My love for being creative in this space started in a class I took during my sophomore year. I was transferring to a new school and had to choose electives. Broadcasting came up, and I thought, "Why not?" Before that, I only had a slight interest in the field.

We had a project where I was appointed editor, and I fell in love with the process. I got pretty good at it toward the end of the project, and I convinced a friend that I could edit for him. I'm glad I did because I wouldn't have reached where I am today without that experience.
