a decent microphone
- SOUND MATURE! We are not looking for children. (even though it's a roblox game i know ASDKLJAS) All characters are 18+ (however you don't need to be 18 to play them, you just need to sound it)
- Our game has lots of LGBTQ+ content and a diverse cast of characters. If this isn't something you'd like, it's probably best to steer clear of this project.
- Survivors will likely be asked to record noises such as breathing and screaming, if this seems unfeasible for you please be cautious.

Please note that although all roles are marked as 'North American', you can audition regardless of accent unless it says something else! We also do not have any intended voices for any characters really, hence why there's no voice descriptions. We're open to hearing all types of voices for them!

Arlo Flores was a med student who put all his time into studying, overworking himself without even realizing it.
[You're expressing concern for a fellow survivor] I-I know that you like thrills… But… This is dangerous, Riley.

[Everyone else has fallen, and you're the last one alive] This… This is my fault…
Cora Madden is an investigative journalist, who discovered a horrible secret about the murder of her mother.
[You're encouraging another survivor while helping them] "We can't do this alone. Stay strong."
[You're talking to another survivor, although you seem unsure] "What happened to your mom... Was it true?"
[You're the last survivor left, thinking about someone who hurt you in the past] "I can't fall now. I won't let him get his way. I can't...!"
Mamo Ikaika was an up and coming softball star, but after a horrific crash on her way to a match -- she was never seen again.
[You're helping another survivor up] "This’ll be fast. Just stay still."
[Another survivor has died, and you feel as though you have a connection with them despite the fact you don't know the] "I feel like I should be… sorry…"
[You've just stunned one of the killers with your bat, and you're pumped full of adrenaline and mad] "You like hurting people!?"
Elizabeth Payne was a prisoner at an all women's high security prison before a deadly riot ensued.
[You've just picked yourself up, in a bit of pain] "That never gets easier."
[You've just encountered your lover, who you were worried about] "Yvonne...! Is it really you...?"
[You're talking to another survivor who's gone through something you have] "I know what you've been through... Just stay strong, okay?"
Yvonne Kojo was a prisoner at an all women's high security prison when a deadly riot ensued, separating her from her love as everything became a blur.
[You're in chase with a killer and feeling cocky] "*chuckle* You can’t catch me, yawa girl!"
[You're the last survivor left and you're feeling optimistic] "Alright chale... Looks like it's on me!"
[You're patching up another survivor and trying to make a joke] "Hang tight Wolfe [wolf] boy! I'mma patch you right up!"
Lyndon Davenport is a pirate who's very name strikes fear into those who have heard the tales about him. He's cruel and unforgiving and will do anything to get what he wants. (Lyndon's voice should sound like your average pirate impression, a bit rough and out there)
[You're helping up another survivor, although you're not used to modern things yet] "I dunno how t' do all this. Stay still."
[You're seeing a killer from the sea and feeling angry at it] "A creature like ye needs t' go back t' where it came from."
[You've just saved another survivor with the help of your trusty pet parrot Rauhm] "Har. Well done, Rauhm."
Eman Attia was a highschool student who's entire life changed after one awful evening at detention. Prior to that, she was more of a loner.
[You're helping another survivor up, although you don't really like them] "Just come on and get up, okay? We don't have all day..."
[One of your closest and only friends has died during the trial] "N-No...! No.. C-Come on...! Not him..."
[You're hiding from the killer who's out of earshot and turned away] "Okay... Okay... C-Come on... Don't see me."
Yronica Ayala was a highschool student known for being fake and often causing problems.
[You're regrettably helping up another survivor] "God... This is so gross! Just get up!"
[Another survivor has died around you] "*quiet snort laugh* What a loser. Thanks for the help~!"
[You're the last survivor left] "Well obviously all you freaks would just up and die like that... Ugh!"
Aaaqil Che was a very timid and intelligent boy harboring a crush one of his best friends.
[You're helping up your friend and secret crush] "I-It's okay... L-Let me help you, a-alright?"
[Your closest friend has just died in the trial and you can't believe it] "No... No...! W-What am I gonna do... without him?"
[You've just escaped chase with the killer] "T-This is insane... W-What's going on...!?"
The Host, otherwise known as Alexis Hargrove was a scientist in a hush-hush arctic compound. She was testing on a specimen when she found it to be dangerous, although her warnings fell on deaf ears -- leading her to become the new host and go on a massacre in the compound. She speaks slowly due to the frost consuming her and often speaks few words.
[You're chasing after a survivor] "Can't... run..."
[A survivor has just ran into your trap] "Watch... your... step..."
[You've just downed a survivor] "Fast... enough...?"
The Ghost, otherwise known as Kiara Cruz, was a bubbly party girl who loved to go out and explore what the night had to offer. One night ended in horror as she was inebriated and kidnapped, ending up in a dark and terrifying basement chained to the wall. Kiara tried her best to escape, but most of her attempts were in vain. Except for that one special night -- October 31st. Kiara managed to turn the tides on her attackers after whittling down the chains that once restricted her. She grabbed the first weapon she saw and got her revenge.
Or so she thought. All but one of her tormenters had been slain, and he was dead set on making sure she wouldn't live to tell the tale. A rough fight followed by a slam to the head and Kiara Cruz was no longer breathing. But now she had become something else... something new. A vengeful ghost who won't rest until she gets justice. She speaks very upbeat and doesn't take things very seriously.
[You're chasing a survivor] "Come on girl! What are you running for~?"
[You've just downed a survivor, and now you're teasing them] "Huh... That's funny. Where's your little boyfriend~?"
[You've just downed a survivor who made you angry] "You and that stupid bat! Just die!"
The Virtuoso, otherwise known as Nadiya, was an introverted artist who spent most of her time honing her craft. Although those around her bashed her art and called it names, often mocking it for it's weird and nonsensical nature -- Nadiya persisted. She had persisted all her life and although words hurt, she would never let them stop her. Her perception is the only thing that matters. Not anyone else. She keeps things blunt and tends to speak in a more sophisticated manner than the other killers.
[You've just downed a survivor] "It would seem that our perception was not the same."
[You've just blocked a vault, and cockily teasing the survivor] "Are you paying attention?"
[You've just downed a survivor who went against you] "You will not change my perception! Not now, and not ever!"
The Stalker, otherwise known as Taliyah Mehta, was never really normal. Growing up she stuck to herself and spent all her time out in the woods on her own. But no one, especially not her parents, would've expected her to grow into a person so twisted that she tortures and hunts others for fun.
Her knife obsession grew violent one night, and she's been on the run ever since. Taliyah speaks in a very playful way, not caring to hide her sadistic side.
[You've just revealed the locations of all the survivors] "Hide and seek... My favorite."
[You've just killed a survivor, and now you're teasing anyone who can hear you] "They always hide, but they can't ever run..."
[There's one survivor left, and you're hunting them down] "No one escapes. I won't let you!"
Daryl Ross was a principal before joining the mist. He's completely lost his mind due to something awful that happened to his daughter, and now he's looking for revenge.
[You've just downed a survivor whom you have a personal connection to] "(playfully) Yronica... Don't die so soon... (switch to serious) I'm not done with you."
[You've just killed a survivor who had a connection to what happened, and now you're shouting for all to hear] "You all just sit there and do nothing... But do you forget that bystanders are just as guilty!?"
[You're letting out a quick quip after downing a survivor] "Get out of my way."
Sanjana is an agent from the future. She's tough and takes nothing from nobody.
[You're interrogating someone] "Go on then, squeal."
[You've just escaped a chase] "Hm. That was easier than I thought."
[You're helping up another survivor] "I'm not playing games with you. Get up."
The Watcher is an unknown criminal who seems to be everywhere and know everything. This character currently does not have a gender decided so anyone is free to audition!
[You've just detected a survivor] "Like moths to the flame..."
[You've just downed a survivor] "Predictable movement. What did you expect?"
[You've just killed a survivor] "Running only makes it worse, you know?"
Amari was a wanderer going nowhere in life before being taken by the mist.
[You've just vanished from sight] "You can't catch what you can't see."
[You're helping another survivor up] "Let's get going. Can't waste too much time."
[You just escaped a chase] "What was that...? There's no way...!"
Emery was a magician before being taken by the mist.
[You've just disappeared] "Behold! Witness my newest trick!"
[You've just escaped chase] "Another vanishing act from Emery Rivera!"
[You're helping another survivor up] "Quick now, my assistant. We've got work to do!"
Once a normal statue, Lija has been overtaken by a parasitic group of plants that seem to be sentient.
[You're taunting a survivor] "Go ahead... Venture off the beaten path..."
[You're chasing a survivor] "You can't run forever... We'll always catch you."
[You've just downed a survivor] "Become one with the soil..."
Eiji Inagaki is the younger brother of Jun Inagaki, and an aspiring photographer. His troubled past with the werewolf means that each time they're together in a match, they both hurt.
[You're in chase with your ex-lover] "You aren't the same as you were back then... Neither am I...!"
[You've just blinded the killer with your camera] "This is what you get!"
[You're unsure of what has happened to your brother] "J-Jun...? W-What happened to him!? Jun!?"
