Bin Weevils: The Movie

This mischief-making trickster is always coming up with kooky schemes to earn Mulch. His best pal, Clott, is never far from his side, and together they've come up with some epic pranks. The Bin buddies are constantly getting into sticky situations. He, along with Clott, has his own song in the movie, named “So Much Better With Two”, originally from the Bin Tunes album and was also released as a music video.

Bumbling and scatter-brained, he's guaranteed to destroy anything fragile! If he can go 10 minutes without tripping, it probably means he was asleep. Always up for an adventure, Clott is the only one who will go along with Tink's harebrained schemes. He's always in a bad mood, and that's the way he likes it. Anything and everything annoys him: rainy days, pop songs, loud laughter, Bin Pets, silly jokes... and especially the crazy antics of Tink and Clott!

She owns the Bin Pet Shop in the Shopping Mall, where she is happy to give friendly advice to new pet owners. She is an expert in everything to do with Bin Pets. She loves all the pets in the entire Binscape and is the kindest, most patient Bin Pet trainer – even when some pets are outrageously naughty!

The oldest of all the Bin Weevils always has a tale to tell about the good old days, and he'll ramble on for hours if you'll listen. From batting The Great Bin War to founding the Secret Weevil Service, Gam has led a majorly exciting life, and has no signs of slowing down. His team, the SWS, has their own song in the movie, named “Let’s Go!”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

She is the Bin's top party DJ. She's got all the coolest beats and the hottest tracks spinning, and when it's party time you can be sure that Slam's behind the planning. Slam is always wearing her enormous headphones and bopping along to a tune. She has her own song in the movie, named “Slam’s Jam”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

This intrepid explorer travels around in her trusty biplane. She's explored the Mulch Island archipelago and has stood on the Binscape's highest peaks! Flam's an ace mechanic and can fix anything - she's just as handy with a spanner as Rigg.

He is a gifted guitarist and songwriter who loves hanging out and practicing with his weevily band. He's a chilled-out dude who's always relaxed and never lets anything get to him. As long as he's got his guitar and a cold smoothie, he's happy. His Bin Band has a song in the movie, named “The Big Bin Weevil Ball”, originally from the Bin Tunes album and was also released as a music video and a single.

Dosh is the richest Bin Weevil of all, but he's certainly not stingy. He loves to share his wealth, and has been known to toss fistfuls of notes down from his elegant balcony. After all if he didn't give some Mulch away, how would he make room? He has his own song in the movie, named “Splosh the Dosh”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

Polished and stylish from head to toe, Posh loves the high life. From shopping everyday at the Shopping Mall to throwing glittering parties, Posh can afford the best thanks to her family's enormous fortune. She, along with Bunty, has her own song in the movie, named “Girls Rule!”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

He fancies himself a brilliant poet and playwright and is sure that he'll be the next Shakespeare. Unfortunately, most of his writing really stinks! He's usually trying to trick his friends into playing a part in his rubbish plays, which always go horribly wrong!

He has a perpetual cold, and when he doesn't have a cold, he has hay fever! Sniffle, snort, snuffle, sniff – that's how you know when Flem's around! Still, he doesn't let the sniffles get him down. He keeps himself busy rearranging furniture in his home, Flem Manor, and recommending the very best new nest items. That, and getting through a whole lorry-load of tissues!

If there was a world championship in worrying, Tab would take gold, silver and bronze. He worries from the moment he wakes up in the morning until the moment he falls asleep (which sometimes isn't until he's spent the whole night lying awake worrying). When Bin Weevils come into his shop, he worries. When no Bin Weevils come into his shop, he worries! Basically, Tab worries a lot.

As mad inventors go, Lab's got all the bases covered. From crazy gadgets to mysterious potions, his laboratory is filled with everything a scientist needs to get into a lot of trouble. Lab's inventions have a tendency to run amok and cause catastrophes. He has his own song in the movie, named “Whizz Pop Wallop Fizz”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

He built most of the Binscape and has grand plans for even further expansion. Sometimes his big imagination makes him say he built something even when he didn't, but nobody minds. He prides himself on keeping a clean and well-ordered construction site, but this sometimes proves difficult if Tink and Clott are around!

He does his job pretty well most of the time – if he can manage not to fall asleep from boredom. He'd like to become a pilot one day – but first he'll have to get over his fear of heights, or he'll never get off the ground!

He excels in everything from spring to slime-throwing. He's pretty full of himself and loves to be the centre of attention – and he can't stand coming second at anything!

He'll tap a rhythm out on anything in sight - including other Bin Weevils' top hats, which doesn't go over very well with Dosh! Bongo plays the drums in his band and can usually be found hanging out at the Jam Stand. His Bin Band has their very own song in the movie, named “The Big Bin Weevil Ball”, originally from the Bin Tunes album and was released as a music video and a single.

Song is an amazing weevily singer with one super-powerful voice! She lives for the stage and loves the limelight, especially when she gets to perform at a big Bin party. Her biggest ambition is to start a Bin Karaoke night to encourage everyone to sing! She, along with her Bin Band, has her own song in the movie, named “The Big Bin Weevil Ball”, originally from the Bin Tunes album and was released as a music video and a single.

He loves Christmas, and he never stops celebrating all year long! He makes his own decorations, and when there's no snow on the ground, he covers his nest with fake snow. Even in July, Bing totally refuses to take down his huge Christmas tree. He makes at least one decoration every day of the year! He has his own song in the movie, named “Christmas Every Day”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

Fling is the Bin's best dancer – he really knows how to boogie! Throwing a dance-off is one of his favourite things to do, and he might even dust off one of his glitteriest disco suits for the occasion. He owns Club Fling, the nightclub that never closes its doors.

He spends more time asleep than awake, although his napping doesn't keep him from having adventures - he's a frequent sleepwalker and often finds himself in strange places with no idea how he arrived there!

Punt likes to put on haughty airs and fancies himself a proper gentleman. He finds most Bin Weevils just a little too common for his liking. He has no patience for Tink and Clott’s practical jokes, especially when they get in the way of his golf game!

The biggest chatterbox in the Binscape can always be counted upon to have the latest bit of gossip. She's a loyal reader of Weevil Weekly, so she can pass on all the tastiest stories to her friends. Getting her to keep quiet is pretty much impossible – if there's a juicy secret, she'll spill it! The only thing Bunty loves better than a hot story is collecting celebrity autographs whilst hanging out backstage at Tycoon TV Towers! She hopes to collect autographs from every famous Bin Weevil! She is known to attend almost all the star-studded events in the Binscape with a VIP backstage pass in hand. She, along with Posh, has her own song in the movie, named “Girls Rule!”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

This sharp-witted newshound is the editor of the most popular magazine, Weevil Weekly. Whenever there's a scoop to be found, Scribbles is there on the double with his notepad and pencil, frantically scribbling down the facts - which is exactly how he got his nickname! Scribbles is the one who is being held captive by Octeelia and the WEB in the movie, as Octeelia finds him to be “very interesting”. He also has his own song in the movie, named “I’ve Got The Scoop”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

Snappy is the Bin's best photographer. She runs the Photo Shop and stocks all the coolest backdrops and props to help everyone get their Photo Studios in tip-top shape. If you ever need some great camera tips, Snappy is the Bin Weevil to ask!

This scheming spider is the leader of the WEB, an arch-enemy of the SWS and the biggest threat to the Bin since the Great Bin War. For reasons unknown, Octeelia is bent on the destruction of the Binscape and seems to have a personal grudge against Gam, Tink and Clott. Clever, tricky and without mercy, Octeelia is truly the most dangerous opponent the SWS have ever faced! She's always coming up with more elaborate evil plans, working closely with her deputy Weevil X and her legions of brainwashed Thugg henchmen. In the movie, she captures Scribbles, as she seems to find the newshound as “very interesting” to her and her henchmen. Her group, the WEB, has their own song in the movie, titled “The Wicked WEB”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

This mysterious, sneaky little villain is second in command to the WEB’s leader - Octeelia. Wily and deceitful, Weevil X is quick on his feet and has a talent for lock-picking and pet-napping. In fact, he once kidnapped Lady Wawa in a failed attempt to unleash the powers of the Bin Pet Gem on Mulch Island. No one knows exactly why he turned against the Bin and chose evil over good. His group, the WEB, has their own song in the movie, named “The Wicked WEB”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

Thugg is a drone and basic foot soldier who works for the WEB. Rumour has it that he used to be a regular Bin Weevil, until he was brainwashed by the WEB and taken into their service. Serving the arch-enemy of the SWS, he now spends his time lurking in doorways, guarding evil secrets, and doing the WEB's dirty work. He never gets a break, so it's no wonder he looks so fed up! No one is exactly sure which Thugg is the original, since there are hundreds of clones of him! His group, the WEB, has their own song in the movie, named “The Wicked WEB”, originally from the Bin Tunes album.

A storyboard artist creates storyboards for advertising agencies and film productions.

A background artist or sometimes called a background stylist or background painter is one who is involved in the process of animation who establishes the color, style, and mood of a scene drawn by an animation layout artist.

CG Artists create 2D and 3D art, usually for Cinema, Advertising or animation movies. A CG artist's work usually revolves around finding balance between artistic sensibilities and technical limitations while working within a development team.

A Lead Animator is the “Animator in Chief” in charge of an animation project for a film studio, a television studio, or a game development studio.

An animator is an artist who creates multiple images, known as frames, which give an illusion of movement called animation when displayed in rapid sequence. Animators can work in a variety of fields including film, television, and video games.

A video editor is involved in video production and the post-production of film making. The video editor's responsibilities involve decisions about the selection and combining of shots into sequences, as well as the addition of accompanying sound effects and music—to ultimately create a finished movie,  television program, commercial, promo, or snipe.

A score composer creates the musical score that accompanies a film, which is called the film score.

A sound engineer (also known as an audio engineer or recording engineer) helps to produce a recording or a live performance, balancing and adjusting sound sources using equalization, dynamics processing and audio effects, mixing, reproduction, and reinforcement of sound.

A screenplay writer is a writer who practices the craft of screenwriting, writing screenplays on which mass media, such as films, television programs and video games, are based.

Plot writer for main movie; must include acts (Act 1, Act 2, etc.) and a very detailed plot (applicators must do some detailed research about Bin Weevils and its characters, and read the synopsis first.)

A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design and all the creative aspects of filmmaking.

A talent agent, or booking agent, is a person who finds jobs for actors, authors, broadcast journalists, film directors, musicians, models, professional athletes, screenwriters, writers, and other professionals in various entertainment or sports businesses.

A film distributor is responsible for the marketing of a film. The distribution company may be the same with, or different from, the production company. Distribution deals are an important part of financing a film.

A film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing.
