Hi ya'll! Elson Wong here. I've been doing dubs of my favourite comics for over 10 years as part of an alternate social & creative recreational activity (cuz they're alot of fun to do!).
Recently I got friends to get into a manga called BEASTARS (written and illustrated by Paru Itakagi) that features a world of civilised anthropomorphic animals with a cultural divide between the carnivores and herbivores.
It's been gaining alot of popularity these past couple of years and the team and I have been successful in re-creating two high quality audio-visuals of the manga (essentially a comic-dub or motion-comic).
The anime of BEASTARS have been green-lit officially and a trailer was released just a couple of days ago - this gave me an initiative - to be one of the first to fan-dub the Japanese episodes with a high production value.
Currently I'm looking for folks who are willing to join in a fun crew of voice actors/directors/story telling enthusiasts who want to be a part of this awesome project.
There are only a LIMITED spot of cast members available (since I have the original team to reprise their roles from the previous projects), so if you love voice acting and want to be potentially casted for future FULL episode projects (the anime episodes will be released on Net Flix on October) then be sure to post your auditions! In addition, it's not a essential, but it will certainly give me and the team an excellent impression to those who have been reading BEASTARS! Good luck!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Regarding deadlines, I usually operate under a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS. So the auditions deadline doesn't guarantee that the cast slot will be available prior to the deadline date! Have fun and give it your best shot!
