Gray

Ever send an audition and just think, "Man I could nail this... if I knew exactly what they were thinking."?

About Gray

Managed to fix up my professional microphone, and set up my pop filter alongside it, so my audio quality in auditions & project submissions should be far better now! This should be noticable on any auditions from Dec 22 onward.

I'm always lookin' for new voicework, so if you think I can pull off the voice you're looking for, please do let me know, my goal is to get noticed, after all, and what better way than to keep putting my voice out there?

Feel free to send me a DM for any reason, whether you're a project leader who wants an audition from me, a fellow voice actor that found one of my submissions interesting, or someone I sent a submission to that wants to test the voice with additional lines, or believes my takes were entirely off-point, I don't take offense to criticism, so don't feel hesitant to criticize my work, especially if its for your project.

Going off that same point, I'd rather know where my flaws are than continue to make the same mistakes.

My memory can falter, so if I don't give you a submission after you request one, feel free to remind me.

I keep my memory in check with some set reminders for projects though, so you don't need to worry about that, but if it'll make you feel more comfortable, you're free to remind me on assigned project work as well.

My other discord tag is 'grayva', incase discord ever retires the numbers tag completely.

Some Voice Information

My voice is very flexible, but it does take me a bit to get into an accent, the reason for this isn't an inability to do accents, but rather an inability to distinguish them from each other effectively.

I take the least amount of time to 'master' a teen or young-adult voice.

I take some time to 'master' an adult or child voice,

and I take the most time to 'master' a senior or older child voice (10-15ish?), as I have the least practice with these.

With all other types of voices being more of a project by project basis.

By 'mastering' a voice, I'm referring to the time it takes to complete the voice in a way I feel is worthy of a project.

In terms of other voice attributes... My pitch range is where I'm most flexible, I can go very low, and very high.

In terms of feminine voices... I feel as if I'm missing a piece to make it all click, some vocal technique or tidbit of knowledge I don't have, I'm sure I'll get there someday.

((Currently thinking up ways to organize a voice demo, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.))

The profile picture art is from a friend of mine named Lucki.
I'd put my contact email for VA work, but ccc will automatically censor that! So if you want to know what that is, look at my YT Channel Description.

In all seriousness, Gray is someone that is one of the most skilled people I’ve met. He’s a great voice actor, who doesn’t only have range, they also have energy and devote time to improving everyday. Alongside this he’s also a genuine treat to talk to. He’s responsible and makes sure things get done, and is also a kind person who can get along with almost anyone. It’s really a pleasure to work alongside him :)
