Looking for a chill and fun little project to practice your voice over work? Look no further!
This adorable webcomic offers a fun experience that I think will be a great learning experience for us all! This webtoon is absolutely adorable and I have not seen an 'official' comic dub of it yet so I thought, "Hey why not make one?"
The plot of the comic is pretty straightforward, "Follow the adventures of Cat Loaf and other pastry treats!" Is the basic blurb on the webtoon. It's a comedy/slice of life genre in other words.
It's divided up into ''arcs" so each character's relevance will likely be stronger in certain arcs and may not even appear at all in some arcs.
If you get cast for a role then make sure to let me know how you would like to be credited! This project is going to be posted on Youtube so keep that in mind.
All I ask you, the auditioner(s) is that you make sure there is little to no background noise and that your microphone is at least a decent quality! (If there's a little bit that may be ok since I can edit it out probably), I want to try and make this comic dub as clean as I can!
Since this webtoon isn't that long just yet the possibility for adding new characters is extremely likely so there will be more slots open when that time comes! Just another note, both roles Rosie and Hazel will likely not be appearing for a little bit but I decided to include them in the audition just as a head start in case someone really wants those roles! Please feel free to audition for as many roles as you like!

Cat Loaf is a very energetic character who is quite naive and innocent. They act quite childish but overall have good intentions, all for the sake of trying to have fun. This character's voice should sound very playful and have a lot of energy!
"Nya! Hi I'm Cat Loaf!"
"Oh! I know the perfect place for us to adventure!"
"Yeah, I always pounce by and think 'that place looks super dark and scary!' "
"Are you guys playing a game?! Can I play?!"
"....And then they put me in a box, and now we are playing hide and seek!"
"Oo where are you going?"
Tabs is a bit more level-headed than the likes of Cat Loaf but still just as sweet! They tend to be very easygoing but are also shown to get scared pretty easily! For Voice, I would imagine they would normally have an innocent-like tone but would have to be able to show emotions of fear and anger sometimes as well!
"Well um... I think I'd want to adventure in a place as warm and comfy as possible!"
"I'll um... I'll go find a napkin."
*Scared* "Um I-I... I-I'm not sure I want to adventure here..."
"I-I'm scared! It looks super dark and scary!"
*Concerned* "C-Cat Loaf? Say Something if you are ok!
*Amazed* "Wow Cat Loaf! You look like your ready to go on an adventure!"
The Cinnamon Bunnies or Cinna-Buns for short are a group of cinnamon rolls that attempt to be evil but really don't understand the concept and come off more as a joke than anything else. They should all be high energy invoice and have almost a bit of an obnoxious undertone. There will likely be more than one cinnamon bunny cast as there are several but if it ends up being one person try to differentiate the voices a little! (There are 4 speaking roles for these little guys just a quick note!)
"We can shower the breadcat with petals and blame it for the mess! Totally evil right?"
"LIES!"
"Hah! Changing the subject like an intruder would do! I knew it!"
"We could draw smiley faces on the Breadcat! Then it will look happy whether it likes it or not!"
"You know the punishment for trespassing?!"
"We'll need to do something... EVILLLL"
Lord Cinnabun is like the rest of his lackeys expect he has an attitude of superiority. He's a bit dumb to put it bluntly. For this character's voice, I can see it going a number of ways. So really just have fun on this character :D
"That is a Monumentally Stupid idea! *pause* I LOVE IT!"
"I love it... Almost as much as I love taking prisoners!"
*In a happy yet commanding tone* "Capture that breadcat!"
"Bow down to me breadcat, and I will consider letting you out of the box."
"Very well! Then we shall leave you in that box till your half dust bunny yourself! Or should I say dust kitty! Ahahaaaaha!"
Rosie is an artistic and creative mousse whose greatest passion is art. She is best friends with another mousse, Hazel who she often confides in. She develops an infatuation with Cat Loaf after he saves her from falling out of a window. For voice, I imagine a sound that has a very large range, this character has a lot of moments where she gets flustered and surprised so it would be good to show off some range!
*Surprised* "EEK! Knock before you enter!"
*Teasing* "Pffbt, you could still knock."
*Embarrassed* "It's not what it looks like!" It's not a love letter!"
*Bubbly* "I can't believe I'm hanging out with Cat Loaf! We're going to have so much fun together, make lots of good memories, and then we'll confess our love for each other! In fact, I'll confess RIGHT NOW!"
Hazel is the best friend of Rosie and is shown to be very supportive of her craft. She's a bit sassy and likes to tease and fluster her friend but shows genuine concern for her many times over. Voice wise I would imagine it would be medium/low range.
"Who cares what they think! It doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks! It doesn't even matter what Cat Loaf thinks as long as you are happy with yourself. With who you are!"
"Well, at least the Breadcat didn't eat Rosie... Though it doesn't look like it's going to well up there."
*Sigh* "If only Rosie were interested in those Choco-Hunks... But that won't help. I wish I could remind Rosie of the things that used to... Wait! That's it! I just need to remember where I put it..."
