D&D Voices - Dead Gods (Paid)

Project Overview

Hi folks! I'm going to be running a D&D game for people soon, and I need a few voices to read for a certain part of the adventure.

The players will come upon the remnants of dead godlike entities that sense them but can't interact. Thus, I'll play a pre-recorded clip for the player to help them feel immersed, and they can then choose to accept the offer made by the entity or reject it. 

I've recorded the other 16 entities myself, but I am in need of some femme voices for these 3 ladies. Each part is only about 1 minute in length, so it should be a short task.
If you are interested, please feel free to submit an audition (without music or background noise, please).

  • SO many great auditions!

    Just... wow!

    Every time I come to Castingcall.club for voices, I'm utterly blown away by the enthusiasm and talent of the folks that audition. Narrowing all these down is going to be bittersweet - I honestly regret having only 3 roles that I need, as I'd love to cast as many of you as possible for something!

    This update isn't anything crazy, I simply want to say thank you for taking an interest in my little project. I'm sure my players are going to appreciate the voice work that gets used for this adventure, and I am now 100% confident that right voice for each character will be found.

    To all those that I will end up not casting - don't give up!!! You're all so good at this (yes, even you beginners out there!) At the end of the day, it really does just come down to director's preference most of the time, so don't lose heart! Keep auditioning and practicing and honing your craft.

    Voice acting is a hard field to make headway in, but the commonality that all successful VAs have is tenacity. That and patience. And passion for this art - ANYWAY, I'll end this by saying thank you once again. I wish you all the best of luck in 2023!

Fekre (feh-ker) is a being obsessed with disease and contagions. Her voice ought to be raspy or coarse, as if choked with spores. She may sound sickly, but there is command and control in her voice - she was a queen, after all! Lastly, her motive in life was revenge, so there's an edge to her tone when thinking about her enemies, and a giddiness when thinking about using disease to strike them down.


Description read to players:

You are mentally transported to a vast, dark stone chamber lined with twisted pillars and sculptures of snakes. At the opposite end of the chamber, upon a dais, rests a dark stone altar that bears a porcelain bowl decorated with simple swirling patterns. The bowl is filled with a bubbling purple liquid. 

Behind the altar stands a tall woman with pallid, purple-grey skin and a dress of deep violet. Her hair resembles a grey-green fungus that extends on either side of her head, and her eyes are covered with a purple fungus that mimics the shape of a masquerade mask.

Shami-Amourae (shah-mee uh-mor-ee) carries herself with elegance and poise, but is betrayed by her nature as a succubus. She speaks seductively, regarding the player like a toy. She also speaks softly, and takes small pauses between some lines to sigh or giggle. She is attempting to seduce the player to accept her gift, so she needs to come off strong and alluring, but not desperate or evil.


Description read to players:

You are mentally transported to a lush windowless parlor lit by flickering candlelight and filled with soft pillows, divans, love seats, and futons colored pink, pastel green, and scarlet red.

Upon a futon at the center of the room lies a barely clothed, inhumanly tall, breathtakingly beautiful woman. Her face is painted white, and her lips are a deep, crimson red. Her eyes are jade-green, and she wears a golden headpiece in her blonde hair that extends past each of her bare shoulders. She slowly sits up, takes a smooth drag from a long ornate pipe, and lifts a six-fingered hand, beckoning you.

Yrrga (yer-guh) has a square, authoritative tone and is very matter-of-fact when speaking. A good example for the kind of voice I'm looking for is that of Nyx from the game Hades - like a benevolent aunt that is cordial but extremely powerful and commanding when she needs to be.

Description read to players:

You are mentally transported to a circular glass platform floating in an endless, starry void. At the center of the platform, upon a raised glass pillar, rests a spherical object covered in a simple red cloth. Materializing from the darkness appears a woman’s silhouette, formed by the stars and planets of the surrounding void, her eyes a pair of swirling spiral galaxies.
