Project Overview
Lonely is a comedic series of shorts about a hapless Lone Ranger living in modern day hipster Brooklyn (NYC).

In this episode the Ranger is called out by a pre-teen hipster to compete in a laser tag tournament. The project will be a hobby level, non-commercial animation approximately 7 minutes long with an estimated completion in Spring/Summer 2025. The two roles posted here pay 20$ via PayPal once the final (with reshoots if necessary) VO work is complete.
I am currently looking to fill 2 roles for the project:
Glen James - a middle aged burned out local tv sports anchor who is doing commentary for the laser tag tournament. 12 lines (158 words).
Cool Kid - an antagonistic pre-teen (12 years old) hipster boy. 10 lines (107 words). While the character is 12 years old I ask that the actor be at least 18 since this is a paid role.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The audition deadline is Sat Jan 11th at 10pm EST. If there is an acceptable selection I will contact the actors on Jan 12. I'm asking for the lines to be complete by Jan 25 (2 weeks) with any necessary retakes to be complete by the end of January (1 week).

Glen James is a middle aged, burned out, local TV sports anchor who is now doing play-by-play at the laser tag arena. A slick tv voice full of sarcasm, ennui and the muscle memory of last nights bender.

I’m here to kick ass and chew bubblegum but apparently they don't allow gum in the arena.
